Mel laughed at the other's enthusiasm. "Oh good! Well feel free to have more, or to try some others. We have plenty."

Tunda instead picks up the bag he had just taken cookies from and snuggles it to his chest. "T-these ones are the only ones that caught the interest of my nose... I-is it alright if I take them with me..?" He asks in a soft voice, looking quite prepared to set the bag back down and never touch it again if the answer was no.

"Eh, you mean back to your room? I suppose so... It's your room, for now, so you get to do whatever you want there." He pointed to the bag of cookies now clutched to Tunda's chest. "That includes eating cookies in bed," he chuckled. Then he stepped forward and grabbed the other bags from the tabletop and carried them off. "I'll just return these to the cupboard then."

((XD He'll probably nom the whole bag once alone in his room, then suffer through his first sugar high ever. *snicker*))
Tunda sighs in relief, reaching into the bag and snagging another cookie, nibbling on it slowly, a low purr emanating from his scrawny, beat-up frame.

(( Oh fun! >D He's so adorable with the cookies. Dx <3 ))
Mel returned to Tunda, tilting his head. Was that a purr he was hearing? Fantastic! He grinned. "So, what would you like to do while you digest? By the way, relaxing and doing nothing is a perfectly reasonable response. It's just that you probably don't want to do it in the kitchen."

((Hehe... Isn't he though? <3))
Tunda looks up again, cookie half-hanging out of his mouth again at the question, the purr cutting off as soon as he was spoken to again, almost as if he had been beaten for purring as well. Gulping down the rest of the cookie, he looks down at the floor, tail swishing slightly behind him. "I... don't know. I've never actually had a chance to relax unless I was recovering from a major beating..." He says, ears quivering slightly as he looks back up at Mel. "W-what do you think would be good for me, since I can't really go too far under my own power...?" He really didn't want to be a burden to the dragon, whether the dragon said he was a burden or not, Tunda still felt like one.

"You know... you don't have to reply immediately. If someone asks you a question it is your right to finish without aspirating in the process," he chuckled. "It's a cookie. Enjoy it." He thought about the possibilities. "Oh... I recommend lounging about in a place of your choice. You're going to be doing it a lot for a while while you heal, so you may as well have a place that you feel comfortable and safe. You could go sit in the TV room if you want to deal with the others... or you could sit in your room... or you could go outside..."

Tunda's ears perk up at the thought of going outside and he nibbles slightly on another cookie in thought. Looking back at Mel, he says in a quiet voice, "C-Can we g-go outside? I-is there a g-garden to s-sit in?"

"Well sure we can!" the dragon exclaimed. "We have several gardens. There are different tastes here so we have to cater to that. We have herb and vegetable gardens, wildflowers, a rose garden, a trail through the woods... we're working on an authentic Japanese garden with a Zen garden to one side..." He trailed off. "You probably want to have something else to drink if you're going to eat a bunch of those," he commented, pointing to Tunda's cookies.

He blinks and looks down at the bag of cookies, almost as if he'd forgotten it was there in his request of going to the garden. "A-O-okay... S'more t-tea p-please?" He asks, watching Mel out of the corner of his eye once again.

"That's fine," the dragon nodded, moving back toward the stove. "Same one, or would you like something else?"

"Same please?" He says softly, giving another small, almost unheard purr. He was glad that he was starting to be somewhat like a normal person, but he knew it would be a long time before he ever actually asked for something without being prodded for it.

"All right." Mel got some of the same tea from the drawer. He grabbed a fresh larger mug for Tunda, using two bags, and waited for the water to boil. "I'll take you the way that requires the least amount of walking. It's quiet out there."
(( LOL! Sending this post got me a blue giftbox. Thanks Tunda! x3 ))

((lol Awesome! <3
Tunda:: question ))
Tunda smiles and nods, watching every move Mel made so that he could take care of himself when his leg started to feel better. He still felt bad about Mel taking care of him, even if the other is the one that offered. "O-Okay. A-and... T-thank you."

"Well of course Tunda. I'm happy to help out," he grinned. He had gone back to the stove and was glancing over his shoulder at the pokemon. The kettle began to whistle and he poured the water, set the kettle aside, and walked back to Tunda. "I think what I'm going to do is take the tea and cookies out for you. That way I can help you back out there. Sound okay?"
