Gwen nodded. "He did. How'd it go?" she asked.
Kai frowned when she realized he was testing the collar and instead she touched it, pushing more magic in and making it so that he couldn’t use any magic at all, shapeshifting included. “There we go. Dais, perhaps you should question him? I can make him speak, but my mind tends to wander a bit and you’ll know what is important and what to ask?” she asked, watching Ri fly off after Leena. The dragon wanted no part of what was to come.

((Thy, you can control Walter too.))
Aldon scurried on to Kai's head. The ferret had taken a liking to Kai, and just as like Dais, decided that the head was the best place. Ok, Aldon. Watch her fry you, Dais thought.
Walter inwardly cursed his misfortune. He still had a communicator of some sort in his robes, if he could reach it. The demon continued glaring at Kai and Dais.
Dais nodded at Kai's action and her suggestion. He pulled up a chair for Walter to sit in, but remained standing. "Kai, you should satisfy your curiosity, as well." The other chairs were too far away for him to reach without removing the sword, and he was taking precautions.
"How long have you been here?" he asked Walter sternly. Dais was sure he had an idea on what Altarion's plan for Mereth was, and how far it progressed would depend on when Walter infiltrated the palace.

Kai shifted how she was sitting, crossing her legs and staying in front of the chair/Walter. "Talk, dear. I'd rather not have to use more of my magic." she suggested, though she glared lightly when he didn't say a thing. She sighed, giving thought to a spell. A zolt of electricity shot through his body, and she noted how he used the 'spasm' to move his hand closer to the his robes. With another thought Walter would find himself hanging upside down, unable to move. "Aldon, would you see what it was he was trying to reach?" she asked, her eyes flicking up to the ferret sitting on her head.

((I actually still don't know what sort of sounds ferrets make...haha))
Walter was apparently surprised by his sudden change of position from right side up to upside down. A cry from him demonstrated his surprise further.
Aldon made a sound and bound upward on the demon. His movements would probably be ticklish to the man. The ferret weaseled into the robes and disappeared for a moment. Stuff started falling out including a book, that made sure to hit Walter's head before falling to the floor and a curious looking round object, which Aldon jumped on and rode to the ground.
Dais raised and eyebrow as Walter remained silent. "About a year?" he hazarded. He had heard Leena and Gwen's conversation earlier about the deaths of Leena's parents.

Kai glared as he refused to talk. "Talk." she murmured, eyes flashing at the force behind the word and the magic behind it. A small swarm of translucent bugs swarmed around Walter, melding with his skin. A moment later they had positioned themselves all along his nerves. Every second he didn't talk the bugs would continue gnawing on his nerves. Every bug chomped down, then released their hold on the nerves.
"Answer him, Walter. This spell bores me, I want something more fun. But, they tell me not to use them much because they hurt more." she said, shrugging. "Doesn't matter to me." She picked up the round thing Aldon had jumped on, looking at it curiously. "What is it?" she asked.

((I was thinking of making the round ball a communicator from Gannel, which will work if operated correctly and self destruct if not. Self destructing will send a signal to Gannel or whoever Walter's partner is. Some kind of magic ball. Up to you?))
Walter looked like he was in pain, Dais noted as he saw the demon grit his teeth together slightly. "A year?" The assassin inquired again, to which he got a nod. The demon fake councillor truly looked like he was going to hold out as much as he could.
It looked like Dais could leave all the techniques to Kai. She was using rather efficient techniques.
The assassin eyed the round ball now in Kai's hands. It resembled one of Gannel's special communicators though Dais was himself unfamiliar with this model. Information was of importance here, and they couldn't be distracted. He eyed Walter, waiting for the demon's response to Kai's question.
The next questions he wanted to ask would be on the progress of the plan and what Altarion wanted to do. If Walter had arrived about a year ago, perhaps, he had aided in the deaths of one or both of Leena's parents. A year was ample time to turn the council against Leena, who was already distraught and unapproved of by a good number of people. By promising the council members safety and assurance, Altarion would not even need to waste his troops on Mereth. He had puppet rulers, the council. Dais was thinking too much. This was what had caused his departure from Gannel.

((that works))
"Speak up love. They'll stop biting if you do." Kai said simply, then she waved the circle thing. "What is this?" she asked, recieving a glare in response. With a sigh and a motion of her hand more bugs formed, though they went to another, very sensitive part of a man's anatomy instead of his nervous system. After a minute she made them stop so he would be able to speak. "A communicator. Self destructing, sends signals to Gannel..." he gasped. "See? You talk, they won't bite." she said, nodding. "Did you start the rebellion last year?" she asked, and after he nodded he cried out in pain this time. For that to happen, Dais would know she had to have caused an extremem amount of pain. "Hm... Probably shouldn't have done that... Oh well. Dais?" she looked to him, not having more questions for the moment. Or rather, not wanting to loose her temper again and accidentially kill the demon.

((Thy, would you like to make up the answers to these? I know they're vague. This ia a blatant excuse to hide my mind blanking on ideas.))
His hunch was right. That left two questions. He could explain himself to Kai later. He was never one to reveal much to those he interrogated.
"Two questions," Dais started. "When is Altarion coming? Second, what else was Gannel planning to do with Mereth?"
Maybe they could also ask about the communicator workings and make use of it to trick Gannel. ...if Dais could betray any Altarion any more than he could, he was doing it. And of course, Dais had no qualms about Kai's magic and its effect on Walter.
((Should we let Maya make up a name for the person Walter is directly under? Not sure if she wants to put some input here on this whole questioning procedure.))

"When he can crush the rebellion fully. Amaryllis, kill her, then her host. Publicly as possible, crush all hope." Walter said through clenched teeth. Apparently Kai was still a little annoyed with him and her bugs were still messing with his nerves. "Mereth is just one force... Strong when united, and stronger still when under his control... Or kill them all, remove the threat." He cried out again, this time Kai's eyes flashing again at the magic used.
"How does this work? Everything, anything you have to say, things to let them know it's you, everything you know about it." Kai said. "And I'll know if you leave anything out." she added. She did have ways to do that, though none in effect. But more than likely the threat would do well enough. ((this one is yours. And trading off answer/questions works well enough, if you don't answer a question you ask I'll assume it's for me to answer. And yes, Maya, step in whenever you want.))

((Alright.))
Walter's response was interesting. If what Walter said was true, Altarion was waiting for Amaya to get stronger just so he could crush her more publicly in front of more people. Namely, in front of her supportive army, whoever ended up in it.
Walter gasped again, the pain continuing. "Hidden button on side. Hold and talk. Bottom self destruct."
Dais blinked. Something was off. The one on the bottom was always the real one on the ones he had used, since it was less noticeable. Oh, no, you don't "It's the other way around. What is the code?" And it was a given that there was a short code. Had Walter purposely answered that way? It was no wonder that the demon had been sent to do this particular mission. Too bad Walter failed the mission.
"What?" Walter rasped. "Code? You mean three clicks?" He seemed a little surprised.
"Good job," Dais mumbled. Apparently, Walter didn't recognize him, probably because he didn't have the eyepatch on. Back in Gannel, Dais always had the eyepatch. If Aldon came out now with the eyepatch.... Dais brushed the thought away. It would just mean they would waste more time.
"Where else does Altarion have those such as you posing in the councils?" Dais asked. It was possible that Altarion had each kingdom infiltrated in a different way.
((Edit: So the questioning doesn't go on too long, I guess we can summarize, be vague, and move on so the others can roleplay.))

((If you want, you can just skip it. Doesn't matter to me.))
Kai frowned when the demon lied. She put more strength into the spell that had previously kept the council from lying, now making it all apply to Walter. If he tried to lie he wouldn't be able to voice it. SHe smiled, seeing him open his mouth and no sound come out.
"Don't lie and you can talk." Kai said calmly, sounding somewhat bored and disinterested. "Talk fast, dear. There's other spells I want to play with." she added.
"All of them. Aduial doesn't have one, only place He doesn't have one that He doesn't control."
"Give me the names of his other spies. All that you know." Kai said, scrawling the names given on a piece of paper that appeared on her lap. She'd deal with them later.

((Ok, I'll just wrap up the questioning.))
Dais didn't expect Walter to know all the names, and Walter didn't. But something bothered him about the name Walter gave for Talagand. It was his name, his last name. Either Walter was outdated, or Dais was never taken off the list.
After a few more questions, they were done, and it was a matter of how to dispose of Walter.... not in a painless way either. "Walter, I am Balderon," he mumbled with sigh, ignoring whatever reaction Walter had.
He then turned to Kai. "I'll explain later. Kai?" He was expecting some massive random magic from her. He had no more questions. And afterwards, it was about time to explain himself. Especially if Amaryllis saw the list Kai had gotten from Walter.

Kai blinked, nodded, and crossed the name off. She didn't seem surprised. "Dais, did Leena say to leave him alive?" she asked. She then shrugged. "Doesn't really matter though, does it? Since she can get what she wants from the spirit." she added. After a spell she actually murmured she watched him scream as his body disolved. "Hm. So that's what that one does..." she mused, standing up and picking Aldon up. "Shall we join the others?" she asked, glancing at the pile of dust that at one point was a demon. A bottle appeared and the dust flowed into it, a cork was placed in the mouth, and then it all dissapeared again.

Leena sighed heavily, noting to scold him when he decided to come back, knowing how large his stomach could be. "Of course... Forgive him for that. I know Talia had to go deal with other things." She said softly, taking a deep, calming breath before she answered since she was still seething a bit thought she refused to show it. "It went well I suppose. Got a bit hectic, but ended fine." She answered, not quite giving the whole truth since it wasn't necessary. And well, generally one didn't talk about the faults in their kingdom unless they had to.

Dais didn't make any comments when Kai muttered the spell and disposed of Walter. He did however think that Kai was a little reckless, trying out a spell for the first time, not knowing exactly what it would do. Altarion would have liked Kai. Luckily, the dark king did not have her.
The assassin nodded at Kai's suggestion and picked up the book that had dropped from Walter's robes. A book on the history of Mereth. Aldon darted onto Dais head, to his dismay, and happily roosted there, once again swinging the eyepatch in front of Dais's face.
What is with you and the eyepatch lately, Aldon? Dais thought as he followed Kai.
