"Ah, the gesture of a handshake? Very well."
Ningen placed his tiny claw in her extended hand, gripping her finger as he shaked it in the general manner that humans did. He was careful not to hurt her with his claws, they weren't very sharp, just sharp enoguh to grip the exoskeletons of more larger insects. To think of it, maybe hey were very sharp seeming how exoskeletons can be quite tough. Ningen was pushed aside by T13, it quickly grasping the same hand with a bit more force then required. T13 was less polite then Ningen, which was obvious due to the lack of AI growth.
"Chuba ree leah, chuba chik youngee?"
Ningen sighed, T13 was being very impolite at the moment. Ningen didn't know if what T13 said would be offensive, but he decided to lie about what the robot commented on to prevent anger within Kimberly.
"It said nice to meet you."
That's not really what T13 said, but she wouldn't know hopfully.

Ah good, he did understand it. The way he gently shook her finger.......ahhh! The bunny girl was right; he was too adorable! But Kim kept an normal face, her mind screaming with a strangely, girly, un-Kim-like joy.
She had to switch gears immediately as the robot gripped her hand tigher, shaking it up and down and speaking. It seemed more like he was trying to get something to get unstuck from a can, for his motions were excited but forceful. She laughed on the inside; such different personalities between robot and lizard. She could tell by Ningen's reaction that T13 really didn't say what Ningen said he said, but decided not to ask; maybe it was something odd that could cause the infamous akward silence.
Shaking this thought aside, she decided to get a idea on what he was seeing. "So, how is the Academy for you so far? Anything particularly good or bad about it? Just curious." she asked curiously; after all, he was seeing things in a more.......innocent light. It'd be a honest thoughtful answer, or even if it wasn't, it'd still give her an idea.

"I had the displeasure of meeting two Legends earlier. How they got to be the Alpha Males of this school's pack is beyong, but then I forget primitve...I mean, humans that have power, but no intelligence usaully get put in charge. The LEgends are the perfect example, so far they haven't impressed me with their cunning or fear. Besides that I've met some very intellgient or at least sentient beings here, Morphia, the kinder Legend Izzy, never really got to meet Onett, Kyler seems odd, but his heart seems just, and then their is you Kimberly. My current stay at this academy has been joyful none the less, if things work out I might stay on Earth instead of leave. The worst part thoguh is I'm running out of romm in my dorm, I can't find more places to put all my spare technology junk. I might start pawning it off, but I can never let go of any of it. What about you? How has your expierence at this academy been so far and if it may not be rude to ask, what talent do you posses that brings you here?"

Sora Kitty ((Oh dear, I belive this is the start of an arguement.
I thought all the characters were spiffy; Kyler has this silent cool-ness figure, but is also fighting to open up, slowing backing out from the shell by helping others, then running back to it in fear; it's a interesting repeating process that adds drama to the story. Not everyone can be the sun-shine "I'm so outgoing and screaming with bubbleness!" character; then an RP dies very quickly if all personalities are the same.
And xMaddiox's character seems to be fitting in well for one with no power, which is also an interesting twist to a super-power school.
So there; there's good points to each one of you.))
"The nurses' office? It's not too far from here, if you need some help carrying him there I'll be glad to assis-"
But suddenly as quickly as the boy had caused the scene, he left it and quick, looking very panicked. "Wait, don't-" but it was too late; he was gone, but hopefully ok. The robot soon left after, and the crowd dispersed.
"Oh well, nevermind then....at least the guy's ok." she shrugged, then decided to take some time to read til the vortex died down and disappeared. Sitting down in on of the chairs, she took out a copy of an entriguing fictional tale called Crimsion Days, and turned back to the page she was one; she wasn't far into it, but she bought it only a few days ago and was already hooked. Such a wonderful storyline, intersting characters; it was beautiful and was thankful taht this was only the first book of a starting series. One news channel said it's gonna be the next big thing since Harry Potter, but not really; Kim thought it was much better already, and she hadn't even gotten far into it. She began to read again with earnest, and soon became absorbed in it. ((Wow......Shut up....Or in the words of Minron: Inkabunga! Lol)) domokun

Kimberly listened eagerly. In truth, she wasn't impressed by those two Legends (which Ningen referred to as Alpha Males, which is true in a sense) either, but perhaps the others were less about strength. She guessed that Morphia was the bunny girl, an that Kyler was the one who ran off after getting injured. At least he was enjoying it, but she could understand his little dilema and was slightly amused by it.
"I'm pretty sure they've got storage rooms in the school; maybe there's an unused one you could get a key to. I'd suggest asking a teacher about that one.
Hm, how's my stay been so far? Hmm..." she thought deeply about this for a moment before answering, simply because she had never asked this question herself. Not metioning what happened with Ken yesterday, she answered truthfully:
"I suppose mine has been ok for the most part. Alot of people here are pretty nice, such as yourself and the girl Mai I ran into yesterday, but many have their head stuck in ego-land. Those two Legends you mentioned before were a good example, but there are more than two; maybe one of them has more brains. Anywho, the rooms are very large and useful, and there's more than enough space to stretch my wings. Onett is rather annoying, but for the most part it's been a good stay so far.
Oh! That's right; you asked about powers. Well, let's see, there's mainly two. One of them is I can talk to animals. My mother was a veternarian (sp?), so that came in handy-"
she paused for a second; while one would call it adding up suspense, she was merely keeping herself composed; she hadn't mentioned her mother in a conversation so freely, since she passed away from disease. When her world was turned for the worse.
"-And the other would be this-" She grinned and snapped her fingers for fun, and her large red bird wings took form, blowing a bit in the breeze. Kicking off her shoes, there suddenly lay large talons. "-bird traits. Very useful, actually!"

Onett finally woke up. He was supposed to be attending coach class this afternoon, but decided he didn't feel like it. He was way too exhausted from all of his intense training.
"I'm hungry....I'm really hungry...." Onett said to himself. He slowly got up from his bed, took a quick shower and headed to the cafeteria. The cafeteria wasn't as full as he remembered. It was probably because everyone had things to do now and socializing over a mediocre meal didn't fit into their schedules.
Onett took a seat next to Izzy and a girl he had never seen before. "What's up, man!" Izzy greeted Onett. "Hey!" Onett replied. "Who's this?" the girl asked Izzy.
"Oh! I'm sorry, guys. Onett, this is Blair! She's a legend!" said Izzy. "And Blair, this is Onett.....He's a new guy."
"You're the one who took on Ansell and Harlen, aren't you?" she asked Onett. "Yeah....I got my a** kicked, too," Onett replied.

Kyler was enjoying his time watching everybody else enjoying their time, it was peaceful and serene in a sense. Alas though he was getting impatient with just doing nothing so he got up and started to leave the cafeteria while throwing his bottle away. I need to talk to the head of this school about recycle units. kyler said as he grabbed the bottle he just threw away and put it in his bag. I guess I could watch others train, the day is just too bright to go outside to and with that Kyler started to walk towards the arena.

Maddiox just said you were being the person who "Leans up against walls and never talks to anyone; Silent Badass" Chances are we will have a lot of those anyway, We had a lot of them in the last Gen. Academy.
As on the dean thing, it takes energy to use your power, Each time you use your power it takes more energy, If you have no power or using a non power Ability It takes strain on your body. Besides he does not sit there and look into the future for no reason, Waste of energy, Like using your power for meaningless tasks.))

"Then your powers are to able to converse with creatures and become part bird? Intresting, so you are able to understand the creatures of your planet under better levels? Intresting, very intresting in deed. I will bet you will use your gift wisely and not use it to further your path down the dark ways of evil? Many students here will face such a choice at one time or another, the choice between good and evil. That or they will become super heroes that gorge their bellies on the attention of millions to inflate their egos, I've seen it on television."
Ningen found it quite intresting that this girl could become such a creature of bird like abilities, like a Harpie from mythology. He didn't want to call her a harpie, it was offensive to many people not just on Earth. T13 was sitting on the ground bored, poking at its own eye to see how distorted its sensors could be and for how long. Ningen decided it would be best if he synced with t13 again, its behavior was very unpredictable.
"Excuse for a moment, I must get back into my suit. It should only take a minute Kimberly."
Ningen stood infront of T13 and clapped twice, T13 immediantly understanding the command, unlocked its chassis plate to reveal the stasis chamber where Ningen would reside. Ningen jumped in and immediantly it clsoed behind him, He became one with T13 once again.
"It does feel good to be back in my robotic body."

Mai was finally able to find the office, after a few hours of wandering around the school. She knocked tiredly at the door, not waiting for a reply and walking in.
"Hello?" she called out as she sat down on a chair in front of a desk. Her kittens fell asleep an hour ago in her arms and are purring softly in their sleep.
She waited patiently there as she placed her bags beside the chair.

((Actually he was insulting my character like he said, puting him in the group of "bully" since I didn't do anything to be insulted.))
Kyler finally made it to the arena, it really wasn't that far from the cafeteria and he was feeling much better after his new food source. Today I'll ask someone to spar me! Kyler thought and tightened his hand into a fist a pleasant chill coming off his body. He then entered the arena and changed his mind, there just was too many people and he didn't even know where to start. The enthusiams he felt earlier dissapeared, maybe not... Instead he was going to go back to his normal activity of just observing people and getting some more idea of how each person fought. To him this was as good as training.

Training post
The red haired legend "Exo" could be seen from a distance. "I am ready by the way." Kiyo stated in a second Exo seemed to Vanish, Appearing Behind Kiyo. It was not so much of him not expected this but more of not being fast enough to react to it. Exo rammed his shoulder into Kiyo's Back. Kiyo sent flying forward, Changing into a roll to catch his balance with his back up against a tree, by a chance in hell he seen Exo's leg coming toward his head, He ducked, Making Exo's leg hit the tree, Catching the momentum he jumped up like spring forward upper cutting Exo in the chin. Exo's face went up as he looked back down t Kiyo. "You gotta do better then that!" Exo exclaimed standing in a battle stance. "Well let's give it a BANG!!" Kiyo yelled. "...Puns? Lame..."Maddiox said. Kiyo began to run forward jumping over Exo's head tossing a bomb down. Exo caught it and tossed it off. There was silence for a bit. Exo looked toward Kiyo with a don't care look. Then dashing towards Kiyo sending a spinning kick towards his head...once again. This time Kiyo caught his leg and yanked it towards him making Exo stumble.

"That's true; it does boil down to that point of good and evil eventually, now matter how much is accomplished.
As for the powers, that is true as well. It's interesting to see the world from another's eye, especially if they are different than humans. For one, most of them are far more kind; that, and I guess that they don't get to talk to people very often. Many think humans as evil beings, while many actually like the humans' actions.
The best example I can think of is when I was younger; there was a beautiful bird's nest way up in one of the trees. I climbed up there one day, and realized that there was a whole family of birds up there. The parents were more than happy to talk about what they've seen, and I guess we became friends. I'd go up there everyday after school and pay them a visit, and after awhile the baby birds were old enough to speak, so they sort of joined in as well. They were all red birds, and everytime I try to find what species they are of bird, it's not listed."
Kim then waited patiently as the lizard fetched the robot and went back into the suit. The robot seemed to act much more like the children she'd babysit over the summer; who were about six at best. It was very strange, but she continued as the Ningen came back much more relaxed.
"Three months after this first encounter with the birds, I woke up one morning with my back in severe pain. Let's see, I was...how old? I think aroooound eight. Turns out red wings started growing out of my back. Ironic, isn't it? I can't help but wonder if I would've gotten, let's say a skunk tail, if I had met the skunk first.....don't think that would've been as useful, sadly." she giggled. razz

Training Post
"Man those legends are so cool I hope I get chosen to be one of them wouldn't it just be the coolest...EVER!!!" A little said exitedly to another girl who roled her eyes. "Oh who cares they're just a bunch of people who have to show off their powers. I'm happy just being a healer." Another boy joined the group he obviously heard what was being said, "Yeah I agree with her the legends aren't that great." The three exited the arena and Kyler watched them with a light heart.
He was truly enjoying himself and he practiced some of the stances he saw the her do. He still prefered the style of fighting he chose, but it doesn't hurt to actually try something else. Kyler focused more on his breathing during his training as he practiced all these unfamiliar fighting styles. He has something kind of like spot memory, if he sees something and within a certain time period he'll be able to do it, of course not perfectly since he doesn't know the actual technique to it. He continued to train his breathing becoming more ragged and his heart beat picking up more and more. Finally feeling slightly more satisfied Kyler stretched a little to get the lactic acid buildup in his muscles more dispered so the soreness in his muscles wouldn't be as bad and he sat down. Quickly a bottle came of out Kyler's bag and he drank it without stopping until all the water from the bottle was drained. That was fun.

"How dreadful that might have been, so then your true power was not to become a bird, but to absorb the likeness of a creature at a certain age I'am guessing. If you had a child, it would be very likely the same event would repeat, so I suggest keepnig animals around your children you wouldn't mind them inheriting traits from. This power of your also could vary depending on your husbands powers, such as if he could coomunicate with plants. If so, your children might inherit traits from a plant they hang around. It has many variables not encounted for, so I can't predict if your children could inherit the trait or if the power's affects aren't over yet. In other words, if you hang around some other animal of some kind, you may inhert more traits or switch traits for the new said trait. Tell me, have you been around other animals lately as long as you did those birds you spoke of? If this is so, I believe there is nothing to be afraid, but if it is true actions must be taken if you do not want to mutate anymore. I also didn't include the posbility of the Arcane Arts or huamsn may call Magic. If your powers are from magic, nothing is to be feared I suppose."
Ningen's analysis was quick, but he was sure it was accurate. His current theory was if Kimberly stayed near a non-human organism, she may inherit traits from that said organism through their mear presence. If this was so, she could be around humans and expierence no change, but to be around someone liek himself of Morphia since they were not human could affect her. The other theory was that like puberty, the affects of her absorbant DNA could be a one tiem thing and nothing was to be worried about at all. This was up to her though, it depended on her answer to his question and if she gave the required answer. Ningen could make the final analysis to determine if this was indeed true. If it was, he could no longer be around her if his DNA counted towards her powers, but he didn't consider hismelf an animal.
