She sighs softly. "Kamahl, I thank you for your kindness. It's been great. I guess I may not stay on this plane of living for much longer." She said, her hands trembling.

"Whats wrong with you?" asked neveah looking at her...

Kamahl looked up for a moment. The thought of losing another friend to this war made him slightly upset. While still leaning on the tree, he said, "Layna, I have a plan. There is no need for you to die because of love. I ask you, beg you, that you go back to your room at the shop....I'll keep an eye out for Zarathos. I'll talk to Myythren personally on your behalf. With any luck, I can get her to spare your life and put you into exile."
He sighed at the thought of exile.

Takiko came from the shadows that she is unbelievably familiar with. Ending up right behind Neveah, she let out a soft gasp. For some reason she realized she had missed him, and actually felt like smiling at the same time she saw him. The looming thought of a lycan nearby, or at least a hostile one, tormented her mind too much to be happy in the least bit. Takiko frantically looked around, searching for his scent. Even though she calmed down slightly, it was clear something was still bothing her.

Her eyes widened. "Kamahl, no, I could never ask you to do that. That would be putting yourself at risk. I couldn't stand the thought of you becoming an exile of the pack just because of me."

Takiko silently watched the conversation in front of her. Part of her was still surprised she had kept herself hiden for so long. Most of the time she would jump in a conversation at the first chance she got. Now did not seem like the time. A lycan seemed to be following her, and Layna did not seem to be happy. Takiko had a bad feeling she would only make things worse by bothering them, so she decided to stay to her own, keeping her back against a tree.

"Takiko, please don't hide. This involves everyone who would care to listen." She said, her eyes closed, her hands clutched to her side in an attempt to stop the fear shaking her.

Takiko looked at Layna, with her dark crimson eyes. Takiko looked different than before. She was not hungry, or in pain, as Layna had last seen her. This time she was just content. And she did not want the misery of knowing she might hurt someone's feelings by her rude comments. "... I know how it is to be exiled from an entire race... Especially if you trusted them... It's not a good way to go... But it is better than death..." Takiko's voice was calm and monotone. She did not seem to have any emotion in what she was saying. For if she did reveal any of her emotions, it would be the sorrow she felt from being 'exiled' so to speak, and her fear she was contiuing to feel. "Sorry... I guess I'm not the most helpful today. Anything I say will be insulting, plus... This is between lycans... I don't know what lycans do to deal with their problems..." Takiko looked away from her. Even though she seemed cruel at the moment, she wasn't trying to be. She just had other things on her mind. And it was a completly new concept she was learning, to be nice to lycans. It was a challenge for her to control herself, even though she was friends with Layna, she did not like the rest of her race. "I'm guessing you are in trouble because of Zarathos...?"

"No, but I very much doubt they like the fact I'm with him. The reason I'm going to be in trouble is....I've been giving information on the coming battle, to the vampires. And it seems that has crept up and bit me in the a** because now the Elders know that I told, so now I'm most likely dog meat." She opened her eyes and looked at Takiko. "You're help, trust me. I feel safer with vampires than my own kind right now." She smiled slightly, trying to stay positive.

Takiko noticed she was being positive, and knew she had to burst her little bubble of false happiness. Before she spoke, she let out a soft sigh. "The vampires will drain you of every drop of blood you have before they help a lycan..." When she mentioned information of a battle, Takiko seemed to be interested. She desperatly wanted to know, to be able to get back at the scum of mutts that have ruined her life for so long. Of course, she did not ask, knowing she would only get her friend in more trouble.

"Shall I go down a list of possible vampires I've encountered who have in fact helped me, without killing me?" She was being quite serious, but her voice was still soft and kind.

"No." Takiko did not need to know how many vampires would help her. After she spoke to her, Takiko sat against the tree trunk. Now in black pants and a simple black shirt, Takiko's tattoo's were barely visible through her light black/grey shirt. She couldnt help but think, 'so... I'm the only one everyone would hate...? Only one vampire came to my help when I needed...' In a brief moment, Takiko felt like she was lost in her thoughts and negative emotions, at the same time worried about the war.

"Takiko, are you alright?" She watched her expressions and she seemed rather distraught. "Are you wondering what I've said to the others? I told Rowaneath, and can surely tell you."

Takiko quickly shook her head. "No. It is alright. I will only fight if I am needed..." Even though Takiko had an unimaginable amount of hate for almost every living lycan, she did not need to thrust herself into a war. Death was not something she wanted to welcome at the moment. Maybe... after she trained Neveah like she promised him she would... Then she could join and allow death to overcome her... But what would a voidmaster, someone who has no soul, do in the afterlife? Continual torment in the grasps of the Void...? Death did not seem much different than what she called 'life' at the moment.

She sighed again, and nodded. She was glad to know that. She sat back down and laid, sprawled out on the wet grass. She looked back at Takiko, her grey eyes filled with questions. "You never did get to have that rematch. I would have liked to see it, except this time it would have been without you trying to eat me." She laughed lightly, trying to avoid thinking about the Elders and what would happen.
