Nils nodded. "Sounds good to me!" Taking a hold of Fire Dragon's hand, he started to head down the stairs towards the kitchen.

Amelia looked up and then back over at Kishuna and Siegell as the song began. She laughed, putting a hand over her eyes. "Aw, man... this'll be hilarious," she murmured, grinning.

(Okay! Beginner's luck, right? =D) "If his appearance is anything to go by, then he might just be able to give Siegell a run for his money..."
It might have just been the lighting, but something about Ed seemed... different from when he was talking to her earlier. You've had too much punch. He told himself. And then he remembered that he hadn't had any punch.

Siegell cocked a brow. There was... no music. There was an idiot singing badly. "This is ridiculous," Siegell muttered at last, and then he spun, pointing his glaive dramatically at Zelos. "Objection!" he declared, and then he offered his rebuttal by deftly swinging his weapon and slicing through the CD player.
"We'll have to have this contest some other time," Siegell murmured to Kishuna, pulling his glaive free from the broken remains of the CD player. "Someone strike the band back up."

Kishuna's eyes slightly narrowed as he heard the first bit of the song, but that was the only expression of his displeasure. Honestly, this was not a song. However, Siegell solved that problem for him by completely destroying the CD player. At this, he cracked a normal smile. "Now, there's something we agree on. That would be no proof of anything." He paused for a moment. "However. . . I think we have a problem now. What band are you talking about? I don't see any."

Amelia flinched as Siegell suddenly burst out loudly, followed promptly with a sure swing of his glaive that cut the CD player into two inoperable hunks of plastic and metal.
She put a hand against her collarbone once she had calmed down; her imagination had gotten her thinking that he was about to attack everyone else, too. Calm down, idiot.
"You sure don't have a sense of humor," Amelia told Siegell irately, though her voice was lowered so (hopefully) he didn't hear her complaining. It would've been too funny to hear him screeching like that, too.

Alihi blinked, seeing the CD player get sliced. "... Well, that wasn't expected. Ah, well," She turned back to Abel and shrugged. "That's too bad."
(( I've got to go. Nils is all yours if you need him, FD. ))

[[ Yup! And, love the punch line. *laughs* ]]
"Yeah, you're right — "
THCRACK.
"...Ohhh nooo. He did not..."
But he did. Siegell had cut through the CD player, and it appeared the competition was being postponed.
"Um...huh. Okay." Ed quirked an eyebrow, then leaned back against the wall. "Well, no complaints here. Wonder what the band'll play..." As she spoke, she resisted the temptation to glance at Valter without any reason.

As they entered the kitchen, Fire Dragon produced another martini for his glass. And another. And another. "So uh... Kaoru, what do you drink?"
"Water's fine, Hikaru. I don't drink. And... are you sure you should be having that many martinis, Hikaru." Nils questioned, worried that Fire Dragon would become drunk.

Ninian jumped in surprise when Siegell smashed the CD player, effectively ending the competition before it really began.
That was . . . unexpected.

Zelos flinched as the glaive came flying towards him, getting itself stuck in the CD Player thing. "Ah, crap. Look what you did, Siggy! You have to pay for that, now." However, the man's angry rant subsided as the music system jumped through songs, stopping on one in particular, from the same CD as the one that caused the rampant destruction in the first place. This song. Zelos twitched a bit at the irritating song, and ran a hand through his hair. With the other hand, he fried the sound system with some thunder magic. "Damn, that was annoying." He went over to the microphone again. "Uh, geez. Sorry about that, but we'll have to postpone that crazy contest until we can get a new sound system. So, uh, sit tight, I guess, and we'll be back in juuuuust a sec." His eyes drifted to Alihi making her way to the booth. With a spring in his step, he ran out and greeted the girl. "Well, hello, princess! Of course you'd be the one to get here first. Come in, come in." He gestured her to a nice, comfy looking chair in th booth, right near a large window. But then, he looked at Abel. "Oh. Who are you?" Zelos sneered, obviously only asking as a formality, even though he couldn't really care less.[[ AND WITH THAT, I LEAVE YOU ALL. UNTIL TOMORROW! ]]

Siegell stretched, swinging his lance around, and replaced it on his back as he took his mask and replaced it on his face. The band (which was playing from their spot in the dark corner before Rei unceremoniously took the DJ booth) nervously started back up as Siegell took another slow drink from his water bottle and smiled over at Ninian. "Hey, sorry about that. I have limits," he chuckled, shrugging slowly and scratching the back of his neck. "Anyway, I really need to talk to your brother about the flute thing, Amelia filled me in on what happened, and I just... I feel terrible," he sighed, rubbing his ear.

( =D )
"Well, that was... violent."
Inside, he prayed that the band played something slow... Something that he and Ed could dance to...

Ninian bowed her head to avoid meeting Siegell's eyes.
"Th-there's nothing to apologize for, Siegell," she stammered. "Did . . . did you really not know that the flute was cursed before you gave it to Nils?"
She knew she shouldn't talk to him. She knew she should go find Nils and apologize, but something told her to stay. If Siegell had known about the flute's true nature. . . .
But if he really did not know what the flute could do . . . doesn't that just prove that he's really not all bad? That, or he's more naive than he lets on. . . .
