Nightmare tilted his head "Mira?"
wow, nobody mentioned the Blade movies.
Spider-Man: great set and intro for the very few people that don't know Spider-Man, badass looking Green Goblin, had points, quotes, and plots from the comics.
Spider-Man 2: more depth from the comics, more character depth, awesome Doc Oct.
Spider-Man 3: Venom was awesomely designed, Venom was awfully played, emo Parker and gay dancing is not cool, Sandman isn't the most well known Spidey villian, Gwen Stacy is a plus but badness of MJ countered, tried too hard to please everyone, with too many plots from comics.
X-Men: great cast of characters, great set up for people that didn't know them, awesome effects of powers.
X2: more characters (hell yeah Nightcrawler's attack on the white house) depth and background of Wolverine, intro to phoenix.
X-Men 3: why didn't the director and Cyclops leave to do Superman? WHY?!?! *cry* anyway, more characters, plots from comics, the only thing that kept Last Stand from being just as good as the first two was the change in directors.
Origins: few complaints, adamantium bullets, cycolp's optic blast is not the same as heat vision, Deadpool complainers. Wade Wilson isn't Deadpool yet quit chur bitching. Everything else was really good, can't wait for sequal.
Fantastic Four: not the biggest FF fan but nice intro.
Rise of the Silver Surfer: could've been better, could've been much better, didn't need a human torch swapping powers or a "fixed" Doctor Doom.
Hulk: too emotional, not enough "Hulk Smash!!!" moments, liked the Hulk Dogs.
Incredible Hulk: much much better.
Iron Man: badass.... pure and simple.
Ghost Rider: good set up but could've been darker.
Punisher: liked it, like the look and feel.
War Zone: was alittle closer to the comics in brutality, would've been better as a sequal instead of a reboot.
Blade: a vampire's worst nightmare, and a great movie.
Blade 2: awesome movie, better and bloodier then the first.
Blade 3: nnnnn went alittle down hill but Ryan Renolds' moments made it bareable.
I believe that's all of them.

Why do people like the Spider-man movies? Tobey totally botched the character!
Spider-Man is always, ALWAYS spouting one liners and jokes when facing an enemy. In the movies, he's always whiny and sad, and he had, what, five one liners among 3 movies?

yes, Cyger, people loved the Spider-Man (not so much of 3 but you get the point) and why did they love Spider-Man 1 and 2? Because they were good and Toby fit the character. Whiny bits? yeah I'd be whiny and sad when my nemisis found out my secret identity and died with his son aka my best friend thinking I killed him, I'd be alittle down if I was torn between to lives, the live want and the life I'm destined for. I don't know what Spider-Man you grew up with but Ultamite doesn't count.

Oh man I forgot about Punisher and Blade! XD
Yeah I liked those movies, Blade 3 was a stretch with the constant barrage of f%#$ word jokes and the.. was that Dracula or something at the end? I forget but he was corny lol.
Either way, since I've put out my critiques I will now admit to the following and totally offend a greater majority of the members of this chat room.
I enjoyed watching ALL the Marvel movies. Yes there were things in each that annoyed me, that I felt were totally wrong and made me quite literally say "I could have done this movie better" but when it comes down to it... the movies, just like every comic series, is a new telling of the characters we know. They keep the essence while exploring new possibilities at the same time.
I will stand firm though on the following things that tick me off because really, they did not need to be done.
X-men: Merging Rogue and Jubilee into one character. X-men: Wolverine not wearing the mask even once! scream X-men: Not casting Sabertooth correctly until Origins. X-men: Mystique not wearing her traditional white outfit! scream Spider-man: The dickless twerp trying to be Eddie Brock. (Brock is a body builder bad a** who made even a mullet something to take serious!) Spider-Man: Gwen Stacy should have either been first or not at all. (She would have been better as Felicia Hardy I think!) Spider-man: The Emo Peter Parker... it was hilarious but... I preferred when the symbiote made you angry not angsty.) Wolverine Origins: Wade Wilson going Barraka from Mortal Kombat. Wolverine Origins: The blob suit... Fat b*****d was more convincing! Fantastic Four 2: Galactus was a giant.. storm cloud? Lazy if you ask me. Hulk: The CGI for hulk was so cartoony where as in the second one he actually looks like he could be real.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So... after saying most were bad movies.. then that I liked them.. only to go back and list the things that bothered me... let me just make one thing perfectly clear. I watch movies to be entertained, so long as that happens I'm happy.
As it stands I own almost ALL the Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and Vertigo movies, that includes the animated ones!
If you ever want to discuss a movie for its good and bad points with someone who won't hate you for your opinion, I'm your guy.
((This extremely long ramble on of things has been brought to you by boredom, the flood gates of typing!))
To answer an earlier question of yours Cyger, I do use msn. If you wish to chat just pm me your email and I'll add you. That way I know who it is. Once someone added me and I had no idea who it was... it was rather awkward because I soon found out it was my friends new account... totally missed the memo. lol
To answer your recent question: That depends on how long it takes for the kitties to stop hissing, the heroes to finish talking and how long it'll take Ivy's house to stop... losing its roof? I dunno but for being a 'secret hide out' it sure aint secret any more! lol
Stray: Good man! You tell it like it is! I bet you even liked the Catwoman video game!
It's taking the strength of Gods for me not to go in this debate you all clearly have deplorable sense of tastes when it comes to comic movies and viewer opinions like yours are the reason why new movies like Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes, and The Fantastic Four actually found bugeting for production.
The End
No, no you know WHAT?! It's not the fricken end.
HOW IN THE BLUE HELL can you question Halle Berry's acting and yet applaud the same dude from Tropic Thunder as Iron Man?! WHO THE ******** CAME UP WITH THAT AS A CATCH?! Can he wear a mustache? Not really. HIRE HIM!
X men was the only comic book movie that wasn't crap because the character casting was on FRICKEN POINT. Know why? Because they movie wasn't pulled out of someones a** and done in 6 months. EVERY comic book movie after that was.
Spider Man, is an epic failure because no matter how hard Tobey, Jameson, and Doc Oct, rocked. WHO THE ******** THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY TO CAST KIERSTON DUNST AS MARY JANE? Last time I checked, Mary Jane had a huge a** rack and confidence to go with it. She wasn't frail, and oh so ******** stupid!
Since when HELL is Mrs. Fantastic a blond latina half breed from a horrible Fox's drama called Dark Angel?
Am I the only one who believes that SOMETIME'S type casting is necessary? Kinda how people are pissed with the black Nick Fury opposed to the white one?
Angelina Fricken Jolie would have made a better choice. Why not give us an Asian Storm? Wait, no we got an Asian Spike! Why? Because lady ******** deathstrike wasn't ENOUGH! Hey, while races are complaining about their portrayal. Why don't we get a Puertrican Xavier, and a Black Cyclops?! Lets ******** up the entire Marvel Universe for the sake of appease whiney minorities. Lets do it with DC Too! Forget Batman, now lets do Blackman ! Now the villains REALLY have something be scared of.
I hate every comic book movie but the X-men trilogy. I want to hate number three but I love Magneto. I hated Ellen Page, god WHY was she famous from that horrible acting? How does a ******** teenager ruin the line "d**k head." ? I'm still asking myself that.
The Hulk? No. Didn;t see it. Wont see it. Don't want to see it.
*long sigh*
I thought Downey picked up Tony Starks character pretty damn well.
As for Halle Berry. Storm always seemed a very aristocratic, worldly character. The introspective African Goddess character. berry played her first as a bland, mopey one-liner, then in the third movie she became a horribly stereotyped angry black woman.
Kind of insulting imo.
That and berry kept demanding more screen time and money for a character who was not popular in terms of the film series.
I will be honest, I am extremely biased of Halle Berry. She can do no wrong in my eyes. And what actor who doesn't have a hardcore movie background DOESN'T ask for more money and screen time.
Even David Yost bitched for more screen time for the First Power Ranger Movie to a point where they had to cut into Johnny Yong Bosch's screen time.
With that said, how hard is it play a venerial deseases ridden, drunk of a multibillionare playboy? Bruce Wayne has dimsenson, Tony Stark has a metal robot suit.
Nightmare pointed into the fray "oh about Mystique and the lack of white outfit, like Ivy, Mystique prefered to be nude since she could form her own clothes and it makes alittle more sense."
this is true and I is ranted out.
Bruce Wayne has Multiple Personality Disorder and a serious twisted relationship with minors.
The movies Stark was shallow, but they developed him some depth and character as the film progressed. That, and I like how He is the same character in or out of his suit, whereas most other superheroes are remarkably schizophrenic.
