Really a little amount of people that are not from argentina know it... hmm... its an argentinian invention.. xD i might say, one of the better.

I must disagree. A lot of people not from Argentina know what dulce de leche is. In fact, in Puerto Rico we have the same name for it, and having ice cream being produced with this flavor aids in the spread of it. xd

Well xD, maybe... in some of the other south-american countries... but in all the other world they dont know it.. Do anybody here know what an "Alfajor" is? xD.

Arequipe is another name for dulce de leche according to a colombian lady I used to work with. whee She was explaining a new desert they had put up in the menu and when she told me that the arequipe was already made I just did an eyebrow raise. xd
