Alicia had a serious expression as she watched the video. Sure she already seen most of the files and knew about Franz Hopper and the others but still made an impact. What went through his mind after finding out that he didn't have the control he thought he had. It was depressing to think that his project would have such a powerful effect on the world. Jeremy and the others almost lived the lives of comic book heroes. what with all the attacks on the school, there was no way they could have a normal simple life.

As the video was finishing up, Alicia rubbed her eyes for a moment having a little trouble adjusting her eyes. She took a deep breath after finishing her train of thought. "Its pretty crazy thinking that XANA could just attack so often the way he did" she said thinking out loud.

" Any louder?" He said to Donny. " Anyways, since it would not erase anyone's memory that has actually entered the scanner, I would have done a lot of things and be in college if it weren't for the down side."

" This place is so huge that our voices echo around the place. You can be heard from a mile away...... or further..... I should try that out later." He grinned as he looked towards the distance.

Donny rolled his eyes at Kearo and thought back to the girl he saw in the hallway. Had his warning scared her off or ignited her curiosity? Usually eavesdroppers only became more interest when someone noticed them. Donny stood up and said, "I gotta use the restroom really quick, go ahead and continue without me." Without waiting for an answer, Donny slipped out the door, opening it as narrowly as he could so the others wouldn't see outside, but appearing to them like he was preventing anyone outside from seeing in. Donny looked down and as he suspected, the girl was right there at the door. Donny, as swiftly as he could, closed the door gently and put a hand over the girl's mouth so that she wouldn't make a noise and alert the others inside. Donny awkwardly lifted the girl to her feet and did his best to drag her quietly down the hall to the corner. When they were there, he hissed, "What are you doing here? Can you take a hint?" Donny tried his best to be menacing but his face gave it all away; he was worried about this stranger, not wanting to have another dragged into this X.A.N.A. mess and get hurt. Although he would never admit it, Donny was scared of X.A.N.A. and what he could do to people, and he didn't want anyone else to share his fear. He wanted as few people to get hurt as possible by this ghost, computer, monster, whatever it was.


Hanz frowned at Saiko. "It would most likely be useless. I doubt that there are any other conscious programs that would be able to react to communication here." And that led Hanz to wonder to himself why X.A.N.A. would create entities such as himself to serve him in Zero Space, a realm of nothingness.

Kearo put his head down and held the towel in place. " He did not do it alone... he had monsters and his own warriors...." He became more stressed because of his past with Sakio. " My regrets have taken a toll on me..."

Kearo sighed "*sigh* We were talking about this in the factory earlier."
(Flashback with a little narration from Kearo)
" Xana gathered 3 other warriors, there was Hanz, XANA's first attempt at making warriors, Ethan Castellan, a guy that willingly joined Xana, and Sakio, with a little help from the Scyphozoa, was also with XANA.... when I was not fighting him. I think you know where this leads to......"

(now back on Zero Space)
" Ya know, instead of looking and shooting arrows at it, why don't we actually go to it." Sakio suggested as he headed for the light. (NO, DEATH WAITS ON THE OTHER SIDE.)

"Well like the others I guess we have to wait for an opening. Keep an eye for any suspicious activity or anyone who seems out of place." Alicia said thinking about it for a moment. What with XANA being in Zero Space, it was hard to tell if that meant more or less attacks from him. And what Kearo mentioned about the others made her paranoid. How much power did they have? She closed her eyes as she put her hands behind her head thinking long and hard. "Do we wait for XANA to try another attack or do we make the first move?"

"Shh." Conor shushed them. "This is getting important. I haven't listened to this part before."

He turned the volume up slightly on his computer as Jeremy began speaking again in the video. "...appears to be infinite. The boundary between the digital sea and zero-space is ever-shifting. A spot that's wide-open digital ocean may become engulfed by zero-space after several hours. Curiously, when it retreats, any hubs and other network structures it swallowed up are still present."

He took a breath and continued. "We sent a dummy naveskid into Zero-space, to see what would happen. Curiously, the navskid's signal stops moving just a few thousand feet into Zero-space territory. But the signal is always there. What's even more confusing is when the void retreats from that area, the navskid is no longer present, unlike the network structures it swallows up. But its signal is always present."

Diagrams accompanied his monologue, and faded back to video feed as Jeremie paused to take a breath, scratch his head, and push up his glasses.

"How can you tell that you're going towards it? The light all looks the same to me." Ethan said as he looked around him, left-right, up-down, as far as he could turn his head and eyes.

He fired another energy arrow into the void, this time putting more energy into it to make it glow brighter. Same result: the arrow kept traveling away until it faded. The only difference was that it took longer for this one to fade away.

It was times likes these that he wished he wasn't such a crap actor. "Listen I......I just can't tell you," Donny said shakily, "Just please go, and don't think about it anymore. I don't want anyone else to get hurt." Donny flinched at his own words and mentally kicked himself. Wasn't it him that warned the others about Kearo at the vending machine (not like it mattered now, though)? And now here we has, all but spilling the beans to some random girl in the hallway. He didn't even notice that he still had an arm wrapped around her waist. The fear was sinking in now. He and the others had no idea what they were getting into. This X.A.N.A. thing was crazy. Taking over peoples' minds, trying to ram buses into power plants, taking over the world! It was all just crazy. Why was Donny being dragged into this? He wasn't a fighter.......Donny's eyes started to well up and his grip on the girl loosened.
