Crow hadn't noticed at first, but as Tai was still able to move he felt a looseness still in the leg, as Tai swung the other leg around Crow realized that the leg was not fully strained, the boy was double jointed. Quickly he rolled off of Tai to avoid the blade, however as he did he made sure to slice the tenden of the leg he had been holding, disabling the leg. He barely managed to avoid the blade, but rolled to safety. "You're not bad, never expected you to be doubhle jointed. But that won't help if you can't use your leg."

(don't worry Talim and Nali are only going to fight if needed)

"Damn, useless thing," he said, looking downward towards his left leg.
He hadn't expected to fail Nightmare so easily, thinking that he would be more than a match for these people, due to the intense and endless training he had gone through to gain this level of combat skill. He raising Meiringan, still looking down at the leg.
"Useless things like this must not keep me from victory." he muttered to himself.

Crow frowned at Tai. "Hey, if it's any consolation, you're the best fight I've had in a long time. And I've fought just about everyone at the top."

"I might as well not even have a left leg if it has become useless so easilly," he said to himself.
Tai lowered the blade to his left leg, preparing to sever it, for it was now just dead weight.

Crow suddenly seemed very upset, staring closely at Tai. Suddenly he began approaching him rapidly. "What the Hell do you think you're doing? What happened to the determination that I was just seeing?" Crow stopped right in front of Tai. "For one, you can still use your leg, it'll just take time and healing. I know that, traveling with Nightmare, you probably aren't one to enter a major city, but that doesn't mean that there isn't help." Crow extended a hand to Tai. "You have not failed your master I'm sure, you fought very bravely, and I take back my accusation of cowardice."

Tai looked up with an evil grin on his face.
"Fool," he muttered, "Such frail creatures are humans, feeling sorry for a person just because they're about to cut off a leg."
Tai quickly turned the black blade to face Crow, swinging it while laughing as though he were insane.

Crow's eyed widened, he quickly jumped back, the blade shaving the ends of his hair, and leaving a small cut on his chin. Crow, still looking shocked, shook his head. "I don't know whether to pity your disposition on humanity, or envy your determination for an end. But you are a steadfast one, I'll say that."
