Kane smiled at his companion as he said, "I'm glad you were able to catch up, this is the Mizukage's tower. I figured it would be polite to introduce ourselves before we roam around his village, but he hasn't said anything since I knocked on the door a moment ago." Kane shrugged and then knocked on the door once more, he didn't want to be rude, but he did need to get down to business.

"Certainly busy in here today," Luo thought to himself as he stated once more, "Please come in." He then looked at the girl and smiled softly as he slowly looked up at her, his hat covering the brim of his nose and his eyes, holding his hand out to her for her to shake it as he dipped his head down for a moment as a small bow back to her. "I see. And may I ask what your name is and what village you hail from?" Luo could tell by her body language and speech pattern that she seemed very nervous. He found that his new position caused him to hear and see this dilemma on a daily basis.

Kane strode into the room and bowed to the Mizukage, as he straightened back up he saw Enzeru and smiled to her saying, "I thought you would already be knee deep in your training Enzeru. Did you just arrive?"

Luo nodded calmly to the boy as he looked at the two, guessing that they knew each other and were possibly from the same country. He then politely looked at the boy, his head lowered a bit as he patiently waited for the boy to state his name and his reason for arriving in Kiri.

Turning back to the Mizukage, Kane's face became more serious as he bowed once more to him, "forgive me sir, I haven't seen Enzeru for several days, I was a bit surprised to see her here is all. But anyway, back to why I am here. My name is Kane Uchiha, of Kusa no Kuni. This is my second time visiting your village; I came before to learn from Blade", Kane shivered as he mentioned Blade's name. "That was... an experience. I am here on orders from the Kusakage to receive a scroll for the Infinite One Sword Style, and a unique sword for my personal use."

Yuudai walked in and stood next to Kane. He bowed to the Mizukage "Hi I am Yuudai, I am also from the grass village." Yuudai said and stood back up. "The Kusakage told me to visit I am not entirely sure why though. But what I have seen from your village it seems like a very nice place." He said still wondering exactly what he was doing here.

Enzeru nodded, for kane knew her, making her known to be from the grass village. "Yes, I just arrived Kane. I'm here to train as a medic nin." Enzeru said quietly, like usual.

Matsuya strolled into the office. "Hey Luo." He looked at the new comers. "Who are the kids?" He noticed the Kusa headbands on them all. "LT sent his students here for training again? That freeloader." Matsuya sat down at his seat by the window. He unstrapped Hocho, his cleaver, from his back, leaning it on the wall next to him. "And here I came to ask you something. And tell you something, for that matter."

Enzeru was upset. " Our kage is not a free loader. the best medic nin is here, and I wanted to train with them!" Enzeru said angerly.

Kane looked at the newcomer, a look of contempt on his face, he didn't really care one way or the other what he thought of the Kusakage. He knew why he was here and the opinions of others were none of his concern.

Matsuya chuckled. "I was joking, girly. I've worked with LT before, I know he isn't one to shirk work. Im sure he has a solid rason for sending you here. And if it's our resident medical master your looking for, then I can't help you. All I am is a swordsman. I have no interest in helping the lame or the sick, in fact I despise those who are to weak to fight for what they believe in." Matsuya folded his hands behind his head, leaning back a little. "Now if it's melee training your looking for, I might be able to help. If Luo here allow, of course. Or a spar, I can handle all three of you if you want. I haven't had a good challenge in a while." His eyes were closed, but a wide smirk spread across his face. "And you." One of his eyes looked at the boy with the attitude face. "I could handle you any day. I dont like disrespecting people, or people disrespecting me. So I would change your opinion about me. I can be a nice guy if I want, its just that I dont find that want very often." Matsuya laughed again.

Kane did not look at the man as he said, "I never claimed that I could beat you, and if you are who I think you are then I am sure that I would not stand a chance, or at least not much of one. But that does not really concern me, I did not come here for training or to spar anyone from the mist. I came because I was told by the Kusakage to visit his lodge here so that he could make me something that I need. Perhaps if I come here in person we can spar, but for the moment I will have to pass."

Matsuya shrugged. "Then I can wait. I haven't had a good fight since before I became a jounin, so it would be interesting. But, oh well." Matsuya's eyes were closed again, he would wait for the kids to leave before he told Luo what he had to say. He wasn't to keen on having foreigners around to learn his techinques, weaknesses, and form.

Luo sighed a bit as he raised his head, glancing briefly at Matsuya before muttering, "Mind your tongue Matsuya. That's the second time today I've asked you to do that, and I hate repeating myself. If I have to say it once more, you'll find yourself in a good fight all right, I can assure you of that." He then looked at Kane and sighed. "So LT sent you to get a scroll from me huh? This means your undergoing training for the style then. Tell me, why should I be interested in giving you a scroll, apart from your affiliation with my friend and former squad mate?" As Luo saw it, it was his job to be able to discern whether someone was quite capable of using the abilities of the style, which was why he was one of the holders of its scrolls. He then looked at the girl and smiled lightly. "Do not pay attention to Matsuya, just remember his unjust words when he is in need of a med-nin and you're the only one around. Anyway, judging by the sudden coldness of my village and where the chakra is emanating, our great med-nin is at the bloody prairie. I'll send for him and have him meet you here to train you, unless Ayame is free. She is our jounin med-nin and is as capable as any other to teach you." Luo finally turned to the seemingly confused boy with the set of grass shinobi. "Hello Yuudai. I assume you're apart of this three man cell before me? Thank you for your compliments on my village, I take great pride in it. State your elements and the status of your training, and I might be able to help you discern why you are here." Luo drew a deep breath before exhaling slowly, calming his nerves a bit. He wished he had received a notice before their arrival so that he could have prepared, but it wasn't any difficulty to help the grass shinobi out while Tares rebuilt his new village.

Kane looked at Luo, unsure how to answer his question. He lowered his head and closed his eyes as he thought about it. Why did he deserve the scroll, what made him any more worthy than anyone else? Why did he want to be a shinobi at all, that was the real question. He thought of the the friends that were still in Kusa. He could see each of their faces, Coren's drunken smile, Sev's smirk, even LT's proud eyes, the only part of his face that Kane had ever seen. He looked up at Luo and said, "To protect that which is truly important. To protect those that have made me who I am. That is why I fight, that is why I need the scroll." His eyes seemed to burn with an intensity that had not been there before, seeming to look past Luo, at something only Kane could see.
