Our show is entitled "A Gershwin Tribute"
We play (not in order) Rhaspody in Blue Pts. 1 and 3, Strike up the Band, and A Gershwin Portrait, which is a medly of Embraceable You, Swanee, and something else that I can't remember because I rest through all of it.
And yes I realize that I spelled alot of stuff wrong, I'll fix it later when I remember how to spell them XD
oh and
WE'RE GOING TO STATE!!!!!!!!!!

"Slice of Americana"
Part one is "When Johnny Comes Marching Home".
Part two is "Amazing Grace".
Part three was made quickly to create a bridge between part two and four. It is just a bunch of military songs put together. Much like "March of the Armed Forces".
Part Four is Neil Diamond's, "Coming to America".
This show was chosen as a tribute to the soldiers stationed home and abroad. This seems fitting since I live in a military town. (The school is about a mile from Fort Hood.)

The Liberty Hill (Texas) High School Band is doing "A Night at the Movies" John Williams music.
We are playing (in order):
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Indiana Jones
Imperial March
Cantina Band
Harry Potter
E.T.
Lots of music!!! 7 minutes and 40 seconds long last time we checked!! IT"S AWESOME!!!!! and the whole drill is done!! but we haven't put the whole show on the field yet...thank god!!

This year my band is doing a field show called "Spies Like Us". It consisted of a range of songs, 6 to be exact. The show is 8 minutes long. 8 minutes of straight playing. He has either a drum break, or a two count rest. It's crazy, but the songs in order are:
James Bond Theme
Secret Agent Man
Soul Bossa Nova
Get Smart
Mission Impossible
Live and Let Die/James Bond Theme
It's quite the show. I've been in marching band since my 7th grade year, was a runner that year, and amrching since my 8th. I've never done a shower this hard before. Overall though, even with my band's natural 4 song field arrangements, we've been more prepared this year than before. :] I'll try to get a video of our performance for you all. :]

This years show is Silver Screen. Our songs are Rent, Cell Block Tango, and Move. Move is really stupid. But Rent and CBT are pretty good. Rent is ubber fast. But not as fast as last year show. heart

Our theme is "Asian Dances"...which kinda sucks, in a way, because there's another national-class band that's also dong and Asian theme. ><

My bands bandcamp show this year is named "Dance to the music part 2" the songs we play are Dance to the Music, Jail House Rock, Your Mama don't Dance, Here it Goes Again, and River Dance: the opener.
The other show we have played this year I don't rember its name but here is what we played Beat it, Up Town Girl, The Heart of Rock and Roll, and Blistering in the Sun.
We still have 2 more shows left one I know what the songs are this would be homecomeing Espaini coni fanfair, Knock on Wood, Our Fight Song, and Hawiian War Chant.
The last show we play is the seanor show and I am not shure what songs we play for that one.

Were doing Prince of Egypt our Band Director could not find any Scores or a show for it so he wrote it himself. And its quite fun

i have the show called "It was time!"
we play:
Time by Pink Floyd
Clocks by Coldplay
Time after time by Cindy Lauper
Time in a bottle by Jim Croce (time after time in a bottle)
Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley
Time Warp from Rocky Picture Horror Show.
Time and clocks is our opener...they are put together...time after time in a bottle is time in a bottle and time after time put together which is our ballad, and rock around the clock and time warp are together which is our closer and really really fast lol. we have up until the end of the ballad on the field right now because of hurricanes and none of the band knows when to shut up...they talk even more when we are fixing something or learning a new set.
