Just wanted to check in on all the expecting ladies. How far along is everyone now? Anything new going on?
I'm 33 weeks today. Tetravus and I went to childbirth classes last week. I think they were more helpful to him than they were to me. We have well-baby class tonight. We're supposed to have another next week, but it doesn't look like we're going to get to go because of one of Tetravus's new jobs.

I'm at 21 weeks.
I can feel the little bugger moving around in there like crazy. It likes to kick/punch me in the diaphragm. If my feet are even SLIGHTLY inclined over my head it'll wedge itself right in my diaphragm and I'll breath in and BAM all my air is just thrust right out of my lungs involuntarily. It thinks it's funny.
I keep saying it because I don't have an ultrasound until the end of this month. (I have to call closer to the end of the month to confirm the time and date with the lab).
I still get sick about every third morning. It's not nearly as bad though. But I don't think I still need the medicine because I'm gaining weight back (I ended up losing 13 lbs), and if I'm not so sick I don't want to have to feel so groggy and tired all the time from the medicine.
I just bought a fantastic body pillow from Bed Bath and Beyond, if you go make sure to get the one that says "Overfilled" and "Especially good for Expecting Mothers" last night's sleep was BLISS.

Congrats on making it past the halfway point, Nopen!
Boo likes to breakdance on my bladder lately. Even though that's not fun, I think I prefer that to getting kicked in the diaphragm. That does not sound pleasant!

Last night was the second time this happened, but first time my mother felt it. the baby kicked. actually put on a little show. i was laying down getting ready to go to sleep then i felt it. i put my hand over my belly button area, and it happened again. i waited and then it happened again, so i figured if it was still going on i could show my mother. i went to her and put her hand there and said wait for it.... and it kicked. my moms face lit up b/c she missed the first time it kicked.
it was so weird. my friend's way of discribing it was as if someone flicked you from the inside, and thats how it felt, but..... different.
well i was tired so i just kind of rocked my body around hoping i will make it fall asleep b/c its hard to sleep with it moving like that.

my random question is: I am 21 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and i still have an inny belly button, however i have a very long torso and extreamly wide hips for someone that has never had a child before (they stayed the same so far). 20 weeks pregnant is when it happens according to the "what to expect when you are expecting" book.

I also have an insanely long torso. My belly button is sometimes an innie, sometimes flat, and sometimes an outie, just depending on how Boo is positioned. I think it started sometimes being an outie right around the beginning of third trimester for me. I don't think everyone ends up with an outie though.

I'm 18 weeks today. So far I've not had a happy pregnancy. Really bad morning sickness, and really bad backpain. Thought I was over the morning sickness, but today while eating in a restuarant I had to run to the bathroom. >_< It was not fun.
Pretty sure I'm having a girl, I'll find out for positive hopefully this coming Friday. Rachel Lynn for a girl. And then the day after on Saturday I'm getting married. ^_^

hey ladies just sneaking back in to visit my fav thread.... hope you don't mind. I_am_Maleficent my random question is: I am 21 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and i still have an inny belly button, however i have a very long torso and extreamly wide hips for someone that has never had a child before (they stayed the same so far). 20 weeks pregnant is when it happens according to the "what to expect when you are expecting" book. I've had two babies and my belly botton never popped out and I two have a long torso, my belly got huge, like people asking if it was twins or if I was due when I had three months left.

Yeah. I'm still alive. I just haven't been on Gaia often... No offense, but most of this place is kinda dull after the first month or two. This guild is the only one i'm still actively checking threads at.
As for an update, I'm now about 20 weeks pregnant and looking big. I guess that's to be expected when you're only 5'2" tall though. Baby's kicking and moving around, though it's hard to feel all the time. I keep getting the best results when I'm yoga-ing or sitting or laying quietly with CultureSpy.
I'm excited that I still seem to be having the symptomless pregnancy other than the occasional mild mood swing, something not totally unheard of before I was pregnant.
Oh, and we're still not wanting to know if it's a boy or girl. We're even skipping the ultrasound.

Congrats on having a great pregnancy so far, Forest! We thought about skipping our 20-week ultrasound, too, since we didn''t want to find out the sex of the baby. However, we decided it was best to go ahead and do it to make sure the baby looked healthy. They can detect alot of problems that way and if there is anything wrong, you and the doctors can be prepared beforehand. Unfortunately, Tetravus did end up finding out the sex of the baby from the ultrasound because he looked up to soon. Oh well.
It looks like we have a new member for this thread. biggrin (If you don''t know who it is, look in the TTC thread.)

Well, I'm 14 weeks along... I don't really have much more to add, though.
I don't want to know the gender of our child either, but we shall see what happens. Hopefully it won't be too obvious on the ultrasounds, because I won't be able to resist looking at the little darling.
I don't know if I've felt movement or not.. occasionally around my navel I feel stuff that feels like normal stomache movements... sometimes like a flutter there.. which I always got before I was pregnant, sooo... dunno. Oh, and my tummy has been slightly upset for a bit, so I think that's causing the fluttering.
I also am not showing very much (as I had gained a bit of weight in my stomache before I got pregnant, I can't see much difference).

I'm going to find out next week. Lots of people are all "BUT THE SURPRISE OMG" at me when I tell them I'm finding out, but just like some people want the surprise I really really need the planning. I can't go out and buy nuetral colors etc. I wouldn't buy a stitch of anything and I'd be sitting around my whole pregnancy wondering if it was a little boy or girl. Seriously I NEED to know.
Also as for showing, I feel like a whale, I'm just carrying all around in the front this time. I remember still wearing my jeans with a little hair tie looped around the button at this point with Lissa. Now Each day I'm in super dismay as my shirts creep up and I can't buy any longer shirts! gonk

Nopen, I can definitely understand wanting to know so you can plan. I kind of worry that if I found out that I would be one of the few people where they got it wrong and then I'd have to deal with redoing a nursery and taking back a whole bunch of stuff. I think I might've connected a bit more to the baby if I knew though since I would be able to call him/her Zoe or Liam instead of Boo which is a fun little nickname but isn't a real name. Anyway, I can definitely see both sides to finding out. I originally planned to but changed my mind. It has been fun torturing people who really think they should know right now! rofl Here are a couple of websites for our pregnant ladies: Contraction Log Generator: You just have to push a start button at the start of each contraction and a stop button at the end and it'll keep record of your contractions. ExpectNet Guessing Game: You can set up a game for people to guess the stats of your baby. It's pretty fun to see what people guess.
