TtheHero Akuyoko More and more, I want to use the stage builder. This video made me realize you can recreate old stages with some skill. o=
All that pwnage right at our fingertips! Mario! Sonic the Edgehog! Snake! Mr.Game and Watch! Birdbrain...(Falco xp ) This is the stuff dreams are made of!!!Who would have ever guessed Mario and Sonic would one day be in the same game? Just 10 years ago they were the bitterest of rivals! Time for My Random Nostalgia-something-or-other speech about the Smash series. The evolution of Smash is pretty amazing, and it's a good example of how far video games have come. The original SSB was kind of... par. The graphics weren't too amazing, even for the day. I mean, most of the items were 2D. There weren't a lot of stages, and only a few characters. But that's what gave it its charm, and this style of fighting game was new. Melee more than doubled the playable character roster and the amount of stages. It added two new single player modes - 3, actually. I forgot about the events - and a few collectible goodies. Even for how awesome it is, the game was kind of rushed to become a launch title and probably could have been even more amazing if they had taken their time. Brawl, in contrast, took all the time in the world to come out (don't we know it). While Melee's graphics were still just average, we already know Brawls aer pretty amazing while still retaining it's cartoony charm. The two prequels were admittedly somewhat half-assed, but still are considered some of the best games ever. With Brawl's tons of new stages and characters, SSE, stickers in addition to trophies, the stage builder, and of course online play, we know this game will be amazing still years from now. I really don't know why I bothered to type that all out xD

That was a good explanation.
Yeah Smash is definitely on a different level in the fighting games genre. It's Nintedo's first endeavor in that field, with damn good results!
Now, what about the things that have been changed between the three games? I'll say what I can about that.
Like Aku said, the items in 1 were almost all 2-D, even the Pokemon. Now in meelee and up all the items, sans the food, are in 3-D. BTW does anyone know if the food in Brawl will be 3-D, aside from the Curry?
Bowser. In Meelee, he looked like he was on steroids! Just look at those legs! But now in Brawl, he looks more like the simple Koopa King we know and love/hate/laugh at.
All the stages that have been brought back (1 to 2, 2 to 3) are kept the way they are, and that's good.
That's all I can really say... I can't think of any person who'd hate this game.
One thing I wish they brought back was that POW Block in the first SMB stage. That made me laugh when I sent foes flying with it!

I have already decided I'm going to go easy in the final battle of round one. I don't feel like going to Round two. I'm just entering to play Brawl 30 minutes earlier.
