Anna smiled at him with her signature blush rising to her cheeks. It was becoming more of a challenge for her not to silence him with another kiss, but they were technically risking enough by being alone in her office.

"You are not a beast, Pyralis. You are a charming, handsome gentleman straight from the pages, and yet so much better than fiction. You're my dream come true." She sighed, loving the way his red eyes were always clear and glittering.

Anna chuckled softly, nodding. "Yes, we're fine. Nothing to worry about. Though, you know, for our first little bump in the road, that didn't last long at all."
It had been such a quick little misunderstanding. She had watched humans get in fights over the strangest things, and seen people in other realms hold grudges for ages, but they had taken an afternoon. Hopefully all their future disagreements would be as trivial.

"Yes, I suppose you do." Anna broke away from him, bringing her hands into his and taking a step back. "Thank you, though, for coming." With a warm smile, Anna gave a light laugh. "I love you, Pyralis."

She began to walk him to the door. Although she truly wishes he didn't have to go, she knew they were meant to be staff of the school during office hours, not lovebirds.

But that could wait for just one more moment. "One more kiss before you leave, though?"

"I did only ask for one, you rogue," she said with a wry smile. Anna watched him leave until he could no longer be seen around the corner of her doorway. That had been the first time that they had kissed for so long, and twice. Were things moving too quickly, she wondered?
The blush on her cheek thought, maybe. But, the very frightening and odd connection they shared enjoyed his company and kisses. She would just have to make sure they behaved themselves... it was a bit much for the days they had known each other.

Scarlett nervously knocked on the office door, her brown hair pinned up in loose curls upon the top of her head. The Fairchilds, her parents, had assured her that this was the best place for her; she would be happy here. As she had entered, she had to admit the campus was lovely. She knocked once more before allowing herself in. Peeking her head through the crack she had opened, "Hello?

Scarlett looked at the envelope in her hands and decided she would just wait outside the door. Gently shutting it she slid down the wall until she was sitting with her legs to the side of her. Mindlessly, she continued to fidget with a small black locket tied securely around her neck. It kept wriggling and she just sat there petting it, waiting for the principle to not be busy.

Scarlett smiled nervously and stepped in, waiting politely for the young woman to follow her. Usually a calm person, she found herself suddenly overwhelmed with anxiety. "I'm sorry I'm here so early, but my things....well, there are a lot of them." She grimaced apologetically before sitting down. "I was told to come see you directly. I'm Scarlett Fairchild, Southern Indiana."

Scarlett took in her surroundings and felt slightly less anxious at the unitimidating surroundings.

Scarlett shook her head quickly. "No thank you, M'am. I don't eat...." Feeling a blush rise to her cheeks she quickly rephrased her reply. "I don't generally eat, it's odd but I don't really need to. I eat maybe a meal every few days and I'm fine." Something was odd about the woman. Scarlett couldn't put her finger on it, but something about her eyes hinted that there was something going on besides her usual routine. "My father and mother wished me to thank you for admitting me. I hope that I will fit in well here."

Scarlett nodded and quickly handed over the letter she had been folding and unfolding in her hands. Out of polite manners, Scarlett retrieved a cookie from the tin and began to nibble around the edges. "Thank you very much." It wasn't that Scarlett didn't like to eat, it was just that she felt like she couldn't. If she ate too frequently she would immediately feel guilty and-Scarlett shook her head. She didn't want to think about that so early in the morning.
