Banshi ran into the village, past the screaming humans and among the bodies. Running in, she found the elderly couple she cared for still safe. "Please, stay here, hide." She said to them, hurrying them into a cellar. "I'll find the cause of this, until I return, stay here." Running back off, she saw it. Ash, bodies.... the dragon. Breaking open the glass window of a shop, she ran in and quickly found one of the swords the shop owner kept in case of emergency... sadly, he had died before reaching it. Tucking it into her coat, she ran back out. "Stop! Or I'll kill you where you stand." Banshi stood right infront of him. The village was one of the last places that was safe for crusniks to stay among humans.... all her crusniks had escaped, but she still needed to defend the people who lived there and allowed her species to do so, too.

With a serpents grace the beast tilted its head, bones snaping as its jaws closed around a body. he studied her stance, the concealed item he judged to be a sword.. and he let out a rumbleing sound of pleasure. " Ah, a slayer.. so she was wrong, my kind are still active." blinking his pale eyes the dragon yawned widly, revealing many very sharp teeth before he returned his attention on the slayer female. " would you prefer them all back?"

"Necromancy? I would rather you leave them for dead." Banshi said, standing tall, obviously absolutly no fear. "And you mistake me for a lowly slayer....?" Banshi laughed lightly at this, smiling, as if for a moment she forgot what was happening. "A slayer? Wow, that is a first..." She went on in hysterical laughter over this. Bringing herself to a stop on laughing, she then said, "No... I have two connections with necromancers already, as well as those they have resurrected." She leaned against the wall, pulling out the sword. "So... would you please shift back into your other form already? I know you can't be like that all the time." Banshi smirked while saying this. Well, just from what he said... he either has connections with Avarice, or he himself is a necromancer... this can work out to an advantage, if played right. She truely had no fear of him, and with good reason.

He turned his head to the side, laying it on the ground and closeing his eyes. if she wanted no deal, then he had nothing to do with her. lifting his right claw he started pulling bones from between his teeth.. her presense only dimmly noticed as he nosed the ash at his feet in an attempt to dislodge a stubborn femor in his lower jaw.

"I want a to talk." Banshi said. "So, you are a shapeshifter and a necromancer...." Banshi walked over to him, her boots sloshing through the ash mixed in with human blood, dirt, and chunks of remains. Standing just a few yards away, she then said, crossing her arms, "Let's reach an agreement, surely... there is something you want I could offer, and vice versa. Atleast, I know I have something for you in mind. First of all..." Banshi offered out her hand, although he was still in dragon form. "My name is Banshee... and my reason for wanting to attack you, and still being willing to do so, is related to personal matters of friends in this village."

that much got his attention, slanting his head so he could study her with one large eye.. body inhumanly still. " you should speak with the last person to have plans for me, litte creature." with clearly relaxed movements he studied the damage he had done.. eyes narrowing as he snorted small bursts of flame. " so.. these friends are dead?"

Banshi raised an eyebrow, lowering her hand. "Does personal interest matter anymore? I fear not.... that is, it does not matter either way to you." Pulling her hair back from her face, Banshi then said.... it did secretly annoy her when creatures did this, however, what was the problem with being completely misunderstood? Misunderstandning is a blessing... it provides a mask you need not make yourself. "Yes, I have plans for you... they are in your best interest, or atleast, we could twist them where you would be better off discussing this with me than not. Or, I could leave.... or, you could try to fry me here, and see exactly what happens to you." She smiled while saying this, she never liked masks much anyways... her eyes were unreadable. "Your choice."

he sniffed the air lightly, eyes keen as he turned sharply toward her. he lowered his head until his nose was within striking distance of her, almost testingly close as he growled. " ah, a choice.. if comeing from a creature less like myself i would simply eat you, but im not a fool.. how many have you killed in order to save your race? and, how many vampires have you fed from without remorce because, thanks to evalution, they are your food source? Yes, we are alike, so do not go noble on me little Crusnik. i've survived centuries as my brothers perished, i'll not put up with a snappy hatchling when im so close to revival of my race." snarling in warning he let a plum of smoke trail from his nose, annoyed at the 'beating around the bush' talk. " State, flat out, what you want."

Banshi stood still, and then said. "Yes, indeed we are. Now, I am sure you have heard the names Edward Grey and Lanius Necro-Inclementia... they have been resurrected by a necromancer by the name of Kirai, who was Wrath of the 7 Deadly Sins over 200 years ago. Avarice, the alpha lycan, is a necromancer as well as has been growing, let's say... too powerful, him and his sister, as well as his followers. I'm sure Avarice is on to us already, it would be odd if he was not, so I have no fear in sharing this with you. They should be a great concern to everyone, and seeing that I can sense how powerful of a necromancer you are... that Avarice will either clash heads with you or try to get you under his power. We can offer you to stay in Haven, access to Kirai's necromancy and the rest of our abilities as we assist and share with one another, as well as Avarice's old books and notes concerning necromancy among other things. Of course, we could also add in and twist this agreement to however you see fit, if you have any certain thing in mind. Or, you may reject it right here and now." Banshi looked into his eyes while saying this, calm and simply laying out the facts for him to make his decision.... she never liked getting anybody by deciet.

he appeared almost smug for a moment before he let his eyes close, his tail sliding through the gore as he considered the options.. then he paused, opening his eyes as he answered. " i will offer my Lys your idea, and i will tell you my own now.. your leaders may use my art but they use it ignorantly, they use it without seeing its purpose.. its key potential. if Lys joins your cause she will be able to call on me when there is need. it is up to she if we join, for it is likey only her that could be harmed by this." not that he would allow such a thing.. but he did not dictate other creatures lives.. much. he would ask lys where she stood in the matter before offering this strange female a answer.

Banshi nodded. "So, before I depart to inform Lanius to tell the others of this, would you mind not killing anyone else in this village, atleast for today?" Banshi looked at the ground, and moved a severed hand away with her foot. "This will be a mess to clean up as it is."

" starve myself? pha, two legged creatures.. seeing as you asked nicely.." He drew back, snarling in distaste as he coiled up on the far side of the ash feild.. his red scales making him appear as a giant hill of blood. his voice, sounding oddly young for such a ancient beast, echoed in her head. " i will burn it, if only because you held your manners before your need to strike. go to your pack, i will resist eating until next moon." to him, manners mattered... and courtious people got far in his good side.

Banshi said, "Thanks, if you need to get ahold of me, I'll most likely be in Haven." Turning around and walking off, she waved goodbye. Stopping by the houses of each person she knew that was still alive, Banshi told them to pack and to move to the Mainlands that night, and so they did so... however, she did leave a few people there. Necessary sacrifices.... atleast, the people she left were known criminals and thugs. With that, Banshi left to go and find Lanius.

((Damn you guys got far))
Her eyes went wide but she did as he said, locking to door behind her. As if it could protect her. Even mentally preparing herself didn't keep her from jumping when he roared, covering her ears tightly as she sat on the ground next to the door. It didn't stop her from smelling the smoke and hearing the screams, but he kept her from the haunting images. As evil as this was and as selfish as she felt, she was glad he did. When it was done she heard a woman talking though she couldn't make out the words. Still she stayed where she was, slightly shaky. She knew that he would be back soon. He had told her to stay inside, and her house hadn't been damaged. That had to mean he had a purpose for her. Right?
