"Little ones running around your feet?" He yawns a little. "I'm getting a lil sleepy."

Nuzzling him softly,
"Little ones would be nice...I'm not sure if they would take to me though...if I am as you say such a foal they might not see me in a good light..."
Looking about noticing the weather was slowly turning darker around them she wrinkled her nose,
"Looks like it might rain...we should probably get to a dry place?"

"Well they'd be self absorbed questioning worried ones?" He looked up noticing the weather as well. "Where would we find a dry place dear? I only see trees around."

Looking around as the first drops of rain started to fall. She didn't mind the rain so much however, she knew that he didn't like it. Looking in the direction across from the stream, where the trees were thicker and the rain wouldn't hit them too much however it required going through the stream.
"well...we could...maybe across the way...we could be dry there."

He looks at her like she is crazy. "Where do you want me to go?"

The rain coming down harder she whined a little,
"Over there...across the stream...I'm sure we'll be drier in the long run...but it does mean you have to go through the water again..."
She pleaded with her eyes as she looked at him hoping that he would be okay with it.

He stared at her like she was crazy. "So in order for us to stay dry we have to get drenched with water?" He then saw the look in her eyes and he walked over to the water's edge and stepped in. "Let's go across slowly then it'll be safer that way." He hated doing this but he wanted her to be happy.

running over to him she splashed through the stream, calling out over her shoulder,
"be careful!"
The end of her sentence was drowned out in the clap of thunder that rang overhead causing her to bolt in to the dense tree cover and hide, she wasn't partial to thunder even though she thought the rain was refreshing.

Slowly walking through the stream so as not to fall he watches her bolt into the trees. He decided not to say a word until he had crossed safely. "Why did you run? It's not like thunder can hurt you it's only a noise." He laughed a little at the thought of her being so afraid. "You act like such a little foal at times."

Lucinda whimpered softly from the hiding place she had found herself in, then saying out loudly,
"I dont like it! It's scares me!"
She wasn't about to tell him about the biggest reason she didn't like the sound, it sounded too much like when she was younger. However, the years before she came to live here she had tried very hard to push it out of her mind. Shaking her head feeling silly after thinking about it she slowly peaked her head out to see a poor soaking wet Dirt standing out there looking amused.

He stared at her for a while as she looked at him from her hiding place. "Why did we cross the stream again?", he said to her after a moment. "I'm even more wet than I was when I was on the other side." He shakes his head trying to get some of the water off and maybe try to get her a little more wet.

She found herself slowly forgetting the feeling of insecurity and being scared as she saw him standing there shaking like an idiot. Walking over to him she nuzzled him softly,
"We'll be drier over here...see the rain isn't coming though the trees..."

She looked at him inquisitively when he didn't move or respond. Maybe water did that to the poor stallion she nuzzled him once again,
"sweetie? are you alright?"
She finally managed to ask.
