Our characters had no way to know what was happening at the church. My bird wouldn't have been able to see the sproutling/tree thing inside a church and he saw fires at the fountain. So we went where our characters knew there was trouble.

Edit: Also, for Fenrir:

The Viceroy has the abilities of all the petal holders, Gammu ran off by himself and started fighting Viceroy alone, and everybody at the temple besides Vahn and Alex have gone to the fountain to fight Viceroy. At the Gothic Church there is some weird sproutling and an chaos lady. That's where Vahn and Alex went.

We all sat and ate when someone got stabbed to death.
I doubt they will mourn Athan's passing either. sweatdrop

...As I went and posted in JB's guild at last.

Totally could not think of a character - so I just started typing. And ended up not even introducing the character but abusing my right to have NPCs. And setting up a big introduction for myself that actually reachs most of a city.
