"Kai, be quiet and come with me, our Lord requires our services," Artemis scolded her elder then walked off to follow Gannondorf.

(I was gonna scold Yath for the short posts, but then I'd be a hypocrite xd )

Zelda flipped with increasing speed, her face no longer impassive. She bit her lip, hoping that there was some other explanation, any other explanation. Her eyes widened as she saw something, perhaps the something she was looking for, but she'd already flipped past it. With trembling fingers, she flipped slowly backward, until- There!

Zelda carefully read the entry, and as she did so whatever color she'd had in her face slowly drained out of it. Finally her eyes came to rest on the illustration, a drawing of a very tall, chillingly familiar man.

Slowly she shut the book. Her eyes seemed likely to burn twin holes in the cover. "What am I going to do?" she whispered, so quietly that she could barely hear herself.

Ganondorf nearly flew down the hallway with wings upon his feet, intent on discovering what it was that he was being pulled towards. His strides were nearly impossible for the Gerudos to keep up with (should they choose) without running, although he was simply walking very quickly.

The library came into sight, and Ganondorf burst in like a dam breaking, being particularly noisy and obvious in hopes of convincing everyone he was still upstairs once he found the entrance to the lower library. He charged into the aisles, then suddenly came to a stop, letting most silence come about. He listened to the sounds. No one around, except he hoped his Gerudos. They were sneaky enough to be behind him. He hoped that was where they were.

He then set off down the aisles, surprisingly quiet for a man so heavy and musclebound. It didn't take him too long to find what he was looking for: a door that looked fairly old and generally untouched.

Except he wasn't quiet enough to scout out below alone. He turned about, looking for the two who were supposed to be with him.

Artemis struggled to keep up with her lord through the winding hallways. For some reason, he seemed to know where he was going unlike the gerudo, though thanks to the clanking of his armor, even when he was out of sight, Artemis was still able to follow.

She was suddenly surprised by the sound of a large banging sound. She turned the corner and found a large set of doors were wide open. Inside were hundreds of books, more then the woman had ever seen in her life, not that she was very into reading. She would much rather experience things for herself then read about them. out of the corner of her eye she caught the sight of her Lords cape move around a bookself and followed after it.

"Artemis," Ganondorf half-whispered. "Good. Go downstairs. See if it's empty, I don't want to run into anyone down there."

(Alright, Ele is not on but I know her well enough to know she'd probably make Zelda hide or something, this is our 4th RP together so I'm just going to assume, She can write her part later, she's not interacting so it's alright if the timing's alittle inconsistent)

Artemis walked down the stares, immediately noticing the increase in the rooms dust. She coughed often on her descent but eventually she got over it. Once at the bottom of the stairs, she scanned the immediate area for signs of movement, but she saw nothing.

She began weaving through rows after row of books, only to find nothing. At one point, Artemis believed she had heard someone but when she checked the area and found noting, she chocked it up to her imagination. Once her patrol had concluded, she returned to the entrance and stared up at the red haired man in the doorway, "The library is secure my Lord, we are alone."

Ganondorf nodded briskly, then quietly clopped down the stairs.

Within was what was drawing him. He could feel it getting nearer, and his stomach had grown hot instead of cold. He wasn't sure, but he might have been sweating. Down the aisle he marched, resuming his great pace, headed for... he didn't know, but there was one book, somewhere here, calling him. He wasn't sure if it was magic, a hunch, or just darned good luck. It didn't matter; he was too close to resist the pull.

((The question comes as to whether she would leave the book behind, which of course since I don't know her I wouldn't presume to guess.))

(considering we both wanna get the plot underway and the book is necassary, I'd say yes. Sides, Zelda is the curious type, she'd want to find out what Gannon's up to, and would probably be aware that he might want the book)

Artemis watched as her King wandered down the aisle. The look of a madman was on his face as he searched the aisle, no searching was not the right term. It was more like he was following an invisible trail only he could see. Artemis could see no other alternative but to follow after him, Kia could gaurd the door by herself.

((A'ight.))

What he was looking for suddenly appeared around the corner. It was old, opened to a page of a sketch that reminded him of someone. Maybe himself. He didn't care; that wasn't what was calling him. Reaching down, he snatched up the book, rapidly flipping through pages, judging what he was looking for. Suddenly he went the other way, more slowly; he'd gone too far. There it was. This was the page.

His eyes scanned the paper as he sat heavily in a seat that probably wouldn't hold his weight if he did that again. The words he was looking for appeared. A passage about the first encounter. How a man named Ganondorf had obtained the Triforce, but split it into pieces.

The living Ganondorf caught his breath. He knew this story; an old relative whom he was named for had written a journal. This story was so familiar... it was almost as if... all that hadn't been the product of insanity. The Hero of Time... what was it he had called him? He'd been too furious (or insane) to ever refer to him by name. He'd always just called him Chain or The Hero. Strange... there might be something to it.

He sat back heavily. This changed a lot.

This put the Triforce of Power within his grasp. The Sages! He could get them, unlock the Sacred Realm, and bring the bearer back that he might use his weapon to save his people, by whatever means necessary. This solved everything. But he needed the other bearers.

The Princess he was to marry. She would have the Triforce of Wisdom, or her mother or father would. A Royal Family heirloom. He needed to find out.

It was altogether just... too good to be true.

(Actually The Gannon in the sacred realm was killed in I believe a link to the past so current gannon would have it through blood, but I suppose he would have no way of knowing, though I'm assuming that Link brought the journal back from Gannon)

Artemis sat down on a wooden chair in the corner, she watched as the man in front of her grew more and more fascinated. Suddenly the man's eyes left the page as though suddenly something had occurred to him, "What is it my Lord?"

Kia was angry.

"So Artemis is allowed to stand with him, while I stand at the door?" she asked out loud, yet softly.

((I'm feeling so sick, so I'm going. Excuse the poor post))

Zelda stood pressed in between the slim space between a bookshelf and the wall, hardly daring to breathe. She had barely been able to slip in before the Gerudo came by; she was positive she'd knocked something over in doing so, but the other girl hadn't discovered her. In her haste to hide, she'd left the book on the table. Her fingernails bit into her palms as she strained her ears, mentally cursing herself for being so careless.

((Nice name.))

Ganondorf sat back. "Artemis... the Triforce... I could bring it to our aid. Save us from famine. Power to do anything." He seemed staggered still, unable to accept what he had found. "I need the Sage," he mused to himself.
