 Kat appeared from a drk portal, stepping through and raising an eyebrow at the vampires, then at Midian.

'They're just testing my work for me,' Midian grinned, turning to face Kat. 'I thought I'd best knock them out quick before the whole "vampire and werewolves in the same room start fighting" crap kicked off again.'
