Alice stared at the device and gulped. She suddenly felt scared. She hoped the machine wouldn't take away too much of her energy. She hugged her knees to her chest as she felt her net of electicity encompass her. She began feeling a little better about the situation. She looked at Maddie. "What do we do?" she mouthed.

The man led Maddie into the machine " ill start it on 5." he said and turned the nob to 5.
Maddie began to feel a sharp pain all over! she screamed. sshe new she would get hurt cause her power was unstable.

Mike heard her scream. he got through the door, ((by what means, i dont care.)). he shot electric charges at each guard, but kept running to where Maddie and Alice were.

Alice scrambled to her feet and ran towarrd Maddie. She studied the machine, trying to figure out how to turn it off. If she pushed the wrong button, it could get worse.

Mike got to where they were and, freaked out, said, "dont kill me, dont kill me, dont kill me. let me help." he directed this, almost in an exaggerated way, knowing that the man might think it directed at him.

the man heard her scream and came running. "ok ok its ok." he pushed it off and he watched her fall to the floor. "OK that probly means her energy is unstabl eor our machine cant handlk it. either way Alice your up."
Maddie fell to the floor grasping for breath.
"oh" the man said "since you wanna try it so much just sit down mine your after Alice."

Alice shook her head and knelt down next to Maddie. She turned to the man and glared at him with as enough anger to make any one cower with fear. "I don't think so. She needs medical attention now. Otherwise, I'm not helping."

"hoh" he sighed "ok ok ok!" he sent for a stretcher he picked up the girl an dhad them put her in the medicle room "shes in good care now your turn Alice and if your energy is stable it wont hurt at all. im right here if it hurts just tell me.and ill stop it." Then he thoght of maddie "or scream and by the way my name is Phil"
