Fisk's attention shot towards his door as the large metal slabs were suddenly kicked in. He scowled at the young girl's comment a moment, but such comments weren't exactly strange to him. And with her mentioning 'Webbs', he assumed she was referring to that annoying Wall Crawler that made it a habbit to get on his nerves. "Indeed." he said to himself in a low tone. "What can I do for you?" he said a bit louder.

Kara crossed her arms, her face growing serious. "You can tell me whether or not you gave the Rhino a bomb this afternoon." She paused expectantly for a split second, and then continued. "And I can hear heartbeats; I'll know if you're lying. Not that I believe you would even think of trying anything of the sort," she added, with a sudden return to her easy-going smile.

"My suspicions were correct! There is a Kryptonian here! Oh, but so is Comrade Shocker? Now Comrade, I really need to deal with Fisk right now, can we deal with this later?"
Commissar readied the piercing gun to fire as soon as Shocker unleashed another blast. These piercing rounds could pierce through his vibration waves and hit him directly, but Commissar only had one bullet for such a gun and had to make it count. Commissar lifted his right hand out of his pocket and fired the small pistol that was in his hand, directly at Shocker.
"Guns don't work on me!"
Shocker fired both of his Vibro-Smashers again towards the Commissar. Shocker wasn't worried for Wilson Fisk to be in trouble; heroes didn't kill anyone and Shocker was given orders by Fisk to stop anyone who was an assassin from entering his office; a girl with a cape wasn't exactly assassin material. When the waves of vibration fired forward, the bullet was unmoved by them and grazed the top of Shocker's right shoulder. He was in disbelief of how a bullet made it through both a vibro blast and his built in vibration shield generator.
"I see your realize the special quality of my weapon? I could have aimed at your heart with ease Comrade, but I like you and you're lucky about that. Now step aside or I will kill you."
Commissar was bluffing; he had no more piercing shots left on him, but Shocker didn't know that and that was what the Commissar was hoping on.
Shocker was hesitant to obey what the Commissar had to offer, but his right arm was in too much pain in order to function and Shocker couldn't fight with one arm crippled. Shocker wasn't known for giving up and he had a reputation to keep, so he bluffed too.
"Fine, I'll get out of your way, but for fifty grand; twice as much as what Fisk was paying me."
Shocker was counting on the fact he was still quite dangerous with only one functional arm, making his bluff counteract with the Commissar's bluff.
"Fine, now step aside."
The Commissar reached into his pocket and tossed Shocker a bag that sounded like it had money in it. The Commissar had no use for the gun he had and holstered it under his cloak. As Shocker was opening the bag, the Commissar kept walking past him and slowly making his way to Fisk's office.
Shocker took awhile to open the bag with only one hand since his other was a bit too crippled to move at the moment, but when he finally opened the bag, he was in shock; Russian Rubbles. The b*****d paid him in Russian Currency! What the hell was Shocker going to do with fifty thousand dollars of Russian Rubbles? Cash them in for real American cash of course. Seeing as he was paid for today, Shocker carried his bag of loot and started for the stairs; there was no way in hell he was going to get caught on the elevator.

//ooc: Oh, active threads again! // Warp made his way down the hall carefully. He'd taken about half of the vile, just enough to give him his normal energy back for a while. Whatever had been going on downstairs sounded like it had ended...but now something was happening upstairs. Things were getting a little too dangerous here to be able to stay. ...but still, he was curious. He turned a moment to glance at the stairwell. Well, he had his energy back...if need be he could race out of there if anything did happen. He didn't know if Riku was back yet or not, and he didn't want to just leave him if he was. After a moment of thought, Warp turned and headed up the stairs.

As Shocker made his way down the stairs so he could quickly leave Fisk Towers with his bag of Russian currency, his path seemed to be in the way of a man dressed in black. Shocker was by no means face to face, but he could see him walking up the stairs a floor below him. Shocker wasn't in any condition to fight with his right arm injured and his left arm was carrying the Russian money. Shocker would have to take his chances on that floor he was currently on and headed through the door in a rush, not wanting to loose any of his money. With a swing of his right arm and an activation of his vibro-smasher, Shocker ripped the door ahead of him wide open and rushed through it, leaving the stairs behind and whoever was coming up them. He jumped out the window and landed with a thud in a dumpster. Not phased for lnog, Shocker jumped out and kept running, trying ot get back home to fix his wound. ((Exit Fisk Towers))

Fisk stared at her a moment, not exactly what he was expecting. "Rhino? I'm sorry, but I haven't even seen the man for months, let alone make contact with him." he replied with his usual calm expression. He would have to file that bit away though...that could be one more weapon in his growing group. Octavious watched the two leave, then crawled inside the room more. Well, looked like Shocker was working for Fisk. No matter, the other man would be more of a concern at the moment. He began makng his way towards the stairs after the man. Chaos paused in a hallway and looked around a minute. No sign of anyone yet. He senced something from above him, growled and whirled around, looking up at Venom. "Back already? And empty-handed..." Venom said with a smile.

Kara's fists clenched automatically. He wasn't lying, but... That calm expression, those cool eyes, the stupid bald head; it was as though Lex had put on a few hundred pounds. "Still, since I'm here," she said, her voice extremely pleasant, especially considering the fairly violent thoughts flitting through her mind, "You are the heavyweight of the crime world -pun very much intended- so it can't hurt to take you out of the equation, can it?" Without waiting for an answer, she started to walk toward his desk, her pace measured.

Fisk gave her a small grin, still relaxed. "You and countless others, young lady. Threats do nothing to me." he replied cooly. He could press the button under the table to call up some of his other 'employees', but he doubted that the girl would allow him to so much as move. Chaos shot him a look. "I'll get her when I feel like it. Not like you did any better, coward." he growled before continuing through the building. He wasn't in the mood to deal with this. He let Sapphire go because he was too tired to deal with Spider-Man, ran into Hotspur, he was just frustrated all the way around.

Ooooh yes. This one was a Lex clone. Kara's eyes narrowed, though her expression otherwise remained cheerful. "Who said anything about threats?" She leaned over the desk, though not far; it didn't take much to get down to this man's eye level. She was fairly small, and he was huge. Her blue eyes were cold. "I don't threaten. I decide what I'm going to do, and then I do it. It would be more accurate to call it... thinking out loud. You might not have had anything to do with the bomb, but I know your type; you've been making trouble somewhere. So..." She glanced at the name plate on his desk, and her eyes widened briefly. "Wilson... Seriously? Wilson?" She shrugged. "Wilson, we're going to go on a little trip. 'The Butterball and Me'. This is going to be so much fun!"

Fisk kept his eyes fixed on the girl, kept his cool expression, but the tone of his voice seemed to sink to a slightly more threatening level. "Unfortunately...with all the commotion going on in my building. I'm afraid I can't afford to make any little trips. If you have something you'd like to disscuss, you'll have to do it here." he said as he picked up his diamond tipped walking staff. Not threateningly, just as if her were going to get up in a moment. Chaos could sence Venom following him and growled. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with this. With all the damage that he'd seen on the building, he was more interested in making sure his friend was alright. He shot down the hall, then screeched to a hault. He gave a quick glance back at a doorless room, whith what he though had a blue and red blonde inside. He quickly backtracked and stood inside the doorway a moment. The way she was staring him down, it didn't look like a friendly meeting. And heck, if he hadn't promiced to help him get back to his world, Chaos could care less what happened to the giant ball of ugly over there.

Kara shook her head sadly. "No can do; I'm afraid you're simply going to have to make time," she said firmly, and with that, she reached across the desk, grabbed the back of his suit jacket, and started rising into the air. "Your business can do without you until this whole mess is over... but if it can't, and it crumbles in your brief absence, I don't think anyone will be wringing their hands, do you?"

As the girl grabbed him and lifted him off the ground, he rose his staff a bit, ready to use it. He glanced past her a moment and relaxed again. Chaos lept onto the wall and shot himself onto the ceiling above the girl. "Sorry, but I need the big guy around until I get my ride home." he said with a slight growl in his voice. He didn't really want to be taking any one on right now. Truth told he was still tired from his last fight. But besides Sapphire, this guy was his closest way home. "You'll just have to wait on that."

Kara glanced up at the thing on the celling, and then reluctantly dropped the enormous, overstuffed Kingpin back into his equally enormous, overstuffed chair; she was not gentle about it. "If you move, I'm freezing you solid," she said in a sugary sweet voice. Of course, she was very unlikely to do any such thing, but he didn't know that; fighting people who knew nothing about you certainly had its perks. With that, she turned her attention back to the blue creature. "Hey, it's the unstoppable Diarrhea Man!" she said, raising her eyebrows, "... Yeah. I really don't have time for you, actually. Go back and play tag with the Russian, or something."

Chaos glared at her, the spikes in his back grew longer. "I really don't have time for you either, girl. So why don't you make it easier for both of us and hassle the man in the suit outside. Do your little good deed for the day and still have time to play with your pom poms." he growled.Fisk grinned. He didn't move, he wouldn't have to at the moment.
