The 2D games are better anyway.
Though Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was pretty fun...
And as for the story, I really have no idea what goes on in there. My knowledge of the 'story' in the Sonic games is pretty much the same as it was when I was little. He runs really really fast and stops Robotnik (Can't stand it when folks call him Eggman. I DON'T CARE IF THE GAMES CALL HIM THAT TOO, IT'S A STUPID NAME AND YOU KNOW IT)

Yeah but essentially, Shadow doesn't even exist. Plus, he's just a big ol' copy. And he can't beat Sonic. That dude could wipe the floor with anyone in his world and most characters from other worlds xD
Arc: I lost interest after playing Sonic Heroes.. it was in the right direction.. the gameplay was okay.. but it just made me miss the old days.. and the dialog was so whack, I changed the language to Japanese so at least they'd sound somewhat cool.
I haven't played any recent titles. Hardcore fans like em. Other hardcore fans hate them. Other people hate the new ones too.
I'm hoping Sonic 4 will be Epic. I'm definately getting that on my Wii. :3
