Shinji couldn't help but be amused, and he shook his head some as he looked to Lena. What do you think has a nice ring to it, love? He asked, still sort of chuckling to himself.

In fact, I'm quite glad you're asking me questions, as that makes it seem like you're more interested in talking to me. She looked at him with a half-smile. And it's great to hear that you wish to "explore details of emotion", not many people seem to care about what others think or why. Chiyoko's eyes lit up when he said that he was interested in her. How do you like me? she asked curiously, tilting her head. Just as a friend, or...? Tatsumi nodded to all the things Chiyoko said. He took a deep breath and smiled faintly to her. I like you as a friend right now, he said. I don't know about anything more than that anytime soon. Maybe if we get to know eachother more I can better explain my feelings, he added. The food was brought to them promptly, with their beverages. Tatsumi mumbled a "thank you".

I have no idea where this came from or why, but how about Florentine? Shinji laughed, shifting to take a drink. He looked to Lena a moment, spinning words and names through his mind to see if something funner to say popped in.

well, in German, you'd say Granchio for crab...Shinji offered, snickering some from behind the lip of his glass. We could find ways to say 'crab' in other languages?

Yeah... Chiyoko said, her voice trailing off as she began quickly eating. She kept looking at Tatsumi, although not saying a word until she finished. I can pay for my own, she murmured, sipping her drink. Thank you for the company, too.

Tatsumi frowned to Chiyoko, shaking his head slightly as he finished. No, I don't want you to pay for your own, he said. I invited you to get some food, and thank you very much for the company as well...why are you eager to leave? Have I done something wrong?

Chiyoko started in a low voice, I'm very capable of paying for myself. It won't put me in the poor house, so don't worry. I wouldn't feel comfortable if you payed for me. She shook her head solemnly, looking down. You didn't do anything wrong either, I did. I'm sorry if I seem eager to leave. Maybe part of me is, but otherwise, I want to spend all of my time with you. Of course, she laughed nervously, that's an impossibility. I think I might just go home... she sighed. I just tagged along with Greta so she could find her mom, but she left and now I don't have anything to do. I'd much rather go home than sleep outside somewhere anyhow. Chiyoko looked at Tatsumi, forcing a smile. Thank you...so much, for a lot of things...

I'm paying for your dinner, as well, he said, pulling money out of his wallet and taking the bill to the counter, leaving her in her seat. He sighed inwardly. He went back over to the table, looking down to her. You can't punish me because I don't know you. I want to get to know you, you see? Why don't you understand that? It doesn't happen this fast, I can't let it happen this fast... he explained, fighting back his emotions. And as for your friend, I'm sure you'll find her somehow. I'm sure that she'll find you. I'm sure you two will find eachother?

Sounds good to me. Shinji laughed, glancing to the waiter as he brought out their dishes. Wow, faster than last time! he laughed after they left, looking over his dinner before glancing to Lena's.

"They have really good service here... you don't usually get your food this fast at a nice resturant like this, but then again.. it's not all that crowded right now... so that might be why.." Lena said with a bit of a shrug, before looking down at her food.

It never really is busy here. Nice, actually. I don't like going to restaraunts where you're seated on top of another party who's trying to converse over your conversation and nobody can hear anything, and then the couple next to you has small children that they're not paying attention to and the kids are screaming and throwing their food and- Shinji drifted off in a rant until his eyes crossed momentarily and he looked to Lena. What were we talking about? he laughed, blushing softly as he shifted his food on his plate some.
