"You're fine with words love, you simply don't give yourself enough credit." He'd keep his own stare glued to her eyes, though this comfort was beginning to fade. The thought of what the damned boy wanted was gnawing at the back of his head...something he needed to return for? Both Riot's quarters and the simulator were in more than lock down; even Kain with his amassed power couldn't enter without means only a being his body's components could summon. Still, what if he didn't want anything from either room...what if he wanted something...and he feared for the worst as he looked in to his love's eyes. Hell, the boy could return for something as Dorritos, or to try and kidnap her. He'd bare his fangs in full view at the thought and fail to allow a bit of dark energy surge from him. He'd come back in to focus with the glimmer of his loves eyes and get a grip, lowering his top lip and containing his energy.

"You don't need to go anywhere my love...as a matter of fact, I'd prefer you stay right here with me. I see no reason we can't share sleeping quarters, and I can simply leave that room to you for private use." He'd hold her tight, slipping his right hand between her shoulder blades. He'd then leave a bit of an imprint on her, one in the form of his family's seal. It might feel like an itch, but no more. It'd never show itself either, not until she was in danger, at which point this said marking would turn black and shine, summoning Kain himself on the spot, as well as any other living members of his family that bore the symbol. Ishado was indeed on of them, though he was still oblivious to his brother's existence.

"Draega, I need you to think something over. Sleep on it, but don't answer me one way or another until you're damn sure of your conclusion." He'd narrow his eyes a bit, then close them with a sigh. "Allow me to sire you; to turn you in to a portion of what I am. Allow me to remove the fear of ever losing one another from our minds; allow me to grant myself the power to keep watch over you to make sure that should you need me by your side, I can be their in an instant. Please allow me to turn you in to Weyward's very first hell spawn. You'll never neat to hunt; I've all the reserves one of my kind could ever dream of. Science had even allowed me to add flavor! But please, Draega...think it over. I'd never ask something so serious as this if I didn't love you with all my heart and if I didn't feel your life could benefit from it. Riot may be after you, and though Murasame, your Blessed Blade, will repel all negative attacks upon you...I'd rather not take any chances."

((Sorry for the OOC, but i have to say. This is all going wonderfully. Oh so delightfully all the characters are getting down time in pairs. And the next big thing is coming ladies and gents. Laughs like a maniac. Riot has just got his hands on a very very powerful ally that i think everyone has been under counting. But i have been watching him since his creation. Also there is one last matter for Riot to attend to here at the castle. But Kain ill let you rest and have some time alone before that. *Drifts away into the shadows smiling sadistically*))

((Thank you so very much for rubbing it in my face.))

Tori looked up at the big creature then decided to put it all on the line and hug it, gently.
"Calm down... please..."

A hug...well, this was confusing, but it'd distract the creature from the thought that literally had it's brain aching. It'd almost be a damn shame to kill such an affectionate woman...still, Kain had obviously sent her down as a trap and if he didn't follow through...well, Kain never could kill this creature, but he obviously did something to get it in that box. He hadn't really seen emotion shown to it like this since one of Kain's ex's...so, it'd hug her back, able to wrap both arms around her and rest them on opposite shoulders.

"I...called...Ha'Poultis! Teddy said...I am Ha'Poultis." IT was resisting urges to engulf her with his body and show her what a real supernova was...but he just couldn't. Instead, tears of blood would stream from it's beady little eyes and a black slime would drip form it's large nostrils. "Why..you...so nice?" This thing had the mentality of a 6-year old at max. Crying was pretty common.

"I am nice because..." she looked at the ground. "I'm nice because I've made things like you before. Some did not turn oput so well, and I was forced to.."
"Just shoot it, you dumb b***h! The thing's in pain!"
"B-but... I..."
"Give me the damn gun."

"To end things for them. And... you seem nice anyway." she smiled at it.

Draega's coy expression fell away, her playful game having withered on the vine. Instead now an odd shudder went down her spine as Kain proposed his request. Her mind, always active, always thinking, recoiled. Not out of fear of him, not out of fear of the request but at the word 'hell spawn' she felt her heart jolt with the memory of past pains. For a moment she became very pale and her eyes would take on a shine of pure horror deep and instinctual. Draega wished desperately that her mind would focus on Kain only. On his warmth and the weight of him beside her, but the scars of her past continued to ripple forth in her mind.

In her mind she was once more a little girl of five years old, dressed in a rich, golden satin and lace dress, running through the halls of the Newfame family's main house. Her golden shoes left little sounds upon the floor as she ran, mostly because every other step her black wings would carry her a flutter upward. Her white hair, shorter than it was now, hung around her shoulders in elegant and painlessly crafted curls. She was smiling, despite the grey sky outside the large and elaborate windows she ran past, because today she had finally been able to play Bach's Brandenburg Concertos No.5 correctly on the violin.

At last the beaming girl came to her father's study, though, instead of bursting in ( a thing she had been punished for many times before), Draega paused, took a moment to catch her breath, straighten her clothes and then, gently raised her hand to knock. At that exact moment she heard her father's voice from within the study, speaking harshly, and despite herself Draega leaned in to overhear.
"I tell you Barrick nothing good has come from keeping that child! I should have killed her the instant I saw those ghastly wings!"
Draega blanched her expressive blue eyes turning wide in pain, shock, and horror.
"Calm yourself brother. And I will tell you again, as I've told you quite a deal before, keeping the girl is good for publicity. It proves that HEC accept UH's as human beings. Even if they are a lower class of being. Perhaps if you train her up right she can turn out to be useful."
"Oh yes brother...YOU can say such things! But you do not have to live every day with that little hell spawn. That...filthy little demon who roams the halls and dares to call me 'father'! The whole thing makes me sick! "
"Please don't shout...we'd be lucky if it was only the staff that heard you whining as you are."
"And who could there be to hear us?! There is no one on the other side of this door!"
Draega, too stunned by the words and her father's loathing tone could not react fast enough as the door to the study fiercely swung open. And Draega...once so happy to share news with her father...now stared up at him with trepidation and fear at the hateful look in his eyes.
"So....not only are you a spawn of hell...you are a spy as well. Fine then. I shall show you how we Newfames deal with spies!" And then her father took her by the arm, dragging her back into the study she never again saw as warm and inviting.

At last she managed to shake the memories away. When at last she had settled she smiled up at Kain with warmth and love, wanting him to know, pleading for him to understand that her momentary lapse was not because of him.

"Kain...you are right...what you ask is not something that should be taken lightly. But I know that you only want to protect me. It would be a lie to say that I have not already made up my mind to your answer...but...I realize this is difficult for you to ask and so...I shall consider it again. Briefly. For now...Kain...my love..." she whispered the last, drawing her arms around him once more. "If I am here beside you...you have no need to worry. I never meant to leave you."

Micah instantly felt the fire and it roared inside him like it was family. He ripped the fire from the furnace ina way that would have scared most men. It swirled around him whipping the air and burning it. He relaxed like he was getting a massage. The fire began to swirl infront of him into a tight ball, he ripped more fire from the furnace enjoy it, the fire moved like music from a symphony.

"Oh thats perfect, but do please turn it up more." He laughed sickeningly. His dark side always came out when he played with fire.

Maya would smile, this was rather fun! Shooting her hands out, a few hundred barbed wires would locate each furnace turning it on. The lab of Hell was certainly bigger then she expected, summoning up her 'throne' she would sit herself down, crossing her legs as if she was a lady she listened to Micah's laugh it was rather hot..or was it Micah and not the furnaces?

She would shake away the thought, in her hands she would manifest a martini glass made of her barbed wire, inside the glass was a golden liquid, she took a sip and sighed deeply.

"Having fun my dear Micah? Michelle will be in quite soon perhaps I can interest you in a drink?"

In her other hand was another martini glass, though this one ha d a darker shade of red instead of gold it was simply a blackberry Merlot, nothing more... nothing less.

He'd smile and comb his fingers through her hair, not so much worried she'd drifted off in to her memories but rather what she'd seen there. Yes, he had psychic powers and reading someone's mind, even those of the most skilled telepaths with mental barriers was no more than throwing a stone to him. But, he had respect for her, something only one person in his life was ever allowed at any given time. She had complete immunity to his psychic powers. It was times like these he loathed such nobilities, as they'd only allow him to create an awkward atmosphere or keep silent, and silence he dreaded in his relationships.

"If you think you have your answer...then please, tell me now. If nothing else, I'd like to see how much a night's sleep truly does affect one's decisions." He'd brush his fingers through her hair again, then place his forehead to hers, starring to deep in to her eyes with his own fierce crimson rings. "Draega, tell me...when you delved back in to your past, what did you see? I can't read your mind...not anymore. But I know only so much about you, and I want to know all I can...please, share your thoughts and memories with me. In return, I'll tell you all the stories you could ever ask for. You've my word as Lord of this castle that they'll lull you right to sleep..."

Draega looked up at Kain and let her smile drift away as she once more looked away from him. She let out a sigh, deep and painful, though she settled into his grasp more, wanting to be comforted. "I would accept your offer Kain, I would like to say it is only because I love you and would hate to leave you...even in death...but that is not my only reason. I want to erase my past and start again. I have not lived a pleasant life. That was my main reason for joining the faction in the first place." she told him honestly...feeling selfish and guilty by the confession though she took a deep breath and told him exactly what she had been thinking of.

"My father...for the first five years of my life I thought he was the only one who truly cared about me. My mother had always been cold...and I knew she hated me. My elder sister would always tease me and make me do her homework or chores or tell the servants to make me care for her instead. So, although my father was strict and required a great deal from me I still thought that maybe one day I could make him smile with one of my accomplishments." She paused then and her eyes darkened as she once more relived the horror of the day her world had become so much colder than it had been before.

"Then one day I went to my father's study. I wanted to tell him about how I had mastered my newest violin piece. Bach's Concertos No. 5. But when I got there I heard him and my uncle Barrick talking about me. My father told him how he had wanted to kill me the day I was born. How I was a b*****d hell-spawn...a demon...born from an unfaithful woman most like. When he found me listening outside the door...it was like he suddenly no longer had a reason to hide. He dragged me inside...calling me a spy. It's almost ironic when I look back on it now." A sad sort of wry smile spread across Draega's lips briefly before it quickly fell away as she continued her tale. "That was the first time he himself clipped my wings. He burned them first...he knew they were more sensitive than any other place on my body...and back then I couldn't hide them the way I can now. After he burned them he sheared them off slowly. He told me the entire time that it was what I deserved for being born the way I was. "

Draega's body shuddered though she refused to shed any tears at the memory. "After that...I never again minded my sister's taunting or my mother's cold attitude. I was always too worried about when my father would come home and what new thing he find to punish me for. What new punishment he would come up with. I could never tell anyone...because he never allowed me to develop scars. No one would have ever believed me. I never even told Micah...just...you...and...HIM." She stole a glance at the metal bracelet on her wrist and raised it up to the light so that it shone of it's surface. "He was a boy who worked in the gardens...and was my first friend. I never even learned his name. He wanted me to run away with him...but I was too afraid. After my father learned about his scheme I was forced to hurt him. I never saw him again after that. "

Micah stopped for a second and looked back at Maya sitting on her throne. He smiled at her before speaking. "Please." He then turned back to the intense heat surrounding him, it was like hell and it was bliss. Micah stood up and summoned every burning atom to his body. It engulfed him in flame and burned away all his clothing except his pants -fire proofed for such occasions-. He stood for a moment packing fire on his body, it slithered around him like snakes from the abyss. The flames screamed like they were burning each other and Micah laughed; the fire all around him was under his control. It was becoming so intense that for a moment he shattered a new limit on his power. The fire stopped, it didnt move or even flicker. It sat still like in a picture. The flames tightened onto his body like a form fitting glove all his muscles highlighted in hells red and orange flag. The ground around him burned and he began to sink, then he rose into the air as if levitating. More fire spewed from the furnaces adding to him. His muscles bulged under the flame and it was all visible to Maya. Suddendly his hair began to move again in waves and flickering sprays of light. He turned around and looked Maya in the eyes, where there should have been white it was black and his iris's were redder than blood. He smiled all his teeth looking like something from a demonic dream, fangs with the ftips on fire. Micah was now a walking star.

Usually when he'd hear tales of tragedy, even from those close to him he'd give them a cold response, usually telling them why what happened to them indeed happened and what they should of done, and then proceeded to lecture them on why the hell they needed to get over it. This time, however, he'd hug Draega tightly and even let a tear loose. He didn't know if it was because he knew that physical pain or if it were something else, but this unlike every other story in the world struck him as a true tragedy.

"I'm at a loss of words...you're the first person to ever receive my true sympathy. Such cruelty to one's own kin...especially when she only aims to make others happy..." Again he'd bare his fangs as he clenched his teeth. "That's the exact reason Earth was destroyed! Sick insects like that had overtaken the world and I couldn't allow such cruel creatures to live on...this world was a new start, for everyone! But, like roaches, some of them just cling to life and breed others...and then their cruelty skips a generation and beautiful creatures such as yourself are born, and out of fear and jealousy, they pretend their hand is that of God's. Your superiority only intimidated them, my love." He'd grin, the entire idea of her being such an intimidating yet sweet young girl warming his heart. "They said what they did to try and belittle you, but most of all, try and convince themselves otherwise. They knew they were full of s**t, but they thought that if they could bring you down, they'd take the seat of superiority...it's pathetic when someone who's in no danger is intimidated by a sweet girl and feels so inferior they must try and crush your hopes and dreams to help themselves sleep at night...tell me Draega, do they still live? ...No, never mind, don't answer that." He'd sigh, then kiss her forehead.

"It sounds like your minds made up...and more important, it sounds like you've thought it over. That means you knew I'd eventually ask...but, ever since the moment we met you've been able to figure me out. That's why it's so fun to be around you; it's like a battle all the time of wit with the winner able to do no more than stick their tongue out at the other." He'd snicker to himself, then begin to repeatedly comb his hand through her hair. "So be it. I'll let you drift off to sleep first. I'll change you while you dream, and when you awaken, you'll awake a new person able to start anew as you so wish. Thank you, love..."

Maya's golden gaze couldn't keep off the flames and him. He was the epiphany of hot, and she wanted to do things to him, she got off her throne and would walk towards him, the flames circling her as she got closer, wrapping around her ankles and pulling her towards him.

"Micah..."

She was mere inches from him, locks of silver and violet would flow in a non-existent wind, the flames tangling with her hair she was burning up in more then one way, she noticed the eyes and a smile spread across her lips.

Muscles.. a girls' weak spot even if she was married to her work, every woman had her needs right?

Micah for fear of burning her cooled the flames down to room temperature but they did not leave or dissipate. It was almost like he was controlling his own body now. The look was still the same and at any second he could let the fire heat up to its fullest potential; which at this point would probably destroy the room.

"Maya...?" He didnt recognize the look in her eye's. In his line of work women were usually not looking at him for the reason's she was. Micah was usually playing big brother for someone. He noticed how her hair flowed in the now nearly non existent oxygen in the room, he suddenly realized that they needed air in here. There was a large window near one of the furnaces that Micah through a whip of fire at, it popped straight up and a light vacuum affect could be felt. Micah had to focus for a second to keep his suit from going up in temp due to the new oxygen.

Maya would blink as she stopped and heard a crashing sound Michelle was back with the reactor, Thank god! She looked to Micah a little confused about what just happened as Michelle tapped her shoulder she sent a barbed wire through her assistant a little jumpy are we?

"Oh Michelle! Welcome back, look Micah, she is here we can began"

She wasn't about to talk to Micah about what the hell just happened so she walked back towards her throne and drained the golden liquid her heart was racing and her chest and body burned.

"Tell me my favorite Rivka what do you have for me?"

Michelle would open the palm of her hand to reveal the mini-reactor she picked it up and smiled.

" Micah it works perfectly!"
