Anthony somehow knew that would happen. He gripped his rist and began to flex his hand. Something inside of him wanted to yell at the Sergeant... But that wouldn't be too fair.

"Its quite alright Sergeant. Why dont you go get some sleep. We're moving out soon." He said.

Spinning on his heel, he turned and walked back to the 2 officers, still gripping his hand.

"Commander, that Sergeant of yours is a handful..." he said with a grin.

Smiling, Ashton reached again for his gear. He donned his inner vest, and buckled it down against his ribs. He then pulled on his jacket, and clipped it shut at the front. He then put on his outer armor and waist guards. Shin armor and forearm-guards came next, followed by his collar and nect protector. His vest came last, to which he strapped all the new Medical supplies he could find. He then whistled for a trolly, which came motoring over to him obediently.

"Load those med packs and grab the duffels from my locker." He commanded, and watched as the trolly's solitary arm busied itself, and was soon weighed down with over 1,000 pounds of gear.
Hm, got enough gear, Danmsith? Angel asked musingly. To which he replied, just as whimsically,
You think I should bring some more?

He then motioned for the wheeled cart to follow him. He passed the less-than-crappy mess hall, the well-stocked and "well-loved" armory and motor depot, and then the Gym caught his eye. Peeking in through the low hangar doors, he saw a crowd gathered around a small ring raised above the concrete floors.

Looks like Ms. PMS is beating up some marines, Dansmith. The woman, Catherine, if he remembered correctly, was busying herself with the face of a Private, who promptly fell to the ground, choking. After a quick exchange of quips, the woman proceded to down their own Warrant Officer, who must have startled her. Ashton was about to rush over when the man got up, brushing himself off.

"Oy!" He called. "Just don't break any bones, alright Ms. Punches? We're running low on Ostio-Foam!"

"You want her? Twenty bucks." The Commander grinned mischievously and chuckled.

Lipton was getting bored. In fact, he was thinking about pulling something out of his a** and going on a crazy half-assed commando mission, but he knew better than that. Easy wasn't going to move until it was told to, no matter how antsy he got. The air-strike had failed because Charlie hadn't painted the target, so he had to apologize to Hotel flight and send them on their way. While they were happy to be taken out of the hot zone for a while, they still saw this as a waste of their time. He was inclined to agree. Just what the hell were they doing? It seemed like command had pushed Easy out to the boonies just to let it rot.

Cats eyes swung over to who spoke after that embarassing event.
Dansmith, I remember him.
She smiled and waved him over, "Want to give it a try?" she paced a bit, "I promise nothing will break."

[James Mitchell]

The two laughed and joked until Adam got up and shook James' hand. "Sorry, old buddy but I gotta go, I'm going on duty soon." Adam said with a stiff tone. "See ya." James said blatantly and stood up as well. "I'm going go work out. I don't want to get rusty." James joked and left the armory. He wasn't drunk, that was one thing about James, he could hold more than a couple of beers. James sighed and walked briskly down a corridor, James arrived at large green metal door and punched the switch next to it, after a couple of seconds it opened slowly. James then entered another corridor and dodged a couple of Marines in the hallway, but kept going toward the gym. James yawned and turned a corner and arrived at another door, he repeated the same process as earlier and entered this corridor, he was getting closer to the gym now, only a couple of turns away. James made the turns and entered the gym and took note of everyone in the gym, WO Karr, MSgt. Warren, and the as of now unknown female gunny. James just backed aganist a wall near the entrance and listened.

Heh, Ashton challenged to a fight by a chick, this should be interesting. Thats of course if he accepts. He had been eager to to his duties, and challenged Warren to game of cards to prove he was able, and now he faced a new challenge, the call of a woman.

Warren noticed James walked in, he had made a not of remembering the man's name after the incident on 79, where Warren pulled him out of the fire fight and Ashton saved his life. He waved the man over, he needed to have a small conversation with him.

The smile quickly faded from Dansmith's face.
Hahaha! Can't help you there, Sergeant! You're on your own.
"Uh, well, you know, I've got some patients waiting..." He tried, but the marines near him jeered and slapped him on the back.
-"Come on, blabbermouth! Give it a go!"
-"Yeah, then maybe you can sympathize with those of us that actually tried!"

Regarding Cat, then the marines, and the awaiting Trolly, he decided, Ah, hell. Just one round.

Removing his battle vest, neck guard, jacket, and armor, he stood there with his U.N.S.C. Tee on, dog tags and boots. His fatigues, knee pads, shin guards and gloves remained, and he didn't think they were going to be much help.
He stepped into the ring.

"Well, here goes nothing."

"Twenty? Hah, no thanks." Anthony said with a smile, and leaned over the map.

"So, Commander, Captian, Lieutenant, are there any questions or conserns with the plan I just suggested?" he asked.

Cat smiled when Dansmith striped down and got into the padded arena. She put her hands up in kickboxing style, rocking back and fourth on her legs and springing now and then to move quick.
Cat left her hands in a ready stance, moving in with her upper body the most exposed she came in with a flash of a kick to the side of Dansmith's lower leg.
Her heart was pounding in anticipation.

A battle ring came upon his walking, marines jeering on something, a fight. A sparkle of interest creased his lips as he thumbed him helmet lock. A pleasant hiss sounded air rushing from the air-locked helmet. The ODST was only bestowed with one or two glances, the Master Gunnery Sgt. didn't mind but instead watched with interest.

He wanted to place his bet on one of them, a mental challenge of wages, or maybe with Shelly, if she really cared.

"Huh.." She seemed to stuck, words unable to process as she spoke through the single piece headset that wrapped around his earlobe swinging into his ear. "I wonder who's going to win. I'm going to process there records I think.."

For a AI in some places she was still daft, but of course she was developing. Emma, her 'sister' had vanished years ago. Ripped to pieces by a enemy AI, she was strong and fierce but then Shelly came along, a new little project. A little voice in the back of his head of sort, the AI kept him vivid to his task, and helped him with his many lonely times. It was any nerds friend, but Winter wasn't a normal 'nerd', what the name meant hundreds of years ago. This one stood tall, brown locks flowing over regulated length, but he was a hell-jumper, some little things came with it.

Seth grinned absently at Hammer's remark, there was still too much on his mind.

Seth nodded, "It's solid." He remarked, glancing towards Captain Lee and Commander Hammer waiting for their replies.

Lee failed to suppress a smile as he saw the holographically represented Sergeant's well-executed wrist-lock, glad to see that at least some other marines still learned from the ancient arts. He himself was a practitioner of many styles, his favorite of which had to be "Jeet Kund Do", or "The Way of the Intercepting Fist", created by the one man that had been considered the best martial artist of all time: Bruce Lee. Having been told all his life that he was in fact one of Bruce's distant relative only to find out that he in fact had nothing to do with the man had been a little bit disappointing, but gave the Captain new perspective on why reaching physical perfection was so important. Not to live up to some distant figure of the past, but so he could be master of his own future.
That a few of the marines were honing their skills was something that Lee was immensely proud of, but a joy that would be overshadowed by the loss of more men during the next operation. Though knowing that Dansmith was a medic, not a martial artist meant that the woman's challenge was slightly unfair. No, Lee wanted to watch a more interesting fight. Noticing another ODST looking from farther away, he remembered the details of the man's file containing a few years of training in Krav Maga. Gunnery Sergeant Smith... Even their ranks matched.
But before Lee could say anything, Dansmith made the innocent decision of going with it as the the Gunny began springing from one leg to the other. And if she was going to be kickboxing, maybe she didn't need her arms. He hit the com to the phys-rec room and spoke into his personal mike:
"Arms behind your back, Sergeant Kaiser. Give Dansmith a chance!"

He turned to see Karr come back into the room, and nodded with agreement as Karr demanded approval for his plan. It was tactically sound, but would be heavily dependent on the performances of those on the field. Nevertheless, it was good.
"Sounds good."

[James Mitchell]

James smiled and shouted to Dansmith. "Don't worry! When you get your a** kicked at least you can treat all of the wounds!" James laughed loudly and turned to Warren. "Fifty bucks on the gunny." James said with a smile, and leaned back and watched the show. "This should be good." James lied though, he figured the fight was one sided, plus Dansmith was just a medic.

Barely jumping above the low kick, Dansmith breathlessly retorted,
"No help, Captain!!" He dodged left to avoid a solid punch, then tried to evade right. Nope.

His head took a nice punch to the temple, which sent him reeling. He staggered back, barely regaining his faculties and senses quickly enough to parr away a backfist with his palm. He'd only taken rudimentary self-defense, and only as a hobby. The Sergeant, however, seemed to think it a way of life.

"Great..." He muttered to himself, as he backed away from a flurry of round-kicks. He spun in place and connected, quite to his suprise, on her back with a hook-kick. Returning to neutral guard, he began to bounce on his feet. His balance wasn't all there, his head was still spinning.

Still, his a** wasn't kicked. Yet, anyway.
