The Doctor 2005
Don't worry Haur, even if we don't see eye to eye on movie relating topics, there is still love.

and Stray, you are a more ambitious man that I. I may consider myself open minded but to actually play all games to give it a fair rating? That is far more than I'm willing to do... kudos!

Hauraunah

Jude Law fitted the appearance of Sherlock Holmes better than Robert did.

I agree with you on this, but I still think that Robert Downey Jr fits the Tony Stark role.

Eric Coldfire
Nightmare tilted his head "Mira?"

wow, nobody mentioned the Blade movies.

Spider-Man: great set and intro for the very few people that don't know Spider-Man, badass looking Green Goblin, had points, quotes, and plots from the comics.

Spider-Man 2: more depth from the comics, more character depth, awesome Doc Oct.

Spider-Man 3: Venom was awesomely designed, Venom was awfully played, emo Parker and gay dancing is not cool, Sandman isn't the most well known Spidey villian, Gwen Stacy is a plus but badness of MJ countered, tried too hard to please everyone, with too many plots from comics.

X-Men: great cast of characters, great set up for people that didn't know them, awesome effects of powers.

X2: more characters (hell yeah Nightcrawler's attack on the white house) depth and background of Wolverine, intro to phoenix.

X-Men 3: why didn't the director and Cyclops leave to do Superman? WHY?!?! *cry* anyway, more characters, plots from comics, the only thing that kept Last Stand from being just as good as the first two was the change in directors.

Origins: few complaints, adamantium bullets, cycolp's optic blast is not the same as heat vision, Deadpool complainers. Wade Wilson isn't Deadpool yet quit chur bitching. Everything else was really good, can't wait for sequal.

Fantastic Four: not the biggest FF fan but nice intro.

Rise of the Silver Surfer: could've been better, could've been much better, didn't need a human torch swapping powers or a "fixed" Doctor Doom.

Hulk: too emotional, not enough "Hulk Smash!!!" moments, liked the Hulk Dogs.

Incredible Hulk: much much better.

Iron Man: badass.... pure and simple.

Ghost Rider: good set up but could've been darker.

Punisher: liked it, like the look and feel.

War Zone: was alittle closer to the comics in brutality, would've been better as a sequal instead of a reboot.

Blade: a vampire's worst nightmare, and a great movie.

Blade 2: awesome movie, better and bloodier then the first.

Blade 3: nnnnn went alittle down hill but Ryan Renolds' moments made it bareable.

I believe that's all of them.

Ha ha! You guys aren't even listing any of the DC movies! I'm sorry, but I'll watch any Marvel movie rather than any DC movie. With the exception of the first three Batman movies, of course. I don't care how much Tim Burton ******** up the story lines, they are works of art (well, the third one wasn't Burton, but it was still good). Now, if they could make a DECENT Green Arrow movie, that would be amazing!

The Doctor 2005
and someone else starts chatting with their friend
I'm sorry, I've always had to make some sort of comment during a movie. It doesn't matter what movie it is. This tradition started when I went to go see Braveheart in theaters (Yes, I was able to go see it.) I made comments during Halloween II (Rob Zombie did an amazing job), Catwoman, I, Robot, and many, many other movies. I can't help it, I'm sorry.

That's because he's the Marvel out of the two of us, believe it or not, hence the lack of DC movies......that and the fact there are practically 5 recent Marvel films to 1 recent DC film........

do we REALLY need to go over the flaws of DC's movies?

Catwoman, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, Superman Returns. Are the flaws not obvious?

Frankly, I hate Heath Ledgers take on the Joker.

The Clown Prince of Crime =/= The Sweaty Slimy Makeup Schizo of the Oscars

Nightmare, Eric, and Edward watch a clip of the Star Wars 'Make a Wish' carwash fundraiser as Slave Lieas lead by Padme Amedala wash cars with spounges and various parts of their body, guarded by stormtroopers, ewoks, and emperial guards.

I love Star Wars.

Nightmare nodded "what's not to love."

Edward salutes the tv "to the brave men of the 501."

DC hasn't done so much in terms of live action movies perhaps BUT they made for it I think considering their recent titles being The Dark Knight and Watchmen.

Keeping in mind an earlier statement of mine that the movies are a new universe of the characters we know with similarities and differences to keep it new and interesting, the DK movie was awesome. It had a lot of twists, insane stunts and the Joker really made you want to be repulsed, which I think is important for a villain of his design. My only real problem with DK was the director's decision to make things as real as possible because in doing that, it really shortens the roster of possible villains and allies that could appear in future movies. Now sure there are a few more villains that are not mutated or super powered he could pick from like the Riddler, Mad Hatter, Zasz and Clock King but looking over that list... sorry to say but I really think only the Riddler could be taken seriously in a major film and with the rumour that went on about Eddie Murphy being the candidate... I'm sorry but I think they've already shot themselves in the foot.

Now I know a lot of people who didn't like Watchmen due to not making sense of the film but having read the original book first, developed my own sense of the characters and atmosphere only to watch the movie on the big screen and see exactly what I saw come to life..? I was in awe, absolute awe and I could not believe how accurate the movie was to the book. I for one loved the story line and I liked the alternate ending a lot better I must say, it made a lot more sense and on top of that... the actors chosen were spot on. No I don't mean just Rorshach, I mean everyone. They looked the part, they acted the part and hell, they sounded the part. In my mind, that movie was the best damn thing to happen to comic book movies hands down.

I agree with the Doctor.

Here's a thought though... What if they made a new villain for Batman? They did it in TAS, and Harley turned out pretty damn good. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is what I was doing, which is combining them and doing wild tangents.

Tom and Clockwork are two such tangents.

Speaking of which, I still need to finish his profile...
