Shieldon HP: 9Once more the Deerling would crash into the Shieldon with minimal results. ">Now now, not so rough. You wouldn't wish to scratch this face would you?<" The Shieldon asked, almost immediately after his skull had smacked against that of Ami. Luckily enough, both of them happened to be rather thick skulled Pokemon. After that, the Shieldon would go silent, a stark contrast to his earlier behaviour. His eyes would dart around, watching the Deerling closely. He was attempting to figure out how to best woo her, to distract her so he might perform the act he had been planning from the beginning...to crush her head like a grape.
Ami shook her head. She was still a bit dazed from the 'hug' she was trying to give to the Shieldon. Standing back up quickly, she focused her eyes once more on the magnificent creature. ">Did I give you a hug? I can't remember...<" She bleated with confusement. As she said that, the Deerling started to run straight for the Shieldon. ">Hehe, prepare yourself for a big and loving hug!<"

The girl would arrive back on the island .....as she step back upon the beach. There was nothing but excitement in her now, she had one more pokeball, and she knew what she wanted to capture as she step upon the shores. Hoping that all her steps would lead her towards the desert and the fox of her dreams.

It would happen as she wished as she stood on the outskirts of the desert. The heat coming up so strongly from the sands that the air seemed to wavier from it. And the heat of the day was so unbearable that it made even the most ruthless of pokemon stay underground.
This was the inferno that she wished for and the one she was currently walking directly in to.

Nakano couldn't be happier as she walked lightly as if on air. This was her chance to go fox hunting and considering she had two pokemon with full health she felt that this time her adventure would end differently.
She started her trek across the desert full of confidences.

Nakano's first steps might have been with confidences, but that last only until her first fall as one leg would get caught in a hole in the ground. And a pair of digging claws would push it upwards to make sure that she ended up on her face as the Drilbur would appear out of the ground. A smile was on his face as he shuffle above ground with the wish for battle in his eyes.
The Drilbur was more than ready as he stood with his claws out.
A smile was on his face.
THis would be fun indeed.

Nakano wouldn't hesitate one moment a she would pull free the right pokeball. NO, she had lost to this sort of a pokemon before, but this time, she wasn't going to be so badly weaken. That meant that this battle would belong to her ....as she tosses the pokeball to release her Skarmory upon the field. Suzaku's wings would be spread wide as she would seem to hover in the air for a moment.
Landing lightly ....as her tail feather were held upwards so that the streaks in it was clear.

Speed was on the Drilbur's side as he was start forward. His Earth power was useless against a flying type, so he was left with one choice. He was going to use scratch as he rushes forward ...his eyes locked on his opponent as he ran at his full speed ....claws held to either side of him as he prepared to literally flash by the bird swiftly with a cutting move that would gut anything that wasn't metal like this.

Suzaku had learned her lesson from last time as she would power her wings downward. Before, she had stay grounded and it had ended in defeat. This time she would use her element to her advantage even though that meant more work for her as she powers upwards towards the sky.
Her wings spread wide as she went upwards and upwards. Higher and higher as her tail feathers were spread wide ...if only she can get upwards before the pokemon's claws found her. Then this would be a battle she would quite literally have the uphand of.

Six saw the look in the TIrtouga's eyes. It was ticked off for some reason Six didn't no or understand. Flapping it's fins on the ground, Six knew that it wanted a battle. Just his luck, he has to go through another battle with weak pokemon.
"*sigh* Seriously?!?!"
Six wasn't really pleased with this. But it's not like he had a choice. Now, he REALLY needed luck on his side if he's going to want to make it through.

Snover stretched his limbs for he was woken up. He was still in some pain from the deep scratch wound the Kecleon had given him. Snover would just have to endure the pain for the time being. He really wasnt happy about this. One wrong move and it could be over for Snover.

The skarmory wouldn't get off the ground fast enough as those claws would nick her leg upon take off. Skidding to a halt with one paw press against the ground he smirked lightly as he saw the blood dripping off of his claw. Just a few drops, but there was more where that one had come from as his eyes would come up.
His head extending upwards as he looked for the bird ...the glint of silver in the sky as he would shield his face with one claw just in case. If the sun was to the side of her, it could be blinding to look at Skarmory.
He had learned that lesson well as he prepared himself to dodge the incoming attack.

korkcon Tyson had stopped for a second to take a breath he leaned up against the side of the mountain. Then he heard something running. He turned around to see the pokemon from before running towards him. He quickly tried to side step the pokemon. (die roll is on 153)

((Mei, we've been over this. Don't give me the roll. Give me the Page #. In fact, we had this EXACT conversation in our last two posts, and you said you're remember 'next time'. xp ))

He wasn't used to a female that wasn't paralysed by his magnificence, or simply chose to run due to his shear brilliance. Averting their eyes out of unworthiness!
Ah, but he was getting lost in himself again; though was there anywhere better to lose ones self? He still had a Deerling to smash!
Turning about to face his opponent, the Shieldon pawed at the ground faintly before rushing forward. It was a Tackle, this was true, but it was the easiest and best way to smack the soft bodied!

Closing his eyes, the Tirtouga would immediately retract into his shell, leaving only the tips of his fore-flippers exposed, along with the end of his beak. He would simply wait. Bide his time, then release devastation upon his opponent like none other.

She missed, there was no other way of noting that as she hovered in the air. Her wings spread to their full length as she looks downwards at what she had hoped would be her opponent. She had already missed once, and now she was far enough above that she could breathe. Though she couldn't do that for too long ....afterall ...this was a battle that wasn't anywhere near over yet.
Her wings would flap once before she would aim her attack towards the top of her opponent's head. A counter-attack ...she wasn't done ...not yet anyway. If she could managed to make this hit maybe the battle will go better.
Nakano would almost want to stomp the ground as she looks forward at the battle. Why couldn't they hit? Why were they having such a hard time ....the advantage was Suzaku's.
The girl wanted to scream even as the skarmory in question would lower her altitude as she aimed another Ominous Wind at her opponent. She was just as eager to tend this as Nakano.

Though that downward move had once more brought the skarmory within range of his claws, and he wasn't going to miss out. The Drilbur taking a flying leap towards the bird as he once more uses Scratch.
His aim was at her belly .....this time.
