"It's just... it feels like I've become something horrible... to have hurt all those people..."
Damon found himself sinking into the chair, his arms wrapping around his chest. Turmoil flooded inside him as he attempted to sort out the memories of the past few days. He remembered every detail of that one moment, the energies coursing through him for the first time. It was like a dam had burst and everything was rushing out at once until it found its natural flow.
Screams had surrounded him as the energies lashed out, tearing the foundations of the room apart as if it were tissue. falling debris practically disinetgrated when it neared him. All this because he had wanted it to stop. The taunting, the shoving, the mental torture he had undergone most of his life. He had wanted it to end, wanted to make them see how much he had been hurt. And he had gotten his wish...
'I'm a monster...'

"Being a mutant, does not make you a monster, Damon," said the Professor reassuringly. The boy had taken a seat in the chair after his offer, but it did not seem to make him feel anymore comfortable. He seemed to be reliving that moment when his powers first became active.
It was eating away at him, the Professor could tell, but how to help Damon move on from that was the more pressing situation.
"What happened back your school was an accident," started the Professor. "You shouldn't be holding yourself responsible."

Aarin wandered into the Brotherhood mansion, easily slipping through the crack under the front door. He struck a suitably heroic pose as he loudly released his warp. "And the great Outback returns from the very lair of the enemy, alive and unharmed! Victory! Victory!"
Tobias stuck his head out of the kitchen, gnawing on another slice of ham. "Aw, man, put a sock in it. Not in the mood."
"Lemme guess: you wanted to burn something down, an X-Man found you, and things went south so you had to leave?" Aarin didn't even wait for Tobias' answering nod. "I saw him. He's still pissed at you, by the way. Wouldn't be surprised if he came after you. Hell, I don't know why the bloke thought I wouldn't tell you; he knew that I know you. Eh, who cares. I'm heading for the pool if anyone calls, wot wot?" Aarin grinned, gave a wave, and headed upstairs to his room to change.
Tobias merely smiled slowly to himself. He wanted the X-Man to come looking for him. He'd dance with fire before Tobias was done with him.

"But it was my fault. It was me that did all that."
The professor's words weren't really sinking in. Every way he looked at it, Damon clearly saw that it was him who caused the entire ordeal. If he hadn't allowed himself to break like that, then he wouldn't have lost control. It was his fault, he hurt those people.
"Why did it happen? Why did this 'ability' have to be inside me? Why did it just go out of control like that?"

Rogue had been reading for a little while, and had made some progress towards finishing the combat book. However, her mind was restless thanks to the events of the day. So, she put the book aside momentarily, and descided to turn on some music. She didn't want anything too distracting, but rather something soothing that would help her consentrate.
She flipped through her CDs for a minute before finding what she'd been looking for. "Ah ha! I found you," she declaired to no one in particular. Then, she inserted the disk and pushed the play button, only to find that the volume was way too loud. The speakers instantly blared and caused her to leap a foot in the air. Glad no one had seen, she quickly turned down the volume and tried regain her composure. Once her pulse was back to normal, she returned to her spot on the bed and began the next chapter.

Sara walked Blade to the school. "It can get a bir crazy here at times but it's really good fun." She said opening the door and letting her inside before following her and shutting said door. "Okay, I'm guessing the first think you'll need to do is see the Professer. He's in charge of the registrations and all that jazz." She remembered he was seeing someone at the moment. "But he's probably seeing another student about getting him all set and settled so we've got a bit of time before he can see ya."

Lizz got up tucked a towel around her waist and walked back inside leaving her silent pool partner in the water. She strolled into the kitchen barefoot and smelled pizza. "Hey, any of that pizza left?" She asked no one in paticular.

"A second set of hands would be very beneficial." He conceded after a moments thought. "Consider your offer accepted hen, but I won't be putting the plan into action just yet." He kept the car going at a good pace up the quickly clearing street. "I have yet to work out the details like; which room. what time and who'll likely be up and about." He caught the glowing sign of a bank just before it winked out as it closed up and made a mental note of the ATM machine outside. "But before all that comes the acquiring of the missions resources." He said, more to himself than Victoria. "I hope this place is still open when we get there, this town seems to shut real early." He added.

Pulling her hands back behind her head, Victoria smiled in a satisfied sort of way and made herself comfortable in the passengers seat once Conner agreed to let her tag along in his plans for revenge. From he had previously told her and what she had figured out for herself, Conner had the who, what and why out of the 'who', 'what' and 'why', which of course left the 'when', 'where' and 'how for them to figure out. Sinking lower in her seat, she mulled over all this as Conner griped about early closing hours of stores in this area.
"Damn. Stuff does close early down here," she repeated, flat-out surprised to see the Liquor store on her left close up for the night. Seeing this as extremely unfortunate on their part, she sulked for an instant before turning to asking Conner another question.
"Conner, what store is it that you are planning to hit right now?" she questioned, curiously.

Blade silently went with Sara. There was one fear that she had. One undescribable fear. Fear that she would have to contact her parents in order to get into this school. However, Blade hid that fear very well. She only smiled and nodded to Sara. It wasn't as if she had an unpleasent childhood, on the contrary. She was a great childhood until her powers came out. Then she ran. Not because she wanted to or was afraid of her parents' reactions, rather, she was afraid of hurting them.
But Blade refused to show that right now. She had to be strong and she didn't have time to wallow in her pity. All Blade really had was a chance. And she would take this chance if it was right for her.

(Kotoren, I'll be playing the Professer for this post or two, All ready have the okay from Onion.)
The professer sighed to himself. Damon was fixated on the fact that it was his power that had done that. What happened was an accident. Xavier knew that and now had to bring Damon around so that he could see it as well. "Damon what happened was an accident, you were pushed to that point. Many of the students here have had similar experiences." He explained in a gentle tone of voice. "It happened because you were not ready to handle that kind of output that was forced upon you by your pent up emotions." He said calmly. "But that's why you're here. To come to understand this power you possess and to learn how to control it."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sara smiled at Blade. "So ya'll want the mini tour? I'd give you the full scale tour but I'm none to familiar with the place just yet." She explained cheerfully.

((Alrighty. No complaint from me. Just for the record, italics mark Damon's thoughts. Onion responded to something earlier but I passed it off as something that he could have uttered out loud. ))
Damon didn't reply to this, silence occupying the room. His eyes remained fixated on the floor yet were distant, unfocused. It was obvious that he lost amidst a sea of thoughts, memory clashing with feelings of dread. But, there were certain things that he began to grasp at to bring them together.
'Pent up emotions... wasn't ready to handle it... I hide so much from the pain, yet don't think on how much that could affect me. If... I learn to control this... this power... then I could prevent something like that from happening again. I don't want to hurt anyone... I'm a mutant and there is no changing it.'
He emitted a soft sigh, raising a hand to his eyes. He had been through so much so quickly. But there were still some things he needed to know.
"What... happened... with my town?"

Blade blinked in surprise. "You're new?" Sara did not seem new to this place. But then again, Blade did over think things most of the time. The surprised look turned into a smile. "Sure. If that's alright."

"Hit?" Conner asked. "Depends on how you mean to term the word." He stopped at the traffic lights as they shone red and waited for the stream of traffic to disappear. "If you mean which store are we going to to buy goods then whatever is bloody closest. If you mean what store am i going to steal from, then I answer that with 'none'." The traffic subsided and the light winked green. Conner nosed the convertible out into the junction and caught sight of a bright glow from a large building to his left, he wrenched the steering wheel around and headed straight for it. It was a 24 hour type place, all harsh lights and glass to welcome shoppers. "This should be perfect for the vittles and such." He slowed and turned into the carpark. ...then U-turned back out and drove back the way he came, all the way to the closed bank. "And now I go about acquiring the resources to buy my assorted items of revenging." he said in a whistful voice. He slowly crawled past the ATM, checking both sides of the street for cameras, surprisingly he found none but there was bound to be one in the off-licence that had closed, no matter though; it would be a cheap camera that displayed a grainy out of focus picture every ten seconds. He turned the convertible into an alley way and stopped the engine. He turned to Victoria. "What I'm about to do now is highly illegal. If you want no part in this or do not want me to do this I would understand perfectly and conced to your wishes." He told her, keeping his voice as serious as he could while trying to fight the elation that coursed through him whenever he did things like what he was about to do. He grabbed his bag and hefted it's weight in his right hand, the metallic items within went klink in a conspiratol way.

Once the engine stopped, Victoria turned her head and listened silently to what Conner had to say, both eyebrows edging up to meet her hairline as he did so. Once he finished, he nodded his head slowly in comprehension as she mentally weighed her options. On one had, she could come with with Conner, commit an illegal act and risk getting caught and/or killed in the process, or stay here in the convertible, all alone in an unfamiliar part of town. The third option of just backing out completely did not even occur to her.
"I said I was in, Conner," she reminded him with a shrug as she stepped out of the convertible. Eyeing the bag he had just pulled out of the backseat, she suddenly realized that Conner was 100% serious about what they were about to do, but that hardly phased her.
"Conner," said Victoria, looking back at him from across the car. "You know I like you as a person and all, but, let it be known; if we caught, I'll rat you out in an instant..."

(Don't forget Xavier can read minds. xd )
The Professer nodded feeling him start to come around some. "Your town?" He asked before understanding. "They've been told that what happened was that the explosion was the results of a faulty gas line that had ruptured. The spark that started the blast were caused by some students smoking." He explained the official view of what happened. "There were no serious injuries." He added not mentioning that he nudged the people who actually witnessed the event to forget that it had been Damon who had caused it. The boy had enough troubles right now without having to deal with that kind of fall out.
---------------------------------------
Sara nodded. "I just got here earlier today." She admitted not mentioning that she had all ready been involved in an adventure to save the world and had been knocked out by a rampaging killer. "Of cource it's all right. Common." She said turning and leading her deeper into the building.
