Rosa left the storage room and entered the main hall, though no one was here. She checked the bridge and several other rooms, but got the same result. Rosa scanned the Atlantis's interior for any sign of anyone, but only a few stray crew members were found on board. "...They must be out currently..." Rosa said to herself as she looked out the window at the town outside. Her eyes flashed back to blue as Kira took over control for the moment being, she hesitantly exited the Atlantis and stood watch nearby it. Rosa noticed several people staring and pointing at her as they passed by -apparently not many of them have seen a robotic humanoid such as herself-, she just ignored them and waited patiently for everyone to return.

The man took another swig of his green beverage with lethal amounts of alcohol in it, smiling.
(jeopardy music... do dee do do do dee doo... Forgive my impatience. My comp hasn't experianced any forum errors ever since it stopped running music files... crying I have to RP in silence instead of the intense instrumental music I prefer...)

The man smiled, "don't you have the Atlantis? what would you ever need my little Dark Eagle for? However, I do have... some connections, in case you may want to , I don't know, give your ship repairs, refuel, re-arm... something along those lines. My little Dark Eagle barely holds four... If you would like, however, I could always buy a new ship... I do have the funds from my last venture... Allow me to introduce myself, I'm the one and only Jad. Perhaps you heard about my successful reclaiming of the Aphrodite? Maybe not... It was about a hundred years ago..."
He laughed. The man didn't look like he'd hit 25 yet, but his name alone drew stares and murmurs from other patrons in the bar.
"There is a catch though. The Midas, I hear, is in hostile alien territory. Luckily I can wire my little Eagle's stealth drive, yes, I have one, into another, bigger ship, and we can sneak in... oh so quietly..."
He took another swig of green liquid, draining the mug, "Barkeep! More Vaxxian Death Drought!" He paused, "I'll gladly split it with you guys, no problem, but we'll need to make a move... soon. The Empire's got wind of this little baby, and they... let's just say the Queen'll be able to buy Eros with this haul..."
(Of course Jad is exaggerating, there's no way the ship could be worth that much, right? however, he is famous... (once gaia allows his profile posted...) )

"aha! Loyalty to your captain! I salute you, but if you use my ship you'll need me. It refuses to work for anyone else... the Empire tried to take her once... I'll be more than glad to help you get her back, with her bodyguard, but -ahem- the kid might have to stay here... As long as you don't leave the planet we should be good." Jad got up from his chair, downing the new mug in seconds, "good stuff. Now, let me show you to my little bird. Spaceport pad 42. life ,the universe, and everything, you know." He grinned and strolled out of the bar.

Dr. October made her way to Iron Blood's room, then instantely left. Where did he go?! She asked one of the nurse's, who shrugged and muttered "Not my problem" as she looked down at some other patient's folders. Oooh, if I didn't like this job, I'd quit. Jesien growled, walking off to find Iron or Nina.

Far, far away, in an obscure corner of Empire space:
Dr. Len stepped in front of a massive screen, hitting a button and speaking into the microphone, "Priority A-1 message to the King."
"I would, but I doubt a technician like yourself would have such knowledge of our classified information. This is an A-1 prio-"
"Sentinel Prime. Look it up under 'Top Secret!' Do we have to do this every time?" the scientist sighed in irritation.
"Good." Len turned to his assistant, "Rin, please get the harness. His majesty will be extremely interested in it."
The assistant nodded, removing some sort of strapped device from a safe.
(We haven't heard from his Majesty yet, have we?)

The King was sitting up in his throne room, sleeping actually in his chair when one of his servants tapped him on the shoulder. "You have a call, sir. From A Dr... Len, I believe." The King yawned. "Put him through."
The King pressed a button on his throne and a holographic screen appeared in front of him.
"Dr. Len... What is it now?" He was grumpy. His Queen watched in silence.

Dr. Len stood onscreen, his assistant in the background averting her eyes while Len wore the harness.
"Your Majesty! My Queen! After long years of research, I have finally managed to produce a working version of the Project-T stardrive. as promised, instantaneous transportation through the fourth dimension through tesseracts! Behold! The amazing power of this technology!"
Len pressed a button on the harness. the straps lit up blue, and pulsating lights flashed on the device. it began to hum, then stopped humming altogether. Len frowned, flashing an apologetic smile at the king.
"I assure you we still have some bugs, but we're wor-" Len suddenly vanished into thin air, leaving the assistant onscreen alone. her eyes widened.
"Doctor Len? Oh no... Erm..." she smiled nervously, "The computers state the test was successful... but it also says he left Empire space instead of jumping across the room..."

The kind sat wide eyed staring at the screen. "Gad zooks! Did you see that?! Where in heavens did he go? Amazing! Think of the possiblities my dear!" He smiled at his queen, who smiled back faintly. "Yes dear... I do hope that poor scientist is alright. Pray he transported to a planet with air..."

Rin bowed to the king, "yes. Dr. Len believes it will revolutionize our stardrives, enabling us to place the full power of the navy instantaneously without sacrificing internal protection. Unfortunately, Dr. Len was wearing the device, and it only had enough power for a single jump... luckily our coordinates... oh no... we misplaced a decimal... ehehe... well, he's on a habitable planet alright... took him right to Eros...

Len found himself in what appeared to be a starship, completing his sentence to Rosa, "-king out the problems with i- whoa! It-it worked! Wait... where am I?!"
