Amelie sobbed a little more but nodded weakly as she rubbed her eyes. "Sometimes sister would eat bread in the night." This only made Amelie sadder to remember it. "Come to think of it, she ate so much of it that there wasn't much left anyway." Amelie glanced around the room then made a face. "Wait a second." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a note. "Sister gave me a note this morning before she left." She slowly put it back into her pocket. "I'm not too sure, but.. I think she knew she was going to die today." Amelie was onto something, however unaware of the significance of it.
Kiera pushed Evelyn's hand away. "Yes Evelyn, I know." Kiera's eyes flashed a second and looked towards the door. "It'll be fine, though. We're fine." Evelyn scoffed. "If you say so. You better look after your little brother a little more, though. He's out there in the rain with a dying vampire after him. Not exactly ideal."
Dante stopped right in the center of the forest and looked around himself with paranoid eyes. He just wanted to be away from everything. Away from all the others. His aunt was gone now because of him. That fact wouldn't escape his mind.

*Veria froze and crouched down to amiele again looking dead serious, "let me read that note in your pocket." She glared ," i'm serious, even i fit was to you, it may be exacly what i'm looking for. If you got that asumption of of the note then it may be a vary important clue as to whats really going on."
Meanwhile Cresent carryed on still, but was getting too weak now. She pulled out on of her sowrds, however it was a bit to havy for her as she used it as a cane to drag herself further. She was doing well to keep up behidnt he running pup as she saw him in the distance, "you more you run from yourself the less of yourself you will have!" He vioce echoed around him as she appeared in veiw and stopped just before him again. She was leaning on the sword as if she was just about to fall, "you weren't named Donte's Inferno by accident..." she replied as she cought her breath, "instead of blaming yourself, you should stop and take a breath for a moment." She then said one of the most usful things to donte that may echo in his head for a while, "when one is lost in the rain, with water pouring from there eyes..." She fell to her knees and the sword fell beside her ont eh ground, "seek... your..." she couldn't finish as she flopped forowrd onto dontes shoulder, finally past her limets. Her brathing was low, her skin was now looking as if rotting, burned with fourthdegree burns, a slight shiver pulsing through her. She was too weak to move now, she did her best.

Amelie blinked a few times then pulled the note out of her pocket again. "There's something else going on?" She said innocently. Unfortunately for Amelie, unbeknownst as she was, there was something going on. Some great master plan that was happening under all of their noses. Amelie carefully handed the small note to Veira. It read; 'Dearest sister, I'd like you to look after yourself, okay? One day I might not be here, and you must be prepared for that. I'm sorry however, I don't mean to alarm you with this note. I just feel.. threatened at the moment. Something may happen at any time. Don't take this too seriously. I'm just taking a precaution. I love you, sweet sister. And if anything does happen... stick with Dante and Veira, all right? I trust them with all my heart.' Amelie looked away sadly. "I didn't know what to do.."
Kiera went silent as she sunk to the floor again. Evelyn showed a little tenderness. "I'll leave you, then." She trailed out of the room, shutting off the light again to leave Kiera in the dark. Evelyn then made her way over to Hikari's body and crouched down next to it. "Slightly charred." She knew she was being insensitive but she didn't really care. "Of all the people to die. I'd have never thought Hikari would be next on the list."
Dante froze and his eyes dilated. He became aware of his surroundings again. And then Crescent, just there. Dante took action quickly, pulling Crescent to a dry bit of grass and standing over her to keep her from the rain. There, he howled. Howled louder than he'd done before. He forgot about all his sorrow and self loathing, concentrating on Crescent.

*Veria nodded and patted Ameiles head, "well thanks to you coroprating maybe someday we may know what to do. For now, Hikari is infact gone." She looked sadly to the note, "she trusted me with all her heart... i will not let her down." She looked to ameile, "which means your going to have to trust me okay. Be as strong as you can about this. I will find out what i can." She stood up stright. "And tonight... you will not sleep alone. I promes." She headed out and looked to Ameile, "i never thought of this day. Nor had i for once forseen it." It was true since she did what she did with Cale, she hadn't many visions at all, a few tiny one's but nothing like she was.
Meanwhile Cresents condition was worsing even still. The wet air even hurt her, even when in a dry spot, she was still outside in the wether. She was to outbeat to speak or open her eyes... and she lost consness. Right now it was up to Donte on Cresents life. Where would he take her, what would he do. The choice was up to him for once, no one else would know what was happening out there. This was no time to panic as Yuji spoke, "it's time to be a man Donte." As if that would really explain everything yuji ment.

Amelie followed after Veira curiously, although still had to rub her eyes of tears. She could be with these people more comfortably now, however that wouldn't stop the yearning for her older sister that would never fade. No more would Amelie wake up to Hikari's breakfasts. No more would she follow her around like a little duckling from day to day, doing exactly as she did. Her elder sister was lost, now. Gone from her life. Because of one unfortunate lightning strike. "So someone killed her, on purpose." Amelie assumed. From Veira's serious talking that's what she inferred.
Dante panicked. He wasn't cut out for this. Crescent was going to die if it was all left up to him. He'd led Hikari to her death, hadn't he? Now Crescent was going to die too, because of him. "I can't do it. I can't do anything." He growled and ruffed his fur up. For one thing, he had to get Crescent out of the rain before there was any more time for beating himself up. He growled again and he roared in unison with a crack of thunder. 'Rain rain, go away, come back another day' Dante suddenly calmed at the sound of Hikari's voice, and he lifted his muzzle to the sky. The rain came to an abrupt stop, and the trees parted by the wind. The sky opened up, clouds moving apart and some stars shone through the dark.

*Yuji didn't here the sound of hikaris vioce, however he did hear what donte had said, "son there is a time and place for every thing. By putting herself in her hands, she is trying to show you somthing." His vioce however faded, "donte?" He noticed donte was calmer.
Meanwhile Veria nodded, "maybe. However this isn't somthing you are to get involved with just yet. She has left you in my care, and i will find out what happened to her. But yes, i feel that lightning strike was no accident. It could have been the shimigami somehow, the gods, saten, the internal rath of a demon trapped inside a storm cloud. I dont know yet, but i will find out."

Amelie swallowed hard but nodded. "A-all right." What Amelie didn't understand, and probably wouldn't understand until the day she died, is 'Why Hikari?' Her older sister was the nicest person she'd ever met and ever would meet. Why would someone have a grudge against Hikari? No one disliked Hikari. She never did anything wrong.
Dante lowered his head and his eyes grew drowsy. "Auntie.." Hikari, in spirit form, stood right before Dante with her regular smile. Her figure was faint, and there was a small line of blood that went from her temple down her face. "Dante." Dante couldn't believe that it really could have been Hikari standing in front of him now. "Dante, we don't have much time." Dante's eyes snapped open, and he now focused on her. "I got rid of the rain for you. However it won't be gone for long. You must take Crescent to somewhere safe. Take her to Moon. She'll know what to do." Dante's eyes filled up with water. "Auntie.." Hikari smiled. "Go on. You don't have much time." Dante wept. "Auntie I'm so sorry. I didn't mean any of those things." Hikari smiled more and stroked Dante's head. "I know. I forgive you. Be a good boy, now." Hikari kissed Dante's head. And with that, there was a sharp burst of light, and Hikari faded into the wind.

*Yuji was silent. Did Hikari... go to heven so that hell would not take her? If so he was happy for her. She deserved a better place then where he was going to drag her. "Goodbye Hikari..." yuji replied faintly.
Meanwhile Veria came down stairs and walked into the room with keria. Course she blended ever so perfictly with the shadows, "Sister..." she then suddenly felt somthing and turned to the window. She felt somthing... odd in donte. She walked over to the window and peered out. She then pointed, "DAMN IT I KNEW IT! GOD TOOK HER AWAY FROM US!!!!" He yelled angerly shakin gher fist, "I"LL GET YOU FOR THIS GOD!!!" what was funny, is she really belived it. As a deamon she was on satens side, where hell resided, so she was aginst heven altogether anyways. No one would ever want to excape a heven. Which ment she had no way to ever get Hikari back.
Meanwhile shortstraw on the couch looked to evelyn, "where is she evelyn. I know you have a good idea. Your good like that. Where is Hikari now. What happened to her, and why did such happen. Can you answer any of those?" He asked looking to her as if only hoping she could answer any one of those questions.

Evelyn yawned and patted Hikari's shoulder before she stood up. "Hikari's in heaven. Where she belongs." Her eyes thinned. "She originally was going to hell. In fact there was some debate about it, too. But, of course, God named Hikari's soul too pure for a place like Hell, and snatched her soul out of Satans grubby little hands. Satan was going to take her because we upset one of his advisers, The Shinigami king. Satan didn't like how me and Paradioa talked to him." She shrugged. "Even so, Satan is buried to his waist in ice, so he couldn't exactly stop God from taking Hikari." Evelyn finally looked to Shortstraw. "However, when it's time for Yuji to be dragged into Hell, Hikari will be ripped from Heaven. That connection hasn't faltered. And God isn't changing an unbreakable bond." She then looked back to Hikari with an indifferent expression. "Even so, I do not know the terms of why she had to die. But I can tell you that it was staged."
Dante didn't waste any time. He hoisted Crescent onto his back and ran faster than he had ever done to get to the underground base. He had to get to Moon, just like Hikari said. Just had to keep running. Keep running before the rain came back.

prophet watched from the door, leaninf onto the wall. "For a demon to go to heaven is a honor. She had a good life, no one could take that away. I understand you guys are mad, but, God is the creater of the universe, his will is everyone's will." Prophet said, looking at them with sad eyes. He had his armor off, his black shirt was showing, along with his dark blue jeans. But something was different; he had a scar over his right eye, it made him look feirce, but in tis state, he'd rather stay with his friends instead of hunting. Prophet sighed sadly, and said, "I'd rather stay here with you guys then go up to heaven without any notice." Prophet left the roomm, for a important buisness matter at a forest.

*As Donte rushed into the medical room Moon jumped to see cresent in such a state, "Oh my god! I did not expect this!" She had him place Cresent down on the table. She checked her heart rate and and burns, "this is unlike her. She knows more then anyone the damiges rain can do... usally she lectuing me about it..." she looked sadly and stood up, "bagged blood will not do. We have no choice but to get a fresh supply..." She looked to donte with haist, "the quicker we get fresh blood into her, the easer it will be for her to heal." She nodded.*
meanwhile Shortstraw nodded, "i thought somthing like that would happen. Though i am supprized that he would not break that curse yuji put on her by accedent." He shrugged, "one last question evelyn." He looked ot Hikari, "how do you know all that?"
Meanwhile as Veria continued to yell and shout, stomping outside and litarly standing infront of the castle just going off at god, Pardioa's eyes appeared in the dark room, "Misssstresss... do you wish to..." if he could shudder he would, "talllkk....?"

Evelyn looked back to Shortstraw suspiciously. "I felt it as soon as Hikari's soul left her body. I'm a Daemon, Shortstraw. I saw her soul pass into the ground. And then rise from the ground into the sky soon after." She looked back. "The rest is assumption. And clear prediction. I can't see any other explanation for such weird events." She shut her eyes. "Now it's just a matter of finding out who killed her."
Kiera stared at the floor, eyes as illuminating in the dark as Paradioa's were. "One thing, Paradioa. I must ask you something first." She glanced up to him with her dead eyes. "You really follow me through any endeavor? No matter the scale or severity of the consequences?"
Dante looked with panicked eyes down to Crescent. "Just use mine! I don't really care. I don't know. How much does she need?"

*Paradioas eye nodded, "yes other then the distruction of youuuu... what would you have me doooo mistressss?" He asked, unsure if it would be something actully challenging for him.
Meanwhile Moon shook her head, "no thats not how we work." She had to move him out of the doorway to get out fo the room, however she didn't want to leave as she spun around, "we are cursed. Who we bite, we either have to kill, or dies from the bite. Donte... this is a really dark side of what we are. However i do not want to leave her there like that. Stay here, I will go find someone she can bite. I know it's evil and wrong, but thats just what we are, and what we have to do to survive. Stay with her for me." She turned and ran. A few minets later though she pulled a body into the hidout and then into the medical room, "well i feel better about it this time, i found this one already dead." She got the man to cresents mouth and fourced her jaw and fangs in the persons neck. As the man was drained of his blood he shrivled up, looking like a mass of old wrinkles as finally cresent coughed and the drained man fell tot he floor. Moon then pulled up a seat for her and donte. "now we just sit and wait."
Meanwhile shortstraw nodded, "for once i'll leave that to the girls. Somthing i can't... make myself do you know." He nodded, "i sure hope she's in a better place. I also hope donte comes back." He frowned.

Kiera looked back to the floor. "I'm not making you do anything. Yet." She shut her eyes as she held herself in the darkness. "But I will need your assistance very soon. And these conversations must stay between us. No one will know that we discuss these things." She said with the utmost importance. She slowly stood up and braced herself against the wall. "But first you must know one thing." She looked to Paradioa again, licking her lips with a small smile. "I killed Hikari."
Dante watched them very closely. He wasn't going to complain, however he did wish there was a cleaner way of dealing with things. However then again they wouldn't have been in this situation if Dante hadn't ran out into the storm. He wished that Crescent hadn't followed him. Although he might not have cooled down otherwise.
Evelyn chuckled. "Dante's fine. He got into a little scrap with Crescent but now they're sorting her out." She smiled as she looked to Shortstraw. "And you'll probably get dragged into it anyway, Shortstraw." She glanced down to Hikari's body. "Do you think we should bury her?"

*Shortstraw looked to Hikari, "i dont know what her barral wishes would be. Some perfer ashes. Others just a coffen in a mosilaum, some barryed to never be seen again. I think... a mosilaum... just in case. But thats..." he looked up, "not up to me."
Meanwhile Pardioa's large grin appear with a chukkled, "I seeee vary well mistress. Call for me when you want me to act." he chukkled again as he faded leaving no traces as to anythign said. Best part about parioda, no one woulc intarigate him, when he left there was no traces. But at this point Veria was on the roof at the tallest point yelling at heven now, ranting on on how they took hikari from her grasp and bla bla bla. it was sorta funny to the towns people.
meanwhile Moon nodded, "Our curse is by our bloodline. When one is bitten by a female on our side of the family, we would share a brainwave linked to that of who we have bitten. Thus you connect to the person mentally. But that turns them into whats called a MindGoul. Slowly they will get worse and worse when it comes to the mistress that bit them. Obsessed to kill any that looks at them, speaks of them... and things get even worse from there. My mother was killed from one she bitten when i was little... Cresent kills anyone she bites. And i eat out of transfussion bags since our... insident with Daren." She shook her head, "anyways we shouldn't talk about any of that. I could tell form the burns... this isn't from the summet. She chose to be int he rain for some reasion." She looked to Donte, "i dont need to know why. It's as i said unlike her." She looked back. After a long pulse she spoke in a whisper, "do you see those studded belts she waes alover her body Donte?"
