Right, because everyone knows that fights progress as follows: - Gay hand to hand. - Less gay hand to hand. - Hand to hand with powers. - Mostly powers with some hand to hand. - Big explosions. - Hand to hand again because you used up all your uberjuice. It's not like somebody could... I dunno... hit you with something straight off the bat. You've got to gradually work up to that because it's an unwritten rule that all fights have to resemble DBZ in some way.

Warrior, ex-ninja. I don't even use that fire untill someone else has already done something to warrant it.
It shows tact and skill to take someone down with the limits of a mortal.
To be a flaming jesus right off the bat, it's just lame.
Even with Clash, powers were used in moderation not as a crutch or soul means of fighting. They were somewhat entertaining and not a -well my p***s can do this- oh yeah -my p***s can do more trix-

You pick up a rock and hit someone with it while you're on the ground, but he doesn't have a weapon: is that not tact? Using your environment to the advantage? It's more disrespectful to not do anything that you could do just because the other guy would b***h about fairness. Oh no. You've got a rock. Oh no. He can throw fireballs. It's just another weapon, like Kichi's swords. And you're bitching because he decided to use it. Next time Kichi goes into a fight with his swords, rather than bare handed, I'll be sure to remind you of this.
