Red: Since you made the banner and you're a ref, why don't you post your banner in the Entrance Hall so everyone knows it exists!!
Hopefully this ends up to be as fun as it seems ^_^

So I was just snooping around The White Tomb and it looks like you guys have had some really excellent ideas for events. I think one of my favorites was the attack game events, using dice.
It all made me want to say thank you for keeping this guild alive (even if there were times when it seemed near imminent death). I also want to tell you all how proud I am of the people who've been working on this place during all the time I was gone. crying crying
I can't wait to see and be a part of whatever happens next.

^^exactly how I feel!
Then I realize the guild's been around seven years this year (obviously we're planning something special/huge for that), but there hasn't been too many changes in the mod teams since then. The first team that helped out when you first left was Miss Love Tantei, Alutian, Junimaia, and technically Angil (but bearchoo had already stepped in for her because Angil was inactive like you) then another small change happened when we added TheRestless as a mod. If this team hadnt stepped up and stuff, the guild would've done a long, long time ago. This team also put up with me and a lot of PMs lol. Then MLT retired as Head and we got Kitty. Then Alutian retired, and we got Lyra. Then Juni retired/quit and we got Amber. Tina was probably the most helpful person ever and she obviously was needed on the mod squad [because a lot of the heads, including me, were inactive half the time], so we added her too. I wouldn't have imagined this team coming close to the team from the beginning, but geesh they're so awesome. The fact that they all have busy lives just adds to their awesomeness because they still find time for the guild, which can get hectic in some moments.
I totally just gave you background on what's happened in the last few years. I get nostalgia thinking about all of them because they've all moved on (unlike me =/) but glad they still come around with the exception of Juni who quit all together. sad

If I remember right, Juni a bit shortly after Amber was made the head of Hufflepuff. But I'm not sure about the exact date.

@ Icee- I'm pretty sure the mods of any good guild are always going to be amazing. And I always feel like the best part is that it's sort of prestigious (at least in our own little world, lol), yet HPGoG mods always seem to be the sort of people who don't really ask for power. They just ask if they can help out one day and, in a matter of weeks, end up proving themselves as invaluable leaders. Very Neville-like, lol xp
Juni was probably one of my very favorite Hufflepuffs while I was Puffie Head. DevilsDarkAngel was also pretty wonderful. He wasn't a frequent poster, but he always seemed to be around, somehow. He was actually one of the few people who joined the guild before I did, back when it was just a single lowly thread with Pinkie saving money to buy the guild (I feel really old saying it, but earning money was a lot harder back then. Since there were no games at all, so the pretty much the only way to earn money was posting). Anyway, I should probably explain that DDA was one of the few people who joined the thread guild before me and continued on to be active in the guild when it became a proper Gaia guild, because there weren't really that many of us, not compared to the numbers the guild's seen since then.

Mylian It seems to me that the Beyond Hogwarts subforum could use an overhaul. it's severely neglected.
I think it should be treated as an isolated continuity and opened up to all Sorted members. Seventh Years could keep participating in the school RPs and events in the rest of the guild, while in the Beyond Hogwarts subforum they could play adult versions of their school characters. And opening it up to adult versions of all Sorted member characters would mean that they don't have to participate there alone. Would you mind PMing this to me with Beyond Hogwarts Idea as the subject?

I'm not really understanding what you're talking about. Announcements cost like 150 gold, but we don't really send them unless they're big updates

Ruthina ok question: i am new in this guild and was wondering if u had to be sorted in a house or u just gradually enter one? As an Elf you have to post a certain amount of times before being eligible to be sorted into a House, until then you can post in anywhere except common rooms classrooms for those sorted and anywhere where it says only so and so are allowed to post, but join in the Quittditch World Cup and support a team you can make many friends, and as an elf you are allowed to post in Indigo Purple and Standard. Oh and don't forget the Giggling Pear!
