With 3 out of 4 Heads of House voting, we are extending most of the House Appreciation contests until September. Exact day TBA, but each Head may chose to end an individual contest sooner. Several students and Heads have wished for more time, and tek-tek went glitchy when people worked on the tek-tek duos.

Kitsune: Wow--that's like double the price! The values of things are ridiculous, and becoming even more so. Oh well...it'll pass.

Okay, I've finally made it. Ah, I love those tektek contests almost as much as the drawing challenges. :3 Anyway, here's my answer to the House Appreciation Month contest number 5! Head of the House (Lady Healing Hands) and a student (that is me) dressed in House Colors. Enjoy. whee



I guess it should be posted here. However, I hope it wasn't supposed to be a double tektek made using only those items which we have in our inventories xD because I have very little of blue-colored clothes...

Hi, all. How was your weekend? I spent all today's day on searching for tutorials and drawing in Photoshop. T-T' Gah, I feel pretty numb now and tired and not very happy... Why? Because I have some coloring problems... I don't know when I'll learn how to color the 'soft way'... I'm trying but still, no satisfying results... And it's terrible, because I have a fresh lineart to color! >,< I was sitting by my desk on yesterday midnight, watching some AMVs about Avatar on YouTube when suddenly I had a brainwave D: (why not to ship Aang... with Zuko? o_o). I'm not a hardcore yaoi fan, I choose those pairings very carefully (even if this one seems to be, huh, strange - it was such to me too until yesterday D:'), and these two are just too cute together to be ignored. I was asking myself - why I didn't think about it sooner? Well, the outcome was that I spent 3 hours (at night) making successively: pencil scetch, ink lineart and a scan to put it into Photoshop. And today was the day to put the ground colors which took another several hours from my precious life (yeah, I'm slow). As I said, I've been even trying to color it but with no results. T-T" I mean, I CAN color it with sharp shadows and stuff, I'm good at this. But I still would like to make this pic look more climatic and soft coloring is a way to it... What do you think? Should I try make it soft (which I don't know how to make/can't make with my archaic Photoshop 6) or sharp (which I'm quite good at)? ;_; Now when I think about it I'm starting to wonder that maybe it is possible to make a romantic atmosphere with only sharp shadows, but... Argh, I don't know! I'm so helpless and dumb... T-T""" So, yeah. That's pretty much all of it. Even If I'm doing something that I love there are still such things that are so irritating they can kill. Sorry if I made you bored. :')

Aaaaanyway. I've made a break to make something different... And I really liked Kitsune's present avatar... so, yeah... A chibi thingy for Kitsune. O.O' It was fun to make. ^^ I hope Kitsune like it.


I am not sure about the Ravenclaw's Head of the House, but I believe it's prof. Flitwick. :s

When we were told our grades of our English exam three - four weeks after we had it, I was sure I'd forgotten to add a title to the story! NOW I remember that I had a title, and even what the title was! o.o

Paraphernalia - wow, I'm not the only strange one. o_o' wink Yeah, I think I'll go for the hard line as in Kitsune's art. I'll try to make it as good as if it was made the 'soft way'. :3 There is no point in destroying a good lineart with a bad coloring.
