Yuri was next after Kana, and he looked at the machine. Giving it his ID and mumbling "Rawed...um...uh...Whale" he wanted to see if it would actually give him what he wanted. Somehow though, in the cubby appeared blood in a pail. He looked down at the blood. "Stupid machine" was all that he said as he grabbed his ID and the pail full of blood, dropping the tray off bfore leaving so that he only was carrying the bucket. What he would need the blod for he did not know, but he decided that he wanted to taste it and maye he would just look at it if it was disgusting or something. He had no clue why he had mumbled his order...buthe wasn't satisfied with what came out and assuming he was recieving some kind of look he looked away and spoke audibly "I didn't order this..." but he still did not look at her and waited for her to walk somewhere to find a place to sit because he had no clue of where he might want to sit with her. He'd not eaten here but a few times...most times if he'd become hungry he left with his food. He was curious about Yuki, the only other person he knew here aside from those who followed him and Kana, and thought about how she must have eaten her more times than him. Though he'd only seen her twice, period. His attention changed a few times as he stood there, waiting for something to happen and foring himself to keep from thinking too hard on anything at once.

Kana blinked, ear twitching as she heard Yuri place his order. But she didn't say anything and forced herself not to make a face as the scent of blood reached her nose. Instead she just smiled cheerfully, waiting until he'd picked it up and spoke again. Now she blinked a couple times. "You... you didn't?" she asked in utter confusion. "But I just..." She trailed off, staring at him a second longer before spinning around quickly, somehow managing not to knock over her glass of Sunkist. She stared around until she'd located an empty area against a wall of the building. She headed towards it, glancing over her shoulder to make sure he was following. She'd seen that he wasn't looking at her, and didn't understand why he wasn't. Though, as soon as she turned away from him again while walking towards the table, she wrinkled her nose just for a second before stopping again. It was true that she didn't like the scent of blood at all, as it brought back quite a few not too pleasant memories for her, but she wasn't going to say that to him. She plopped down in a seat, sitting inproperly with both legs crossed in the chair with her. Then she looked back at Yuri, her smile returned, as she waited for him to sit down before starting to eat.

He did not have to see her as she left, for her scent faded slightly and he could her her breathing leave further from him so he turned and began silently following behind her. Once she sat down, he too sat down in front of her-greeting her smile with a raised eyebrow and a slight upturning of one corner of his mouth. He set down the pail of blood and looked down at it...whatever blood it was the reflection in it was as unclear as the reflection that came from human blood so he began to wonder if that was the blood that the machine had attepted to give him. The scent beind so close to him seemed to make him nauseous, but he would not taste from it just yet for that would awaken his wolven instincts briefly, and whatever other scents caught his nose would smell as sterotypically they were loked on to be smelt by a wolf. He would be able to control himself but he would start lookng at Kana in a different way for a few moments, that woudl be odd, but he decided that that did not matter and would not matter and could not matter and wouldn't happen if he could keep himself from allowing it-for in allowing it he would be permitting a little more than his own worth in the fear that was struck in her and her friend when it came to wolves. He was only half-wolf but still would that not awaken a fear in her of him personally? Maybe he would ease his way into telling her-if at all that was possible. "What was life like before you came here?" He began to ease his way into it by asking her about her past...how dumb.

Kana watched as he sat down, feeling somewhat awkward at the look she recieved, but not letting it get to her enough to even let her smile fade in the slightest. Instead she contined smiling happily, more to herself now, as she looked down at the fish in front of her. It was quite a big piece, but she hadn't eaten since she'd gotten back from the trip with Koichi to visit his family. The realization brought a sudden thought to her. Where was Koichi? She hadn't seen him since... since that wolf demon had attacked her, and then Suka had attacked her. She didn't remember seeing him after that, having been too distracted with what Yuri had done. For a brief second, her face flushed red again at the memory of his method of healing, but then she shook it off as she turned to her tray. She picked up a fork and poked the fish a couple times and then took a small bite, as if to test it out. She approved instantly though, and quickly shoved another, larger bite into her mouth.
Grinning broadly, she looked back over at Yuri, after she'd swallowed, wondering why he wasn't eating. She was currently using the scent of her own fish to block out the scent of blood, focusing upon it instead. This way, it didn't make her too sick to enjoy her own meal. She still didn't say anything aloud to him though, not wanting to ruin his meal simply because she didn't like the scent of it. Her ears twitched as he finally spoke, though it certainly was not what she'd been expecting. She blinked at him a couple times, her ears drooping slightly. "Be... fore...?" she echoed quietly, her expression almost blank for a moment.
But then she closed her eyes, shaking her head to snap herself out of it. "It wasn't... so good," she mumbled, staring back at her plate. A second later her smile had returned. It was weak, but she was making an attempt. She didn't want to ruin the mood with a sudden gloominess, even if she wasn't completely sure what the mood had been before the question. "I was picked on a lot," she continued with a small laugh, rubbing awkwardly at the back of her head. "I don't even know what I did, but there must've been something..." She trailed off again, remaining silent for a little while longer before blinking and looking back at him. "What about you...?" she asked curiously, but hesitanty as well. She didn't want to adk about something he didn't wish to reveal. She instantly regretted letting the question escape her mouth, since she suddenly remembered his story about his mother's death. "Ah, I-I mean-!" she suddenly protested, speaking much more louder than needed in a frantic tone. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want!"

The trio made there way into the dining hall. None of them look to excited to be there at all. They were wearing clothes that looked like they came from another time era or place. Chisa walked over to the machine and pulled out her ID card. "This had better work..." She mumbled. She slid her card through the slot and thought of what she wanted. "Fried rice and some chicken. Water to drink." A few seconds passed by and her food and drink popped out from the cubby on a tray. She carefully picked up the tray and carried it to an empty table. She sat down and put the tray in front of her. She waited on Haru and Koyuki to come over. She began to eat her food silently.
Koyuki tried to rech where she could put her card through, but was too short, being eight years old of course. "Haru, I can't reach it." Her voice was very quiet as she spoke. She held her ID card up to Haru so he could order for her. "I want grilled salmon and some greens and tea to drink." She said and looked at Haru with her dark eyes.
Haru took Koyuki's ID card and slid it through the slot. "Grilled salmon, some greens, and tea." He waited for a few moments and allowed time for the food to pop out. The food came out on a tray. He picked up the tray and handed it to Koyuki. "Okay, your sister is sitting right over there." He pointed to where Chisa was. He gave Koyuki her ID card right before she left to the table. Haru pulled out his own ID card and slid it through. "Miso ramen and a water." Another pause and then his mealed came out. He picked up the tray and walked over to where Chisa and Koyuki were sitting at. He sat down nxt to Chisa and began to eat too.

Hina Aihara
Hina dashed into the dining hall, looking around. She was really hungry, she'd had so much fun playing and running around that she had forgotten about breakfast. Now her little tummy was rumbley-rumble,a nd she really wanted some food. Digging through her bag, she searched for her ID card. Once she found it, she tried wondering what to order. Lots of different things sounded really good. Cake, cookies, candy, cake, brownies, ice cream, cake... But she wasn't supposed to have sugar, and the headache from before, while just a memory now, was enough to hold her back. Stepping up to the machine, she slid her card in and shouted her order, to make sure it could hear her. "I WANT SOME SANDWICHES AND MILK!" A moment later the panel slid aside, depositing her food on the tray. Picking it up along with her ID card, she looked around for a table to sit at. Choosing an empty seat more or less at random, she sat down and dug in. The sandwiches were delicious, she devoured them quickly, along with her glass of milk. She sat for a moment to let her tummy settle, but suddenly curled up in pain. As tears ran down her eyes, she realized breakfast wasn't the only thing she'd forgotten that morning. Her medicine! She hadn't taken it! No wonder she felt so bad! Last time she felt like this, Papa-Doc had to take a whole lot of tests and stuff, she'd sworn to never forget her medicine again. So much for that. As she waited for the pain to subside, she rocked back and forth, trying to get the energy to get up and move around, so she could go find Papa-Doc and feel better.

Haruko nodded and reached into her pocket. Tama climbed onto her hand as if he was trained and she patted him on the head and gave him another grain of rice that was left over. "Don't hurt him, all right? I don't want anything to happen to him." she said. She grinned innocently and dropped Tama on the table. She nudged him along to Rin's side of the table and he sat down, looking at Rin and eating his grain of rice. "Squeak!" said the small mouse.
Haruko's eyes gleamed and she giggled to herself at the small mouse's tone. It was like the little guy was talking to Rin, though he knew she couldn't understand her. Haruko looked over at Fayth and smiled. "That's Tama. I caught him this morning at the front gates." she said. She sipped her juice again and ate another bit of fish.

Rin's frown darkened slightly at the mention of hurting the small mouse like creature. Did she look like that was her intention? She quickly pushed the thoughts away before she could grow too angry about it and let her bright eyes follow the mouse's progress. She blinked at him and then slowly reached out her hand, pausing for a second just before reaching him. She was almost acting like he were a dog and she was letting him sniff her hand before trying anything. Then she slowly picked him up, setting him in the palm of her hand. She raised her hand almost level with her face, watching the mouse as he ate, her head tilted very slightly to one side. An extremely faint smile threatened to creep over her lips, but she managed with some effort to keep it back. She kept her eyes upon Tama as she took a sip of her coke, set it down again, and then lightly pet him with her pointer finger.

Toshiyo walked in silently except for the thudding of his boots, he was being quiet today for some reason but he wasnt too sure about what the people here could do either way they were all staring at him like he was a freak. Each footstep he took froze the floor around him turning it into an ice rink, the frost climbed also , creeping up the legs of the tables and chairs foring a thick layer of ice. He was feeling quite hungry and was wondering mainly about what kind of food there was at this masisve lunchroom, he had never seen anything like it but it didnt matter at all fi it didnt have anything good to eat then it was just a waste of space.

Yuri listened to her, and looked down at his blood when she had finished making as close to a lying description as she possibly could through vagueness. He heard her leading into him speaking of his own past, and was just about to start from the beginning when she attempted to cut him off from it. He noticed at the same time that there was someone yelling at the machine, and then they sat down and cried...he did not understand what was going on but did not bother to worry about it either. He started answering as he noticed the tears, trying to take his attention off of this girl as he heard thoughts of a Papa-Doc. "It's okay, My mom was a fox, and my father a wolf, and I lived in a fox pack. I didn't do much there until after my family died, and then I left to my father's old home. I spent part of my life there, and it was much better than life at the dens...but when I left further and enroled in human school and things of that matte, I met with-and became one with-Death. After that my life had small hills of enjoyment, and then deep trenches of the negative. Everything was pretty indifferent...most people I knew died, and a lot of times it was because of me. There's not much I can do to affect the choices of other people and thus I cannot do much more than watch them...unlesss I am there to see what caused whatever problems they have come across and then something always ended up going wrong becauise of my helping the person. So something is bund to happen soon to you, since I helped you." he said this in a rushed voice, the last part at least, and when he was finished he dipped his fingers in the blood, and then pulled them out examining them before picking the pailup to his mouth and drinking from it. It ws a short drink though, and his eyes widened a it at the taste of it, but he rubbed them after he'd set it down and they seemed to gain their normal glow once more. In the silver of his eyes the reflection of she who looked in his direction was clear, as if they were mirrors, though they ere not. They had not always been like that, but as of recent days it had become that way and he had decided to ignore this when looking at his own reflection. As he hoped she would do...

Kana watched him after quieting herself down, feeling rather odd for yelling about it needlessly. She couldn't seem to help herself though, as she tended to overreact a lot. She just hadn't gotten a good chance yet with Yuri, since before she'd been too scared to talk almost for most of the time she'd spent with him so far. She frowned slightly as he continued with his story anyway, and was immediately caught off guard. Wolf? Had he just said his father was a wolf? Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she leaned forward, attempting to sniff and see if she could find that scent on him. But instead she only inhaled the blood and clamped a hand over her nose, coughing a couple times before leaning back again, her face faintly red.
Then she fell silent, not wanting to distrupt his story anymore. She listened to it all carefully now, her ears drooping slightly as she realized what he was saying. She blinked a couple times at the especially rushed ending, having a bit of trouble catching what he said. She silently mused over it for a moment, until it suddenly clicked. She blinked again, staring at him for a couple seconds before shaking her head. "Trouble follows me too," she said quietly. "One of the bullies from home even followed me here for some reason... So if something does happen, it won't be your fault." She paused as she watched him drinking the blood, and wrinked her nose slightly and then stopped hopfully fast enough that he wouldn't notice. She turned back to her own meal, taking another bite. She chewed thoughtfully, somewhat guilty that he'd gone into such detail while she'd tried to mostly avoid the subject. She stared into his eyes for a moment, and then looked back at her plate. If anything, she thought they were cool. Like Karin's but silver and more reflective.

Haruko frowned slightly at Rin's frown. She didn't want to say anything, but she knew Rin was thinking about her comment about Tama earlier. She laughed as Tama squeaked and giggled at the way he accepted walking onto her hand, still clutching the grain of rice. Haruko blinked slightly as a small smile crept onto the lips of Rin. Something she hadn't seen at all in her time with Rin.
((Tama's POV))
Tama squeaked in excitement as he nibbled on the grain of rice his mother had given her. He was getting a lot of attention now. He had been a little mean to his mom earlier, but now that he had a chance to calm down, he loved his new life, living with mom. The purple haired girl seemed to be nice too. She was petting him with his finger. He decided he'd do her a favor. He shook his tail slightly and the opal on his tail glowed. He pointed it towards her drink and chilled the glass a little bit. There we go. He finished his rice and curled up on the table. This was the life.

Rin kept her eyes upon Tama, watching him carefully with a slight frown still upon her face. She was a bit wary, she had to admit. It was hard to believe he'd become so tame so quickly. Just before he'd been encasing people in ice. It was also hard to believe that he could manage such a thing though, being so tiny. She tensed very slightly, pulling her hand away a bit, as she saw his tail move and then gem glow. But she noted soon after that it was simply her drink he'd targeted and he hadn't even frozen it all the way. Now she did actually smile. It was extremely faint, and kind of hard to believe, but there it was. "Thank you," she whispered, petting his head softly again.

Yuri did not like the taste of the blood at all, but the smell of it became all at once pleasant and he stopped worrying about how to rid himself of that aroma. He looked at her, listening as she spoke, and when she finished he'd noiced her nose wrinkle and then unwrinkle with the same quickness. It was over the blood during his drinking of it that he'd seen her do so, but that did not bother him. He did not like the taste of it and decided for that reason to ignore the idea of it being disgusting to her. He thought for a moment, a very short moment, and then spoke once more to her. "Trouble follows most of us her at Ria, or so it seems. I think I've come to be able to deal with the trouble that follows me...if trouble folows you then we are alike. If trouble follows you...then can I protect you from it?" he asked this, blinking in confusion as the resoning for this idea popping into his head was not there for him. She'd begun chewing her food when he had said that, and he had not noticed-but assumed-that she had been surprised at his being a wolf. In the anticipation that folowed his question, his grey tail somehow made it's way out of wherever it was...sometimes it felt as if it were not there at all, and in the light it appeared near black though it was truly a dark grey. It poked it's way over the edge of the table, and then dropped into a swing that had it brush upon the ground as the farthest end from him began to sway back and forth over the seat next to the one in which he was sitting. He knew he was an odd person, and he had to live with that...but now he was confused about his own self...after so many years of going through just about all he could imagine, he'd become very close to being a different person. He'd gone through two eye colors already, none being of his own choice. It was odd though...his eyes...it was as if he earned their silver color...From black, to dark red, and then to silver. A few strands of his hair fell into his face as he looked down into his pail and thought about how she would word her rejection...he looked up though as(if) she spoke. And listened close.
