Warakai climbed up onto his boat moving quickly around the deck to gather up all the stuff that it would be best not to get wet all of which he wrapped up in his sail and dropped into the sand. "Lets just get this over with" he said jumping back down and pushing the boat back into the water "c'mon Leith" he said climbing up with the help of a slight push from the water.

Jessie suddenly awoke from her trance-like state only to realize that she had fallen asleep in the shower standing up. How that happenned, she had no idea. Shaking her head as to try and rid herself of the wierd dreams, she turned off the water and stepped out. Sopping wet and still in her clothes, she took a seat on the floor and removed her waterlogged boots so they would dry. She got up and wrapped herself in a big fluffly white towel exiting the now steamed-up bathroom and made her way to the kitchen where her pickings from the dumpster sat. Dripping a bit, she mulled over her findings: A half-eaten apple, a stale loaf of bread, and a few greasy chicken wings. Sighing, she took a seat on one of the wooden chairs at the table, grabbed a slice of the stale bread and dug in.

Leith left Mike's jacket on the beach and waded out into the water, crawling into the boat without any assistance from the water. She wanted to save as much of her energy for the sinking and for swimming back. She really didn't know how well she would perform after she had overdone herself at the ship wreck. She sat down in the boat and sighed, looking up at Warakai. She patted him and said with sympathetic eyes, "I know it's hard, but we'll be back soon enough. At least you and Mike will. She'll only be resting."

Warakai nodded "it should be fine, Do you think you are going to be able to lift that much water? I mean you did overexert yourself a little not long ago." He said using the water to push them out a little further, the water was dark almost black it wouldn't have to be very deep to be hidden just as long as the water was higher than the boat.

"Well, I won't have to really lift all that much water. We can essentially just tip the boat and make sure it doesn't land on it's side when it hits bottom. I'm fine, don't worry about me." Leith shrugged as she looked over the edge of the boat into the water, gauging how deep the water was just by the feeling she got.

Lucien was back at home with his family. the home was nothing more than a gigantic basement. It wasn't much, but it was still home. The damp and darkness were an asylum for what was waiting outside with the machines. He had a responsibility here. Lucien had no other obligations...however he wished he could leave the city for good. It was a selfish wish, but one he wanted nonetheless. Nothing would please him more than to see the world beyond the city...not to mention the safety of his dear little sister.

Mike shuddered. Not because he was cold, as chilly as it was, but seeing the two Elementals sink the ship, and go down with it, sent chills up his spine. He scooped up his jacket and it hung in the crook of his good arm. His wrapped arm was throbbing. After all, it had been overused. His fingers, he could see in the light of the fire, were dark purple already. Mike wasnt going to enjoy the hike back up to the city at all. He wanted to stay down here and guard their supplies and be on the look out for beach-combing soldiers, but didnt want to be alone.
And besides, what if something happened to Warakai and Leith? There were strange people wandering around in the night, if not soldiers. Mike smirked a little. He knew Warakai would be able to take care of himself. Then he frowned.
Warakai reminded Mike of his late brother.

"Okay Leith lets raise it from this side" he said pointing to the right "and then we are going to have to go down with it to make sure it hits the bottom right" he said crouching for better leverage.

Having finished what I guess she would call a "meal", Jessie put away the "leftovers" and took off the towel to see how dry the clothes underneath were. To her surprise, they were a little damp, but mostly dry. Satisfied, she returned to the bathroom to retrieve and put on her hoslter belts. Deciding a breeze would be the best way to dry her clothes the rest of the way, Jessie grabbed a key to the apartment, put on her cloak, exited into the alley and locked the door behind her before shoving the key into her pocket. Walking down the alley, she passed by nonchalantly the homeless man she had left to die earlier, and sure enough, he was dead. Continuing on, a light rain began to fall as she turned out of the alley and onto the sidewalk. She pulled up her hood and kept an eye out for dangerous or suspicious characters, as was her nature.

Lucien looked out using a shadow gate and saw that it was beginning to rain. He sighed. How were the others doing. He sat back, thinking that there was nothing left to do. He felt a tug on his left sleeve and looked. There was nothing but shadows. Then he sighed. "Here it comes....", he thought.

From above, his younger sister, Tamara, dropped down into his lap with a whump, laughing like a carefree child. "Nii-chan? what are we going to do today?", she asked.

"I don't think there's anything to do, Tammy...", he sighed.

"Aww come on...can't we go out to the docks and watch the boats?", she pleaded.

"Only if you don't mind getting wet in the rain..."

"I could use my--"

"No, mother said not to use your powers in public."

She thought back to herself and sat down besides him. "We have an umbrella?"

Lucien sighed. She was stubborn but he wanted to do something anyway. "...Fine...ask mother first."

Gleefully she hugged her brother and ran off to find her mother.

Lucien shook his head. Tamara acted so childish most of the time...it brought him back memories...

Leith moved to the left side of the boat and leaned over, hoping some of her weight would help her not have to use her abilities as much. She stuck her hand into the water and closed her eyes, summoning her energy to control the water. The dark liquid crept up her arm and spilled into the boat. "You swell the water on your side to push it under more. But once she starts to sink you need to push it back down so she doesn't tip over on me." Leith said as she looked back to Warakai seriously, no trace of that gravitational smile she was prone to.

Warakai focused downward forcing the water to bulge over the sides quickly flooding the boat he made an attempt to send the water bellow decks so it would sink faster. The water was already upto his waist as he attempted to stay on the deck trying to keep the boat straight as it sank. "such an undramatic death" he sighed.

"What would you expect when we're trying to keep it usable and not die?" Leith's stern face broke and she grinned at him. The water was doing most of the job for them now so she stood next to Warakai. She looked out back towards the shore and saw Mike's small figure illuminated by the fire. Even from here she could tell he was gloomy. Why shouldn't he be? His arm's broken and he's missing the fun by not being a water elemental.
The water was to her shoulders now and she felt like she was starting to float. She looked to Warakai with eyes that explained her slight fear. "We better get this done quickly. I don't want to be stuck too deap and out of air."

Warakai focused on pushing the boat down holding his breath the moment it hit the bottom he grabbed Leith by the arm and churned the water around him into a small whirlpool which he used to shoot them both to the surface. "To your aunts house then?" he said with a smile trying to enjoy the water that had just taken his home and primary mode of transportation.

Leith laughed, "Well, you sure did get it done quickly." She laughed against as she pushed her blonde hair away from her face as it stuck to her skin. "Yeah, to my Aunt." She dipped under the surface and swam towards the shore, coming up only once for air. Her feet felt the sand under them and she stood out of the water, her hair sticking to her cheeks, shoulders, back, and her chest. She waved to Mike as she gathered her hair and tossed it behind her, water streaming off of her. She smiled, "Looks like we made it alright and the boat's just fine too!"
