She sat on top of him, and pressed her nose to his. Her tail was wagging slightly. Nyah nyah.....got you back..... Her eyes were twinkling with unhidden satisfaction.

"So thats the way it is then eh?" He sighed slightly. "I just got these clothes too." As she sat on him Jeff grew larger and larger as she changed into his lycan form his clothes ripped apart at the seams. Fur started spreading everywhere and his bones broke then reknitted themselves back together. Then slowly he shank into his wolf form. His fur was unusually soft and smooth for a lycan or a wolf. It was a rather pain filled experience which he could live through but it realyl sucked to change form. His fur glistened in the moon light. He managed to role out for underneath her and barked. "It's on now."

"I was wondering when you'd do it." She grinned again. She barked back and sat up. She looked up at him. "Damn it, why am I always so small?" She said questioningly. "Let's play." She took off into the underbrush, disappearing easily with the shadows against her black fur.

He was glad he didnt really need his eyesite to find her becuase she blended into the dark so well. The only time his sense of smell actually worked was when he was in his wolf form and his ears were more keen than most lycan. He chased her faster than normal for him it was like he was on the hunt, with out the killing part, he was almost in extasy as he chased her. He could catch glimpses of her from the lamp lights in Central Park. He continuously gained on her though a bit slower than when they where humans.

She was having fun, so much fun. It had been so long since she ran in her wolven form. She felt his eyes on her, so she knew he was close, but that's where her petite form did help her. She was light, and nimble among the trees. She sprinted faster, jumping over a low bush.

Jeff could hear her slowly pulling away. This girls got some spunk. Jeff grinned as best a wolf could he hadnt chased anyone like this in a long time. He dodged over and around objects that would needlessly slow him down. He was getting so much enjoyment out of this. His tension left him. He relaxed and focused on her and catching her only. His eyes refracted the anylight giving him better night vision. He moved, gracefully and was incredibly light on his feet to the point were his feet barely touched the ground before they sprang him forward again. As he ran branches broke less and less.

A rumble of a laugh spread through her. "Not going down without a fight!" She growls back at him sarcastically. Her eyes shifted quickly, never staying looking forward. It was a habit from when she lived in the snows of her former home. She squeezed between two thick oaks and continued on, only to realize too late that she was standing at the edge of the lake. "Crap...."

Jeff darted around those trees but never really slowed and to his sudden shock, he suddenly wished he shoud have slowed a bit. He barreled right into Layna.

"Yikes!" She tumbles into the water. She comes up and shakes briskly. "Darn it! I was hoping to avoid the water...." She looks at him, dripping wet, and burst out with a low rumble.

Jeff barked with unsurprassed laughter. "You look like a drowned rat." He joked as he swam. He was at home in water as much as he was land. Living on the coast of California he grew up next to the ocean and swam regularly.

She gets out of the water, shaking again. "Look whose talking." She grimaces and shakes again. "I hate wet fur!" She sits and watches him. "Great, a dog-fish. Cat-fish watch out, the predator's on the prowl."

Jeff climbed out of the water and shook himself. He was a bit poofy. "Aww what a cute little predator. Awww she thinks she's so tough." He joked he baked in ways one would bark at a pup.

"Better believe it. I'm the toughest!" She said, standing, her tail wagging with happiness. She barked at him, truly the pup acting brave.

Jeff let out a howl that was long, happy, but ferocious and invigerating to hear. As he howled his tail wagged happily.

She joined him, adding her soft undertone that made a rush of pure delight run down her spine.
