she gave him a half smile and let him brush some hair from her face, "i see you still like me." she smiled abit brighter knowing he more than liked her, love her. she then turned her face away noticing he didnt give a comment on her kissing Gabrielle then she looked back at him smiling sincerly this time "so i take it you know the Chakram of light kills gods and put together with this one i have balances it out right?" she asked leaning on the tree now.

-Finally spots some leather leaning against a tree, and runs to Xena's side.-
Xena, what in tartarus is going-Ugh. YOU AGAIN?
-Notices Ares making googoo eyes at her warrior princess. Stands closer to Xena protectively.-
Seriously, Ares, would it kill ya to leave us mortals alone for a minute?

She looked at Gabrielle as she spoke and said "stop Gabrielle. he obviously needs to tell me something." moves away from Gabrielle "i can take care of myself when it comes to Ares, i dont need your help Gabrielle." she added then walked off not worried about the conversation before anymore. she looked at Ares then to Gabrielle and said "i know you are never going to like each other, but i know what happened between you two, its written all over you." she grimance "let me guess, Aphrodite?" she asked

-Thinks to self "A wha?" as Xena shrugs her off to talk to Ares? Of all the people!-
I know you don't need my help, Xena. But listen to me! I have gone to Hades and back again in the last couple of days, and if I don't get some basted goat liver right now, I'm going to rip somebodies head off. Got that, warrior princess?
-Grabs Xena's shoulder desperately, while also gripping her starved stomach.-
Please! Can we just go get some dinner already? Ares is immortal, he can wait a few more hours! But I don't think my stomach can!

she looked at Gabrielle and said "you and your stomach." she whistled for Argo and said "come on, let's go." she took Argo's reins and got into the saddle. she looked at Ares then to Gabrielle "you gonna ride up with me, or you going to call your own horse?" she asked still looking at Gabrielle.

she helped her up and looked at Ares "we'll talk later." she said and rode off in to the village. she looked at Gabrielle from behind her shoulder "what is your problem Gabrielle, i know you hate Ares but i didnt think it was this bad between you two." she said looking ahead now as Argo trotted down the path.

-Being reminded of the violent hopscotch, Gabrielle gagged on her own bile. Being jumped about atop of a horse wasn't helping, either. Eventually, she managed to say:
"I don't know what you're talking about, Xena."
-Gabs avoided eye contact with those icy blues at all costs.-
"So, where are we going? Should we just stop at Cyrene's? Her tavern is right over there."
-Gabrielle was desperately trying to change the subject, as well as get something to eat.-

she smiled some as her question was avoided and looked at the tavern "yea, lets go there." she said then steered Argo toward the tavern as she as close enough to the tavern, she waited for Gabrielle to get down before she dismounted. knowing the truth on what happened between the two. but she shrugged it off "alright, lets go." she added walking inside after tieing off Argo.

entering the tavern she looked at her mother and said "yea Gabrielle needs Basted goats liver and some port." she said turning around looking at those in the tavern, this time no one was looking at her. but she did feel eyes in her but no one in the tavern was looking at her. she looked at around she took the food and drink to a table and placed it in front of Gabrielle. "here you go. eat up." she took a long drink of the port and looked around again.

-Eats the liver ravenously, and chugs down the ale. Once everything put in front of her was devoured, she noticed Xena looking suspiciously about the room.-
Xena, what's wrong? Ares isn't back, is he?! That son of a baccae..

she looked at Gabrielle and said "no i just feeling like we are being watched it all." she watched Gabrielle and narrowed her icy blue eyes "Gabrielle, i think you are pregnant." she looked at her still "look at what you have eaten, even i wouldnt eat that." she added and you even drank my port." she said then leaned forward "and i think its Ares' kid." she said looking a little disgusted at the thought Gabrielle and Ares had sex.

she narrowed her eyes and grimaced at her and said "you...did...what?" she asked "with the man you hate most?" she added standing placing her hands on the table now leaning over it looking at her still "gabrielle it only takes one time." she said.
