Jack was mildly surprised when he felt arms reach around the curve of his body and press against his chest. He smiled, and with his left hand he grabbed one of her own.
"I am not going to play games with you, Syvra," He said, his head still pointed downward. "You are not stupid. But you know what I want, and I will get it, one way or another." He lifted her hands so that he could turn to face her. His free hand went to her face, once again pushing aside a strand of shining hair, and then trailing across her lips, before letting it drop again at his side. "I like you, though, and it would be a shame if I had to act out against you."

Of course, Demyx answered after a long pause. He climed onto the couch, sliding his arms beneath Cora's body to lift her so that he too could fit. Her body was like ice against his skin as he settled into place, shifting her so that her upper body was pulled against him and nestled in the crook of his left arm. With his right hand he gathered hers and placed them on her midsection. Their placement almost made her look dead, and he frowned down at them. Cora was compact now, close to another being in a position Demyx knew made people feel safe.
I am here, can you feel me? He asked in his uniform voice. Just as the words came through his mind, cool, clear tears rolled down his shoulder. They were colder even then her skin. He had not noticed before that she was crying. The sight of those twinkling tears distressed him, and he whiped them away from her face with a finger.
Do you feel protected now? His voice had lightened as he stared down at her.

"Eh, whatever. At least it distracted me from other things."

Kye saw her struggling to get up and moved closer. "Wanna grab something to eat? It might help you regain your energy."

Kye got up as Alice rose and glanced at the hallways, which were surprisingly empty, and frowned. "Where is everyone?"

Usually, there would be a swarm of students chatting and hanging out in the halls, but today was different somehow. There seemed to be a lull from the usual loud chatter that filled the halls.

"Wierd, it's awfully quiet. Anyways, what do you feel like having?"

Alice and Kye walked out into the quite halls. "Um, I don't know. Anything, I don't mind. Lets just...go." She said with a shrug. He was right. It was unusually quiet. Alice took a few steps forward down the hall before turning round to face Kye. "Uh..hehe where is the cafeteria anyways?" She said with a shy smile. She had no clue where she was going.

Alice folded her arms over her chest, and resisted the urge to stick out her tongue at him like a two year old. As they entered she could feel everyone's eyes on her, and her cheeks turn pink. She hated it when everyone stared, it made her feel awkward and self conscious. As they continued to walk everyone went back to their conversations with new added whispers. She could hear a few girls as she walked by, "What's a nobody like her doing with Kye?" Whispered one girl, the bitterness in her voice obvious, she most likely had feelings for Kye. As Alice guessed most girls did. He was cute and mysterious, and the object of every single girl at the school's desire. Alice bit her bottom lip, how badly did she want to give that girl a piece of her mind...

Jack saw the questions in her gaze, and knew that he was returning the look. When Syvra still said nothing to him, he tisked quietly.
"You are almost more trouble then you are worth." He winked at her, his sly smile playing across his face. "Almost."
Jack let go of the vampire girl and began to pace a slight distance away, hands in pockets as he stared at the ground.
"Demyx is not a good leader," He said unexpectedly. "If he was, he would have told me, if not out of loyalty then out of duty. I am his advisor, his cousin, and second in comand. He should not have secrets." He paused in the middle of the clearing. "I dont know where he even is right now." Jack glanced up at Syvra, his eyes questioning again. "You wouldnt happen to know where he might have gone, would you?"
Just give me my answers, and everything will go so much smoother.

Demyx could find no words to say to the girl in his arms. He wanted to tell her how much he liked her already, despite how little he knew her. He wanted to tell her that he could keep her safe as long as she was with him. He wanted to tell her that he would always be there for her.
But he had to tell her that he did not like her, in an attempt to save her heart, because Demyx could not love her ever, he was not aloud to. Being with him as she was now...even that was too much. As leader of the elemental clan, Liceryth, he could never be with a vampire.
He tried so hard to form the words that he should tell her, but as Cora's head fell into his neck and rested there, he thought that now was not the time. Perhaps later he could, when she felt safe on her own. Perhaps then he could break his own heart to keep her's whole. Yes, later, when the moment was not so wonderful, he would tell her that he could never see her again.
As Cora fell asleep in his arms, Demyx found that he could not help himself, and he, too, gave in. His insomnia had been cured with her touch, and he had the sweetest dreams.

"If I said I wasn't lying, you would still think I was," Jack observed as he, too, folded his arms across his chest. "And I can get what I want without sleeping with people, so you need not be worried about that." He walked past Syvra to pick up his shirt from where he had previously been sleeping. It hung loosely in his hand as he returned to her side.
"I rather enjoyed it, actually. But you can pretend we never happened, if that would make you feel better." He shrugged and looked up at her as he slipped the shirt back on. After a moment, he said "I'm beginning to think you are not going to give any information to me at all." Jack shrugged once more. "No matter, I will proceed with or without your help." With that, he began to walk away, heading back in the direction of Crimson Moon. But he stopped just at the edge of the clearing, turning to glance at Syvra.
"Come find me if you ever change your mind about me...or Demyx. You are always welcome in my room." Jack turned away again, leaving the clearing and then the forest as he made his way back to the school.

Warm light filtered in through the crack in the curtains as the first rays of sun touched the school. Much of the large study was still shadowed, but the little bit of light that did manage to enter just happened to fall across the couch that Demyx and Cora slept on. Demyx groaned as his only real sleep in weeks was disturbed. He mummbled somthing spiteful of the sun and burrowed his face in the closest object, trying to escape and fall back asleep, only to remember that Cora was, infact, wrapped in his arms, and that it was her neck he had hidden his face in. His eyes fluttered open to see pale skin and the curve of a colarbone. Demyx pulled away and stared down at her in surprise. Their closeness-and his enjoyment of it- scared him.
Standing up, he gently placed Cora on the couch and walked over to the window, pushing open the curtains fully so that he could peer outside. He remained there for some time, lost in thought and not daring to look back at Cora.

((I'm sorry, I'm not really sure when would be a good time to post but, here it goes.))

Felomina was dropped off at the door of her new school. She looked at the school and quickly paid the taxi driver, she grabbed her bags. Chuckling, Felomina walked up to the school thinking about the kinds of things she could and probally would learn. She proceeded inside to grab her room keys. After getting her keys she trudged up to her room, her bags were heavier then she thought they would be. Opon reaching her room, Felomina unpacked and sat down on her bed and decided to relax.
