Shadow let out a sigh, "It is something for me to worry about. It is important to you there for it is important to me. You are one of my own now, I have to look out for you in what ever way possible." Shadow said as he hugged Luna, seeing that she was crying again. "You mother sounds like she was a greta person, far better than my parents ever were. Don't be afraid to come to me if you are ever in trouble or feeling troubled." Shadow said.

"I slept very well. A great sleep it was and I am in no pain at all." Kashan said before kissing her back when he could. "It really is that nice. To wake up your your beautiful face... it really is liek a dream to me." Kashan said before laughing lightly and sitting up. "So, by the sounds of it we both had a great sleep." he said with a smile.

Luna blushes since its the first time Shadow willing hugged her. "Thank you, master," she hugs him back but pushes him off. She smiles at him, "Dont want your love to have a fit do we." She puts a hand on her hip and looks at him pissed. "What I just remembered something." she looks at him and frowns. "Did you defend me at all with that little incident in the ballroom?" She leans in to him, "What did she call me again?" She smirks at him. "And she thinks im rude." She just looks at him and shakes her head. "ugh nevermind it doesnt matter." She flips her hair into a ponytail. "You said im no ones servent correct." She smiles at him, "well dont ask me to do anything for her," She smirks, "You are my only master so I will not lisent to no one elses orders except yours."

Blade looks at Naomi and Lucian and shakes his head while blocking them. "Do not go there?" He looks at both of them, "Why where you headed over here any way?"

Shadow shook his head, she was right. he did not defend her but he also never said anything to either of them at that time. "I'm sorry Luna. I will defend you int he future. I do not want things between us all to be so... tense. We have to learn to get along with one another otherwise everything will fall apart. I will not ask you to do anything for her in future, only for me. I will ask you for things in furture and rarely command you but when I do give you an order I expect you to obay it for at those times something very serious is happening." Shadow said, he was very serious right now. he had to get this across to Luna since he woudl not have time if something came up, he had to know he could trust her fully and that she trusted him fully.

Kashan streached a little, "Yes, that means that we can dance today for all day. Nothign can stop us now." Kashan said as he turned to look at Sam. He was smiling the same way he was last night, turly happy for everything. "Would you care to dance with me Samantha?" Kashan asked as he offered his hand. "Or perhaps you would liek to shower first and wash the last of the desert from you before hand?" he added joking.

Samantha smiled and clapped her hands together lightly "Yay" she said exitedly before she said "Love you KAshan" she ummbled lioghtly before she blushed lightly "I would love to dance... but a shower sounds in order" she said with a small apologetic smile "I'm not very fond of being near the dester, thing about the desert or having anything to do with the desert, way too warm... and i always get sand in my hair" she said truthfully before she sat up and kissed him lightly again

Shadow nodded, glad to hear that Luna trusted him. "I will not take advantage of your trust Luna. I have lead armies before and I know how important trust is. My peole once willingly followed me to death, not because I ordered them to but because they trusted me enough to beleive that I was doing what needed to be done. I will not betray your trust as many have doen to me." Shadow said in a very serious tone. Now Shadow felt that thinsg could move forward even if it was just slightly, all he had to do now was make sure the servants did not spread rumours about him and Luna as they had a nasty habit of doing. "One day I may ask a great deal from you Luna, but I will only ask. When that day comes you can refuse." he said.

Kashan was glad to see the excitment in Sam's eyes when he asked her to dance. "I love you to." he said as he kissed Sam back, "We are both in dire need of a shower after being out in that place but you can go first. get all that nasty sand out of your hair and other places that sand can only seem to get." Kashan said as he got out of bed and opened the bathroom door for her.

I'm ok, thanks" Lucian says. "So, do you know where Luna is? Or do you have any ideas what we could do?" Lucian asks. He wraps his arms around Naomi and holds her tight.

Shadow nodded, "You never know, when the time comes you might want to refuse." he said and then her words brought him onto soemthing else he needed to talk to her baout. "If you and Blade are not lover then were do you stand with one another? Because I am totaly confused by this all. You know I don't like him but I am willing to set that aside for now as long as he dose not get to close. There are certain things I would trust no one outside of our line with and the simple fact he is feeding from you puts everything in great jeprody of being found. Trust me on this." Shadow said. he wa snot lyig when he said that things were often not spoken of outside of th ebloodline and since Blade had acess to all of luna's recent memories when he fed from her it tipped the delacate balance that Shadow was forced to maintain. Certain secrets had to be kept and that woudl mean killing Blade and anyone else who found out.

Kashan smiled as he felt the kisson his cheek, "Sand just gets everywhere no matter what happens... the stuff has a mind of its own you know." He said before thinking about the question she posed him, "Well, Showers are quick but baths can be far more relaxing you know." he said before wrapping his arms around Sam. "Maybe we could go in for one together hm?" he said with a wink, he was only partly serious about all of this and mainly wnated to see what her reaction would be.

Lucian says, "Sure, sounds good." He pauses before answering Blade's question "No, everything's fine. By the way, you don't mind if Naomi comes with us to the masquerade, do you?" Lucian leads Naomi to the couch and sits down, flipping through the channels on the TV. He stops on an old movie where a woman is being chased by a horde of zombies.
