Laurell smiled a bit like teh cheshire cat as she saw her friend snap out of her daze. Laughing now she said, "Ya know as well as I do Zeni, I'll do what's needed to, even talking like that, if you pull s**t like that again." stepping back to her friend she patted her on the back and laughed again saying, "You might not let me but do ya really think it'll stop me old friend." Letting her laughter calm down she grew coldly seriously as she went back to her all buisness demeanor, "Onto other s**t..." She let her eyes got to Amos and she said, "I'll deal with this one myself...." Deiberatly turning her back to the man she asked Zeni ina quiet voice, "Tell me Zeni what did my lack of extra senses miss..." Her eyes were sharply intense adn watching her friend and takign any note of the change in her body language, which she was a master at reading.

“Nyma died setting up some kind of barrier over the city. There is a new angel of legends born. I sense the angel. It might be wise that we get her to join us, if she is found and protect her. We cannot have a repeat with Nyma sacrificing herself for the city.” Solzeni was deadly serious as she look at Laurell. Her senses were never wrong on something like as she sat there. Her body language spoke volumes as her eyes had narrowed as she spoke.

Raven nodded, "Thank you, that sounds like a lovely plan." She said softly and smiling. "Food sounds good, maybe it can get this sad thought out of our minds, for a bit at least."

"Yes that sounds nice." Lance said smiling. In the last few days he has grown quite attached to Raven showing her his workplace and even making things to help entertain her when she was not reading from his book selections. He didn't hold much hope that the pain would disappear with food but hopefully it might damper the sad mood a little.

“That is good to hear. I know of a quaint restaurant not far from here that we can eat at. It’s affordable and has good food.” Melanie smiled a bit glad to hear that they accepted her offer as she checked to make sure she could pay for three people and noticed she could pay for at least five people to eat. That was plenty. She had saved up enough quite well as she stood up. “Shall we?”

Raven pushed herself to her feet. She faced Lance and offered him a hand up, with her good arm. She smiled at him with a reserved quiet. "Thank you miss Melanie." she said smiling back at her. "How far is this restaurant?"

Lance took Raven's hand in his as his other hand pushed off the ground to share its load of the weight hat is Lance's body.
Mean while Amelia exited the garage Lance called home. Her lone form was seen walking toward the edge of town. She was programmed to be in contact with Lances senses so she was aware of an impending threat and her defensive programing came into effect.

“It is not a far walk. I hope you like the food there. It is quite enjoyable. The atmosphere is beautiful. They even have a big fish tank inside that you can look at all the fish inside and sit next to.” Melanie smiled as she looked at the two. Her body seemed to move as she began to walk towards the restaurant in question leading them to it. She knew the way and wanted them to feel welcomed instead of alienated.

"They have a fish tank in the restaurant?" Raven asked, her eyes gleaming with a child-like wonder. "What sort of fish do they have? Can we sit next to the fish?" She asked nearly bouncing with her joy.

Amos stepped back just enough to avoid Laurell's blade. Trial by fire, eh? he thought, his hands resting on the handles of his metal tonfa. Can't say I'm surprised; I'll only be fighting the forces of evil. Come hell or high water, I'm in it for the long run. Take your best shot, Laurell.

"If there is space then I don't see any problem with sitting by the fishes." Lance said smiling warmly. Lance fell into pace behind Melanie with Raven nearby as they made their way to the restaurant in question.

“We’re going to sit next to the tank, if they have the seats available.” Melanie would smile knowing that would be something Raven would be happy with. Melanie also enjoyed watching the fish as well. It made her happy. She looked at Lance every so often and though he smelled of metal he looked handsome to her.

Raven followed along close behind them, the soft tap of her bare feet hitting the soil of the patted down hard ground. "I hope they do them." She said with a quick twirl, and regaining herself she ran after them again.

Seshuyin closed his eyes for a second as he continues to walk, the second he re-opened them the spirals were gone and the pupils were back to normal. His smile also changed from a devils smile to that one more of calm and cocky at the same time. The city was not much farther as he saw it up ahead and started to run for it.

Amelia left the safety of the barrier. Not being alive or an instrument of destruction to the city she was able to pass through with no difficulty. Amelia's data was constantly updating and experiencing the forest was new to her as she touched one of the tree's at the forest border.
Amelia noticed a man running toward the city and her face frowned in anticipation of a threat to the city and those that she is charged to protect.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lance looked at Raven. "If you want I can carry you on my back Raven? Who knows what kind of things you might step on in the streets." Lance asked concerned as he noticed her bare feet.
