"Well Sir Lyon, then we shall go." Damiane entered a cumbersome run, pushing herself as far as a human form would allow, in the hopes that they would make it to the city quicker.

Aoi's eyes began to grow wet with tears. She could not hold back her grief any further. She collapsed to the ground as though all the stress she felt suddenly exploded out of her in a stream of tears.
"Why is this happening? I feel so helpless." Aoi said pathetically. Two people she called friend were horribly sic and she could do nothing about t in the end.

Gabriel frowned. "She went out into the storm?" he asked shaking his head. "I thought she had more sense than that." Gabriel looked up at Kamui. He stood, going to check on him. "Kamui, please stay calm. you need your rest." the doctor said. sighing he sensed someone outside the door. "Sheena, could you-" The girl suddenly burst into tears. The doctor jumped, not expecting this. "You outside the door, come in." He commanded going to help Aoi.
He helped her up onto a chair. He tried to calm her. "Dear you did nothing wrong, thank you for taking them inside back at my home. I am glad you are not sick as well my dear, or are you sick?" he asked rubbing her back. "You came with them here, you followed out of worry, what kind of friend would you be if you didn't do that." He smiled at her. "Please stop the tears, tears make this doctor very nervous. He can stand being around blood to the goriest amount, but tears are not something I can take." He gently wiped her tears away.
Bella wiggled in the bed she lay in. She coughed again, and shivered. Gabriel slowly got up to change out the rags he had on both their foreheads. He tucked the blankets around his daughter. "It will just take some Sheena.

Kamui had troubles doing just as Doctor Gabriel had said. His heart still continued to race almost like it was racing time itself. It seemed that even with the telling of him to calm down it was no enough. He was still having troubles. He tried to calm down but something was wrong and he couldn’t breathe right.

Thomas stretched his wings for a brief moment, then quickly folded them back up again. "No thanks doctor! I'm fine out here. Don't wanna get sick, you know," he laughed loudly. Are you alright, my friend? I came to see you, just like you said, he thought manically. A nervous little giggle escaped him. I'm so happy we can have fun together now. So, so happy.

Gabriel sighed shaking his head. He didn't know what he could do for Kamui. the battle for energy was far more internal than he knew. "Kamui, please tell me what you need. How can I help you?" Gabriel asked. He didn't know what to do about the boy outside the rood either. "You cannot catch what they have."

“Chi…”, that was all Kamui could say before it seemed that his body went into true chaos. What he used up was his chi with which helped him survive. He began cave at that time as his heartbeat this time began to stop instead of his breath. It sounded almost like when he said the word chi he meant it. He used his chi to not only set Aoi free earlier at the cost knowing it could kill him, but to protect Bella from the cold by giving her his coat.

Aoi wiped at Sheena's eyes with the palm of her hands. Even though Bella's father made her nervous he was a kind man when he was not angered.
Suddenly Kamui's heart stopped as did his breath. Aoi heard the high pitched warning as his heart didn't beat anymore. She went to leave Sheena to find her trying to hold her still. Aoi pushed and found her self free once more but the strain of her freedom was intense as she lunged into Kamui.
'I will not let you die Kamui-sama. Don't you dare die on me!' Aoi said now that his weakened state allowed her to possess his body. She willed his heart to beat once more and did her best to make him breath. She was desperately trying to save him unaware of what the world around was doing.

Kamui would cough a few times before breath would come back to him and his heart beat return. It was a close call, but someone or something returned him from death. Kamui knew it had to have been Aoi’s doing. He’d thank her later for it. He just didn’t have the necessary chi to keep fighting was his battle. He would not die on Aoi though, he did not want to see her cry anymore.

If she could exhale she would in relief as Kamui's heart began to beat again and his lungs began to fill with air. She felt so warm inside his body. She wasn't sure if it was his fever or if it was natural but the warmth was apparent. Aoi forced her self to leave Kamui's body and return to Sheena.
Now back in Sheena's body Aoi walked over to Kamui and helped dab his brow.
"Thank you for your kindness Doctor Sparrow. I will try to remain calm." Aoi said as Sheena smiled.

The doctor watched Sheena with interest. She had changed so suddenly, and about the time Kamui came back she was up and moving. When the alarm has sounded his own heart had nearly stopped. Shivering the doctor remembered that his daughter too was still sick. This strange man with his fluctuation in health had distracted him.
Gabriel looked over at his daughter. His face cleared and a look of shocked fear placed itself over his expression. His daughter lay on the hospital bed, her complexion very pale, like a sheet. The doctor moved forward slowly placing his warm hand against her cold cheek. Was she already gone? Tears filled the doctor's eyes. Had he been too concerned for the other patient that he forgot all about his only daughter? He lay his forehead against hers. There was silence in this life for a moment. Nothing else mattered. And in this briefest moment he heard a small puff of breath come from his daughter. Overjoyed he fumbled with his stethoscope. He heard her heart beats, but faintly.
Gabriel removed the blankets from his daughter. He quickly removed her shirt as well as his. He checked the fluids that were being put into her, making sure they were still warm and that the tube had no kinks in it. He carefully lifted Bella up into his arms. Laying back in the bed with her pressed against him he covered the two of them with blankets. His daughter was so cold, it was like having a statue laying with him. "Bella dear, you must get better. I am sorry, so sorry." He kissed her head, and ran his hands over her arms. "Let us get you warmed up." The small puffs of air was all he got for a response. Her mind was not in this room, her body was nearly an empty shell.

Kamui continued to fight for his life. His concerns for Bella, Aoi, and Sheena being too great; his love for Aoi and Bella being greater. His eyes remained closed as it seemed he had fallen into a comatose state. He continued fight there.

Sheena/Aoi looked up from Kamui. The room had gotten very cold it seemed as those she cared for were in serious trouble.
"D-doctor...is there anything I can do to help?" Aoi said meekly from within Sheena's body.
She would possess Bella like she did Kamui but something about Bella prevented Aoi from entering her. As a matter of fact Bella gave off an almost tangible presence that made her seem solid to Aoi even in ghost form.

"All I can say is try to keep Kamui's fever down, and try to think of a way that we can fix his chi." Gabriel said smiling reassuringly at Aoi. "You are doing so well tonight, I thank you for your help." Gabriel said adjusting himself. Bella was starting to feel warmer by his side.

Aoi nodded with Sheena's head. She reapplied the wash cloth with more water to help Kamui stay cool. She pondered how to restore Kamui's Chi. She has never seen someone deplete their own reservoir so serious in the past.
Aoi had only one thought and knew doing so would probably upset both Bella and Kamui offering what was left of her spiritual presence and infusing it with Kamui own chi. She would only do such a drastic action in a worse case scenario.
