"Not exactly..." Takiko began to explain to him. "Just been in seclution for far too long now..." Takiko leaned closer to him. She attempted to get her fangs near him again this time. While one her hands pulled her katana behind him. She noticed how calm he was to her attempting a n** or so. But now as she tried it again, she thrusted her katana at his back at the same time.

"Ah, a katana blade, how comforting. Well it seems to me that normally your kind go after mortals, not immortals." He calmly stepped up and grabbed his book in the process. The sword did pierce his back but wasn't too deep to do much damage. Kamahl reached behind him and felt the blood slowly trickling down.
"Oh well, I have another jacket at home. This is normally the one that I wear on ventures like this." He walked a little closer to her and put some of his blood just below her bottom lip. With that being done, he backed up slowly and grinned a little.
"Taste and be satisfied....I'm sure your curiousity compells you to find out what I am. Taste my lifeblood and know what it is you are so determined to drain dry." Slowly, he slipped his book back into his jacket and stood there.

Takiko licked the blood off of her lip. And was mildly surprised by the sensation of his blood. Of course, it was not her curiousity compelling her to want him...
It was every vampires need for blood. Since she had only had a few drops recently, she needed more. The bit he left on her lip only caused her to crave more. Indeed she did, causing her to lunge herself towards him once more, this time determined for more.

Kamahl quickly sidestepped to avoid her frontal attack on him. With a series of simple gestures, he slipped out a UV grenade and pulled the pin on it. With a firm grip on it, he stood there looking at her.
"Now, that's no way to treat someone you barely know. If you don't know what this is already then I'll enlighten you. This is a UV grenade...it is similar to a flashbang in the sense that it emits light. The only thing is that it emits the stuff deadly to your kind. Ofcourse, you could always back off and be on your way....or you could tempt fate and see what will happen. Your choice...."

Takiko recognized the UV grenade in an instance. She knew she only had a few seconds to save herself. Quickly, she turned and ran as fast as she could. Mid-way into jumping in a tree, Takiko's body faded in with the few limited shadows the tree provided from the UV grenade's light. When the darkness returned to its usual self, Takiko appeared not far from him, on a different tree.
"Now, now. Is that all a mere mutt can do? Throw around a few grenades and scare vampires?"
Takiko had looked down the throat of a lycan and met death face-to-face. Every day she puts her life on the line for two reasons - Her own selfish need of blood, and the want to end the war.
Vampires, Lycans, and demons are the main ones fighting now. All of the demons she grew close to died at the hands of lycans, making her vow to kill every one she met.

"I haven't thrown it yet." He said as he looked down at the grenade. Kamahl wasn't surprised at the fact that she ran up the tree and away from him....it happened a lot. With a flick of his wrist, he threw it about ten feet away from the tree, just enough to scare her a little but not to hurt her.
"You know, nowadays I'm the kind of person that avoids fighting unless it's absolutely necessary. Now, I'm going to give you a pardon for what just happened tonight because I'm in such a good mood. It's good to know though that I haven't lost my touch as far as scaring your kind."
Being close to seven feet tall made him look rather imposing to a lot of people but also quite noticeable in a crowd. In a slow and smooth pace he turned about a walked away. Before leaving he said..."I hope we meet again. It's good to know that there are some who have some initiative nowadays....Oh, and bring your friend with you next time. I'd like to talk with him a bit more as well."
And as quietly as he entered, he exited Central Park and into the shadows of NYC. (exit)

Takiko quietly apologized for her rude behavior towards him as she watched him leave.Not long after he left, she decided to leave as well, feeling the wounds in her stomache slowly open again. With a hand on a slightly bleeding gash in her abdomen, Takiko walked off as well.

Crow walked steadily through the park, his mind clouded with thought. One witness was down, but how many were there? There really was no telling, from his view point at least, how many there were. He was only hoping for it to be three at the most. The possibility of it being more is also very high. He sighed and looked about, things usually happened here in the Central Park so he decided maybe he would hang out a bit out here. Maybe find a vampire or two wandering about.
His pupils twitched, he suddenly felt wrong. That vampire from before....The one I so willingly helped.....He spat at the ground. Damn it! Her scent plagues this area....It sickens me even to think that I helped a vampire survive....I should of put a bullet to her skull while I had the chance....He grumbled and pressed his back against a tree. He slowly grinned, "Maybe a small hunt is in order...."

In a distant corner of the park, a human body fell limp to the ground. In his neck, there were two distinct marks - puncture wounds. It was clear his death was of a vampire.
From where the body fell, a young girl sat high on a branch. This was only one of many of Takiko's recenty feedings. Now she finally felt content with how much blood she possessed.
Takiko knew the fresh kills would attract someone's attention.
Silently, Takiko jumped off the tree, landing silently on the ground. With soft footsteps, she walked through the damp grass on the ground.

Tianna hadn't moved even after everyone else had left. She walked to her favorite tree and leapt into it, curling up in the small hollow that was in the center of the large tree. She quickly fell into a trance like state, not asleep, but not completely awake either. In this state of medatation she could rest and keep her guard up.

She yawned quietly as the last bits of twilight vanished behind the collossal buildings. With Zarathos not with her, she dared not go to his home, so she had slept at her own home. It was a strange sensation not having him with her. But of course she knew he could not be with her every moment. "I'll see him soon...." She mumbled hopefully. She pushed her almond-scented hair back. The smell relaxed her just as much as his presense would have. Strange....I've got more vampire friends then any other....not even my own kind.... She laughed quietly, remembering the previous night. She had been so calm to offer her blood, but it had been a true offer. She would have done it with any of her friends. She yawned again, rubbing the last bits of sleep from her eyes. She sat on an empty bench, staring out over the silent, rippling water of the lake.

She laughs quietly. "You're straight forward for a vampire. I'm glad I left last night. I smell Kamahl. I don't think I could have handled that." She sid, smiling faintly.
