The Drilbur saw it coming as he put up his claws. He didn't any chance and he knew it, but yet, he tried anyway. The pokemon's head down ....as he tries to defend himself as best he could ....his feet digging into the ground as he lower his head and tries his best to stand his ground ....there was nothing else for him to do.
He just wanted at that moment ....to get away with his life.

With that final gust of wind it would be over....as Nakano shouted in triumph. Considering how the last one had ended ....there was little doubt as to why she was cheering at that moment. A hop and a skip was in her step as she almost jumped up high enough to touch the Skarmory herself as she passes over once for a landing. The sand skirting upwards.
It wasn't the rip roaring fun that she had before, but it could have been much worst. The fact that it wasn't was a big thrill for her .....as she preen her feathers showed only her pride and her relaxed nature started to shine back in once more ....as Nakano recalls her.
This time, maybe, the desert wouldn't be such a pest this time.
She started forward again.

The final attack was enough, but the Drillbur did managed to keep it's life. Though it was just barely as he lay flat out with his claws spread out wide from his two sides ....and his nose pointed towards the ceiling. His eyes were closed ..but he was still breathing. It would seem that the girl took no concern for his safety as she left him behind in the desert sun.
Open for any predator to claim what she had left behind ...his life.

She would continued her movements through the desert. There was nothing to obstruct her path at the moment, and thus, she walked bravely forward. One step at a time ....as he walks through the hot sands and desert heat. She was still looking for what she had lost last time ...the vulpix.

Two steps more and the girl would be stopped again by a pokemon in the midst of the desert sands. Four of them in fact, all in a square formation ....as the Darumaka were in all snuggled deeply in the sands. It would seem that there was no fight here unless she decided to choose it, and if she did she would find it four on one ....as they seemed to have in their midst a pokemon egg.
Yet, they had planned their formation well ...to take that egg would mean to get into a fight with one or all four. For thoguh there was snuggled deep into the sands it was hard to miss the fact that each of their hands were spread where one touched the other.
An obvious warning ....that they were the ones protecting that egg.
If she was wise she would let sleeping pokemon lie.

Though it was the temptation that kept her there ...four fire types and she knew she couldn't handle not a one of them with her Skarmory. But, Pooka didn't have that problem with fire types yet, and not only that ...but if she did this right it wouldn't even be necessary for her to fight.
Even though they formed a protective square? around the egg ....she saw the opening that was left. From above, if she sent out Suzaku to pluck the egg out of their midst it should work alright.
The girl was smiling broadly.
Though she had no idea what was in the egg, and she would probably bet it was a Darumaku. But if it wasn't, if it was perhaps a Vulpix's egg that they were guarding ....she couldn't help herself as the metal bird would appear.
The girl immediately would call out Pooka as well.
If anything went wrong it made more sense to be ready to fight than to be caught from behind trying to flee.
"Get me that egg, but be careful."
She told the bird as Pooka watches and looks over at the group.

((Darumaku trap ....roll the dice to determine if she managed to get the egg or not. If it's a odd number, the Darumaku will wake up. If it's a roll of a 1, 5, 10, or 15 .... the trap will be sprung. Good luck))
The bird would reach the egg without any problems as the four lay there. A move by the air ....there wasn't any pokemon of the flying type in the desert, and so ...with such a thing in mind ...it made perfect sense as to why they didn't guard against such a thing. Yet, that didn't mean .....that they didn't take some sort of precaution ....as the four slept onwards as the Skarmory would be able to get one talon around the egg before it would happen.

The Skarmory would curl her claw around the egg ....two talons on either side. As she tries to lift back off without causing any problems or setting off the trap. Though she didn't know it was there.

(Yes I would, if you left the egg where it was twisted ))
The wind would buffer then ...as the egg would end up in talons of the Skarmory for but a moment ....as one of them would wake and snatch it back from her claws. A quick hop backwards would have the Skarmory in a circle of three ...as the fourth bounds backward and the one Darumaku with the egg would step back protectively with it.
The other three though had nothing to protect as they prepared for battle.

The egg would be pulled from her claws as she was forced to land on the ground a few feet away empty clawed. Her head was lower as her wings were spread wide .....as her eyes were locked upon that of their opponents. All fire types, this wasn't going to be an easy battle ....as she looks to her partner for this as Pooka would come to her side.
Her claws were ready for battle as well .....as she drew her claws into the earth to send a cloud of sand over one shoulder. Her good luck move ...as she smiles lightly.
This was going to be a battle, and they had no plans of backing down.
Nakano would stand behind them with her arms crossed and a big grin on her face.
"I see we aren't backing down." "That egg will be ours."
She points at them as she twirls a single kunai in her hands. If she needed to ...she would join in as well.
Though for the moment, the three pokemon's speed was faster so her own two went on the defensive to start off with. The steel of the Suzaku's wings would be drawn around Pooka as the pokemon would settle into a defensive pose underneath her metal wings.

Tyson saw the snow everywhere and felt like someone or something was watching him. He looked around and was right, as there was a Swinub standing right there. He knew he wouldnt be able to get around this pokemon, so he nodded, and grabbed a pokeball and threw it, and out popped his Deino.
Deino cracked his neck back and forth and got ready for a battle as it quickly took a defensive stance, getting ready for an attack from the Swinub.

Speed was indeed on their side as the three would aim their attack as the pokemon that was offering herself as some sort of sacrificial lamb. The two sisters would start first as the first would come forward with tackle, ...while the second would yawn deeply.
They knew that a pokemon like a Skarmory was best dealt with by ...putting it down as fast as possible. While the third one .....the only male would start to swung his arms around wildly ....so swift so fast ...that the sands were plowed out behind him in huge scoops as he would move in a whirl of arms and strikes.
All three attacks were trained on the Skarmory, since she was currently shielding the Drilbur.

The snows would seem to gather around her as her eyes glowed. She would start to use ...Secret power as her entire body would soon have that same glow around her ...as it flared in all directions for a moment before reducing itself to a single point on her body.
Her snout as she sent out the icy attack at the Deino.
This was a battle that might not last as long as one would hope ...as she seeked to leave the Dragon type pokemon frozen in place.

In a single move, the Skarmory was almost reduced to nothing. As she took one hit after another, the pain of the tackle was a dull thud, but the Hammer arm sent her flying backwards as she skid in the sands for a few feet ....even as Pooka was left without protection after that. Her eyes narrowed as she looks backwards at the metal bird.
She had saved her ...but it had come at a price.
The Drilbur would aim her claws then .....as she would streak forward. Her claws ready as she would use Crush Claw....at that moment. Her swift movements were aimed at her opponent's unprotected belly as she rushes forwards towards the male first.
Meanwhile, Suzaku would climb slowly to her feet. A yawn escaped her beak ...even as she tries to settle her feathers for a much more protective stance ...as she would open her wings wide. She was feeling the effects of yawn strongly and she knew she wouldn't be able to keep her eyes open ....as she aims her attack for the only one she saw as a true threat at the moment.
She aimed for the male as she would send forth her own ....Ominous Wind.

The battle would end with their hits connecting as the three stopped. A smile was on their face as they saw that they had placed the Skarmory on her back as the two females would slap paws together at that ....as the male stopped his spinning arms to come to a stop with a quick flip. Landing in the ground with his arms held out wide and a big smile on his face as he turns back around to face whatever might come.
Afterall ...he had been the most successful. Though it would seem that that success came with a price as he saw his opponent coming after him ...a swift rush of movements.
He would move to defend ...even as one of the females ...would turn to attack the Skarmory as she ready her own Ominous winds. ANd the other female would move to try and get in front of him....though the question was now of whom would get there first.
