Aaron didn't seem to hear her. Instead, he braced himself, and leaped in a desperate bid to catch his Treasure before it could slip away.
"Dammit!" Aaron swore loudly as he missed and hit the ground. The shiny thing disappeared under the castle gates. He stood, brushing dirt off himself, not noticing until a moment later that he was standing directly before the group of people from earlier.
"Hi," he glanced at them, before trying to get the dust out of his hair.

"I'll give you a 9.8 for the jump," Artica quipped, coming up at a more relaxed pace now that there wasn't any rush. "The landing needs some work, though."

"Really? The only thing I would've taken points off for was that he didn't catch it. Everything else was so dramatic," Lexenos said with his usual huge smile on his face.

Artica couldn't hold back a snicker at that, so she didn't even try.
"You have something in your hair by the way," she added conversationally to Aaron, who was still trying to rid himself of dirt from his endeavors.

Aaron shot his best glare playfully at Lexenos and Artica before asking: "Oh, do I?"
Aaron then shook his whole body like a dog, and dust flew everywhere.

"The King wants an audience with us, and I'm not sure why yet," Lexenos said as he brushed little bits of dust off of his tunic and pants.

"WE HAVE TO GET IN THERE," Aaron interrupted loudly, breaking into the conversation. "My Treasure is in there!"

Ahren's thin lips curled in distaste as the mage landed in the dirt, sending dust onto her breeches. She watched the shiny object vanish, out of reach behind the gates. Squinting through the gates, Ahren tried to catch a glimse of the strange item, to no avail. The mage yelled loudly, startling her. "Lower your voice," she warned him. "This isn't a good place to exercise your lungs. Things are tense enough as it is without you shouting at the gates." She brushed the dust off her breeches and bare feet, her eyes locked on the mage.

Varnis had stood there, adn stared at the mage. He sighed then started to walk into the castle. "Come on guys, I don't think we should keep the king waiting much longer. He does rule this place you know." He said as he walked into the castle.

Ahren nodded in agreement with Varnis. "I suppose you're right. Maybe he can help Luxran find his sister too." With a last glance back at the strange mage and the woman, she followed Varnis. Her staff lay in one hand, the other arm hanging by her side.
((Wait, were the gates already open? Did we just prance right in a castle?))

"Why were you guys waiting at the gates all this time if you were going to barge right in anyway?" Artica taunted Varnis, not in a hurry to forget their prior meeting, nor his insult.
