A door that made up the entrance to the zanpaktou dojo opened and a man with out the standard Shinigami uniform, in fact it wasn't even a shinigami's uniform it was a foot length black Japanese's Tuxedo he wore his Zanpaktou at his side. He eyed the class room noticing two others one he assumed to be the Sensei and the other he figured was another student. "Yo." he said and rested against a wall waiting for others to arrive.

The woman glanced back to the new entry, before turning her head back to the young man.
"Ohayo," she waved a hand dismissively.
"You're not tardy. Seireitei has been under alert, and classes have been suspended in the classrooms, for now. Soon enough, we'll be returning to Sōkyoku Hill, to start the general training again. Instead of holding classes here, in the academy, we've felt it better to keep track of all the students together, in one location. As long as Seireitei remains on high alert, that is."
She raised a brow, and then flashed him a smile.
"I'm Miyoko. You can call me Miyoko-Sensei. I'd give you my family name, but my sibling is also a teacher, so to avoid confusion, we use our given names."

"Class is suspended?" He reached up and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, still seated on one of the floor's tatami mats.
"I must have missed the notice, about both that and the high alert. What's going on?" This is the typists penalty for not reading the back posts, and the character shall suffer accordingly.

He opens one eye while listening to the two of them speak. he laughs and says "so i guess that makes you a lucky fool to end up in the right class room, wonder what would have happened if we weren't on high alert." he laughs again at the other student.

The woman glanced up lazily at the other student, but there was a hard edge around her eyes, one that promised she wasn't nearly as soft as some might think, based on her lazy posture.
She turned back to the student on the floor.
"Several months ago, the Southern 78th District of Rukongai, Inuzuri, was attacked by an unknown assailant. We were put on alert, and the students were moved to the hill, in order to facilitate advanced training classes," she frowned slightly, before continuing.
"More recently, the West, and Northern gates into Seireitei were under siege, and we pushed out two attacking forces. Most of the students have gone to the Fourth Division headquarters, where Hariame-taichou is tending to the wounded. Those who aren't their, are either at their permanent residence, or at the dormitories, depending on where they prefer to be. For now, the enemy seems to have pulled out entirely, but because of circumstances in the past, we're keeping Seireitei under lockdown, for the time being."

He didn't respond to the other student there. Zenga didn't know who he was, and if anything, he was above being chided by someone who he didn't know and didn't matter to him. He finished rubbing the back of his neck, an action with lasted for a few minutes, and then put his hand back on his knee, symetrical to how they other one has been.
"I've only been here a week, so I suppose that's why I don't know what happened a few months ago, but it's kind of bad I don't know the current state of things. I haven't heard anyone talk about it where I live, but I don't think I can fault my neighbors for not showing their anxiety, or being gossips." He gave a wry smile.
"I don't mean to sound dense if you've explained this already, but does that mean I should leave here and head to Sōkyoku Hill?"

Kotoru walked into Zanpaktou Dojo quietly only to find three other people there. He walked up to them and bowed his head, "Good afternoon. Is there a class in session?" he asked in a quiet tone. Kotoru was wearing the academy white and blue robes with his Zanpaktou strapped to his side. He noticed that one of them seemed to be a teacher there so now he really hoped he was not interrupting a class.

He eyes the other student who walks in but makes no greeting. He than unstraps his Zanpakto from his waist, sits down against the wall his Zanpakto resting from the lest side of his body to his right shoulder his right hand rested upon its hilt.

"For now," she glanced back at the other students, nodding to the new entrant.
"You should all return to your dorms, or, you're free to practice as you so choose. When we give the call to return to Sōkyoku Hill, you'll all be informed," the woman stretched slightly, before leaning forward.
"And you don't sound dense at all," her comment was quiet, and there was that not-quite fanged smile on her face again.
"I think, over all, it's better that you ask, rather than be misinformed," she turned her attention to the newest student then.
"Unfortunately no, there isn't a class in session right now. As I just related to this young man," she gestured to the man kneeling on the mats.
"Classes have been suspended here in the schoolrooms until further notice."
She unfolded herself from her chair then, standing, her white floor length haori pulled on over her unique shinigami uniform, her tabi boots making barely a sound, as she headed for the doors leading out of the large dojo.

Kotoru nods at the instructor, "Alright. thank you very much."
He headed to the door the instructor was passing and walked through it. He did not know what to do now. He knew no one from the academy so he could not practice with anyone without it being awkward. He decided to head to the dorms and just relax for a while.

He opens up an eye and noticed the worry on the newest students face and walked up to him before he left. "Name?" he asked and waited for a reply.

He started to nod to the instructor, but it turned into a bow instead as he saw her get up to leave. After she stood he rose himself and looked around. The other two were talking with eachother, and he wasn't feeling very social at the moment. That's not to say he was anti-social as a general rule; he just felt rather awkward during his first day of studies. He'd only decided to try to join the Academy a few weeks ago, when...
He walked out of the room in the wake of the instructor, not following her destination, just her exit. The reason he came here to learn was because he didn't know how to make himself stronger on his own. He remembered, as he left, everything the dojo had in it. He didn't know how to use most of it, and he wasn't going to experiment with it and end up injuring himself or damaging the room's tools. He split off from the teacher's path and, upon deciding that he should see Sōkyoku Hill so he at least knows how to get there when the time comes, began to jog over. Not a sprint, just a casual attempt to get his body going. The damn thing has to learn to obey him, at some point.

Hikari quickly makes her way to the academy. Having been here a few times, she knows her way around fairly well. Her destination isn't the halls of the academy, however. Instead, she makes her way to a building standing off slightly, the library. She wants to learn more and more kidou, and this place seems to be a good place for that.
As she opens the doors leading into the library, Hikari takes a moment to look around. The place really seems dull. It's like the library in that strange inner world of hers. When she was there, she was surrounded by nothing but shelves filled with books. This place reminds her of that. With a smile on her face, she walks over to where she remembers seeing some more kidou books. She figures the chiyu she knows will be fine for now, so she looks for hadou.
When she finally settles on a book, Hikari immediately sets out to read the description. She does so aloud. "Happaji can be a dangerous hadou to use. One cannot utilize its full strength without a desperate life force." She ponders this for a moment. Would that mean the closer the caster is to death...the stronger the spell becomes? She shakes her head. What an odd hadou."

As Hikari continues reading, a few things start to stand out. To her, it feels like the text is saying to link her heart with the kidou, giving it the explosive feel it's supposed to have. She studies the diagram for a few moments, immitating the images she sees. Her hands are clasped, fingers interlaced, over her heart. It makes sense for the kidou. She squints her eyes a bit as she begins memorizing the expected flow of reiatsu.

Aero entered the hallowed grounds of the shinigami academy with a sight sense of awe. It was a grand stage compared to the small shack in which he was living in. He looked around from side to side in search for a teacher, if not another student who could tell him where to start.
