Marylin Manson...It's funny. Not too long ago, you were completely ready to pummel him if he ever crossed your path (or attempted to play Winslow). What changed your mind?
Actually, two packets of sugar (me likes me sugar!). Yeah, it isn't too often that one sees sugar cubes, is it? Do people really use those? I wanna try one!
Aww, don't worry. You're still the Queen of the Winslow Phangirls. Remember the crown? *hands Thorn a sceptre* There. Now your queenliness is complete.
I won't. Don't worry. Your secret's safe with me (although, I don't think it'll be that much of a secret anymore when people come into this thread and read it).
Omigosh, I totally meant to comment on your sig last time *facepalm* By the time I got to the end of my post, I guess it went out of my mind. It's soo cute! heart heart heart I really like it ^^
Believe it or not, I have heard of them. Whether I know any of their songs...well, that's another story. Actually, the only song of their's I think I've even heard is the one on your myspace profile.
PotO reference? *perks up* Where? mrgreen I shall have to check it out.
I was watching this thing about PotP on youtube (the documentary on Phantompalooza) and I realized how many PotP phans there are. I honestly didn't know there were so many. And someone even made a Winslow replica. You should hunt him down and force him to make one for you. Hehe.

Yeah, I was pretty hostile toward him. Well, a little while back, I saw an interview with him, and the moment he walked on stage I was like "OMGSOOHOT! *Dies*". And terribly traumatized, yet not being able to keep my eyes off him, I realized exactly how gorgeous and Winslowlike he really was. It was weird how unlike his rockstar persona he was. He's surprisingly smart and funny. I was in denial of this for a bit, but then my mom found out and she, having enjoyed the movie, comes and says "He would make a perfect Winslow," just before I told her who she was watching.
And the rest is history. I'm seriously surprised how such a gorgeous guy can look so...fake in still photographs and while singing. Which is all I had seen him in significantly before.
Ah, I see. I'm pretty sure people do, in fact, use sugar cubes. It would be amusing to try them.
Woohoo! I rule over the hordes of Winslow fans. FEAR ME!
Thanks! I'm so friggin' proud of it it's scary. It never fails to make me go fangirl. (And, according to my mom, watching me go fangirl, since I wear the spikes and stuff, is quite an experience.) *Dance*
Ah, yeah. I'm obsessed with them. They make me happy.
Man, those things wouldn't load for me yesterday. I hope they're still up in half a year. (By Saturday, my life is basically over for half a year, what with catching up with school credits and such. AUGHHH!)
Hah, I should hunt that person down. At least I'd be prepared if he refused. My martial arts teacher was showing us stuff on knife fighting today. *Griiiiin*

Seriously? I wanna see this interview now! Wow. Yeah, I remember that my mom had seen him on Politically Incorrect or something a few years back. She told me that he was a very intelligent man. And I don't think he was what she expected at all.
Well, I guess you never know who you might suddenly get a different opinion of. It's happened to me enough times.
Yeah, wouldn't it though?
*Becomes fearful and cowers in a corner*
It's freakin' adorable. Haha...I wanna see you have a fangirl moment while wearing the spikes. Is there unintention self-injury or something?
Well, that's good if they make you happy =D
Aww, they weren't loading? That's a shame. Well, keep trying. Much PotP-ish-ness.
Wouldn't it be loverly to have your own Winslow replica? Yeesh...knife fighting? I wouldn't ever want to piss you off xD
Crap...only part of my siggy pic is showing up...I guess it's too huge *goes to change sig pic*

Heeh! He isn't what a lot of people expect, it seems. He's terrific! The video is on youtube. Search under "Marilyn Manson Letterman 2003" or something. I think that was it.
So true. I used to think Winslow'd be my least favorite Phantom. rofl
Mwahaha!
Yup. I want it to be reeeeeal! *Threatens the judges of reality with knife*
Not self injury, but it looks weird, and people generally steer clear of my...thrashing. It looks like I'm in a mosh pit of one outside a concert, is the best way of describing it.
Indeed. It's weird how these metal songs can just turn a bad day into a mediocre one.
Indeed I will.
Haha, I'm a crazy one. Knives are fuuuun!
Ahh, I liked you sig! You should just resize it, maybe?

I have an obsession with the seventies. Well, maybe not an obsession, but a curious fascination.
I thought the story was genius. And that Winslow is the hottest thing to ever happen to the movies, but I digress.
Also, a hint: Try capitalizing your sentences, and using correct grammar.
...I've been having a rather...emotionally charged day, and things are bothering me an insane amout.

First of all, there was the whole exam-writing thing, which I know you are familiar with. Secondly, my Internet stopped working for almost a week. But it's back now!!! I totally missed it while I didn't have it. M'kay, I found the video, but it doesn't want to load for me. I guess it doesn't like me. xD So did I. I didn't think I'd even like PotP...at all. And I never thought I'd get so into PotO either, but now I'm a Phantom whore. Heh...must be a really interesting sight to see. *facepalm* I've been away so long that I don't know exactly what we were talking about lol Have fun with your knives. xD Thanks! I may try to resize it...at some point. By the way, merry three-days-before-Christmas! Edit: Okay, well the video of Marilyn Manson finally loaded for me. My opinion of him has changed as well. It's so funny because he's totally not what everyone expects him to be. He really is suprisingly smart and funny. And although I'm not exactly into his music, I think I now have more respect for him as a person somehow.

First off, sorry for my absence. All the desktop computers in the house died, and they were the ones connected to the internet. So I've been being the mechanic and trying out different components on the insides to some effect on my mom's computer and none, as of yet, on mine. It's rather annoying, yet, surprisingly, not so bad.
About Manson, yeah, he's the greatest. Well, among them. He's so ******** cute. I got his semi-fictionalized autobiography for Christmas and it's great. He's so funny.
I forget what we were talking about, too. Euh.
It's so poigniant how he loses his voice, though. I mean, it's so terrible, but you have to admit, it gives the movie balance between the sad, the horror, and the satire.

Yeah, I seem to have that effect on people.
Well, obsession is good. Spread the Winslow love.

If they remade POTP with Marilyn Manson...it would just rock. It would up Winslows sexy like, 50% ^_^ Even though once he dons the birdie mask and the black lipstick, he pretty much rocks anyway ...Imagine Marilyn Manson in that...drool... Anyway, what sold me on MM was his rendition of "This is Halloween". (^)_^

...You're scaring me a bit, there.
Okay, I think Marilyn Manson is the best candidate. By far.
However I think that William Finley is and always will be the sexy. Basically...in that role, he is absolutely everything I find attractive in a man, and I'm not even exaggerating. Marilyn Manson gets second tier, but William Finley as Winslow is downright perfect. Especially since the role was written for him. That can't be argued.
Personally, I think putting Manson in the role would lower the sexy (never thought I'd be putting the phrases "lower the sexy" and "Manson" in the same sentence since I got into him), though probably only by about 5%.
I doubt that they will actually choose someone even half-decent to play the role, though. They're probably going to choose some stud, give him glasses, and call him Winslow. And I will have the great urge to slowly prise someones eyes out with a fork.
...Wait, I don't think I mentioned that they are in fact working on a remake. I fear for what they are delving into.
But anyhow, it is rather funny, as the This Is Halloween song is how I got into him as well. A friend of mine sent me a link to hear it while I still thought he was an annoying, egotistical dickhead. Yet I listened to it to find out what the whole deal was about, then, interest piqued, I did a YouTube search on him and the rest is history.

*Runs into the thread* Hey Thorn...It's been so very very long, hasn't it?
On the Marylin Manson thing...I'm still not exactly into him and I sincerely doubt that I ever will be, but I'm not so strongly against him like I was before. He might make a good Winslow though...*shrugs* Ya never know.
Anyway, how's it going? This is the first time I've been on Gaia in ages.

Yeah, I like him, but I'm not into him as I am Winslow. Winslow is just so perfect for me, and it's practically impossible to beat him out.
It's going pretty well. Minus the major moodswings I've been having. I think I need to be getting out and doing things as I used to, but it's so friggin' cold that it's not really a good idea to do so for such an extended period of time. Plus there's the pressure from my mom to stay home and do things, and the art stuff I'm working on. I need a vacation.
Also I'm getting annoyed that there's so little PotP stuff out there. It's like, you can't just go into stores hoping for the random item and the like because there are so few, not to mention the fact that the ones out there are ridiculously expensive.
And it just sucks that Winslow isn't real. Dear god, that movie ruined my love life before I even had one. They present me with one perfect fictional character and suddenly nobody else will do. Curse you, Brian DePalma, curse you!
