"I am never headed anywhere" Gunnison said. "Well I guess a place where I can stay without the feeling that theres a place better so I am always moving."

She finished and started cleaning her paws. She started thinking about the home smelling like rabbit,and attracting scavengers, so she decided to go get some flowers and put them in her den. "Hey,"she asked politely,"would you like to go pick some flowers with me?" She didn't want to over do it, but she liked company more than fish.(and she REALLY liked fish)

Tenshi trotted to a stream where, on the other side, was a beautiful patch of flowers. She turned around and said,"What are you waiting for? C'mon slow poke!" She dove into the stream. She found it to be deeper than expected (around 7 ft deep) and went under over her head.

Gunnison had never experienced water before today he hesitated then jumped in and floundered in the deep water rather undignantly.

She watched Gunnison come across stifling a giggle. When he came to shore,she started to pick flowers and carrying them in her mouth. "Seems like you haven't swam before.,"she said. "My mother just pushed me in the water and wouldn't pick me up. I had to swim or drown..."

He emerged and was wet and shivering "no I have never swam before I was born on the plains" Shaking ther wetness from his fur he went along and started picking flowers with her.

"Wait...How are we supposed to get back across with the flowers?,"she said,just realizing what a dumb action she had taken. "Maybe there's a log down there somewhere.,"she said hopefully. When they had gathered their flowers, she trotted down stream to find a sturdy log,but found a long branch that stretched across the water. She looked up at Gunnison and said,"Well,this is the only way across. You up for it?"

"Ya im up for it" he said gathering his courage why dont you go first ill watch for any other animals who might come along" he said trying to hide his fear from her.

"Okay", she said. She jumped up onto the limb and walked across skillfully. "C'mon Gunnison, it's sturdy. Just don't look down and walk sorta quickly."

Building up his courage he jumped on the log with incredible ease and then proceeded to walk across feeling proud of himself he didd notice the knot in the log tripping and falling in the water. Still holding on to the flowers he floundered and eventually made it to shore gasping for breath.

When Gunnison was ashore, Tenshi ran to him with concern. "Are you okay?,"she asked, dropping her flowers.
