Razzer was correct in his assumption that his honest answer wasn't what Ashley had in mind. Man, this girl was predictable! "Like I said, they're really cool..." she mumbled to Gino, rubbing his furry ear. Then she heard Razzer's thought comment regarding jumpiness.
"Well, excuse me for growing up under normal circumstances." she said to him icily. Razzer snarled at her, quite tempted to show her his water manipulation techniques. "Normal circumstances? Christ, what do you define as normal? Invading people's privacy and thoughts is normal?" he spat back. Ashley blushed, and muttered something that Razzer didn't catch. He was about to vent some more, but he really didn't want to frighten the girl. It might end up provoking a fight, and he'd end up having to hurt her. Which, as tempting as it was, probably wasn't the best course of action. Instead he settled for glaring at her.

Ashley jumped slightly, staring back at Razzer through eyes widened in alarm. "Wh-wha?" she began, cutting off as he continued ranting. She shrank back away from him in her chair, looking completely shocked. "But it's not- I don't mean to-" She stopped again, staring down at the table silently as she tried to avoid his glare. It didn't work very well, and she ended up bringing one hand to her face, covering her mouth with it, the loose fitting sleeve blocking from her nose and down. She almost seemed as if she were trying to hide behind her hand, making a barrier between herself and Razzer.
She wondered if he'd exploded partly because she'd poked him earlier and had just been holding it back, but her recent comment had been the final straw. She blinked a couple times, looking back up at him tentatively. "I'm sorry..." she replied faintly. "I should just..." She trailed off, starting to get up from her chair so she could make a hasty exit.

Laurel frowned a little in frustration. Nobody seemed willing to help her. She walked slowly back to their table. She propped Micha up in her chair, examining her carefully. At least she's breathing, and I don't think she's having a seizure...she's just out cold. What am I going to do? I have to get her to the hospital. "If nobody'll help me, I'll have to do it on my own," she decided out loud. She cleared away their dishes quickly first. Since she had decided Micha wasn't going to have a seizure, she was in a little less of a hurry. Returning to the table, she frowned down on her sister, trying to decide wat the best way would be to move her. She draped one of Micha's arms over her shoulder, and lifted her carefully out of the chair, one arm supporting her back, the other under her legs. She began to walk slowly, pausing often to re-adjust her grip. Thank goodness Mi's smaller than I am...

Ashley was alarmed at Razzer's angry outburst. "Wh-wha?" she stammered. "But it's not- I don't mean to-" She then proceeded to attempt to hide her face behind her hand which, suffice to say, failed.
"I'm sorry..." she mumbled. "I should just..." the girl's stuttering voice trailed off as she shakily tried to get up from the chair. Razzer pointed at the chair. "Sit." he commanded.
"Don't go anywhere. I'm the one who should be apologizing." he said stiffly. "People do that to me all the time. Call me a freak, oggle at me, point and stare. I've seen it all." he frowned at the unpleasant memories. "You're the first person I've vented against, and it wasn't your fault." The mage stood up. "Let me make it up to you." he said, pulling out his student card. "I'll get you a bowl of ramen." Without waiting for an answer, he walked over to the machine and inserted his card. Ordering two bowls of ramen, he carried them back to the table, one in each tentacle. He set one in front of the girl and one in front of the neko boy Gino. Damnit, he had really better stop being such a crusty a**, or he'll be in more fights than he can handle. Of course, not having the damn tentacles would help greatly too.
I wish Rin would hurry up and find that damned spirit. Razzer thought to himself, forgetting once again that Ashley could read minds.

Ashley was half out of her chair when he suddenly told her to sit again. She did so obediently without protest, just plopping back down where she'd been a moment before. She wanted to move away before she could possibly offend him any further, but thought that by walking away it might offend him as well... She stared once more at the tabletop, hand slightly covering her face still, as she listened to what he was saying.
She frowned slightly to herself as she bowed her head a little more, taking in his words silently. But her head jerked up at the offer to get her some ramen. Before she could protest, he was already over at the machine, purchasing some, and then returned shortly after with two bowls. She stared at it for a second and then frowned. "Thank you..." she said softly, not really sure what to say. She didn't think he'd accept no for an answer, especially since he'd already gotten it.
Ashley sighed quietly to herself and slowly looked back up at him, focusing upon his face rather than the rest of him. She blinked once and then drummed her fingers across the table, her face turning slightly red again. "I won't do it anymore," she said suddenly. "I promise." She winced slightly as another thought invaded her head, and her eyes widened at the mention of a spirit. Th-they exist? she thought in alarm, suddenly no longer able to console herself with the thought they didn't. She bit her lip softly, but didn't say anything, not wanting to give him another reason to lash out at her.

Turning to Ashley after hearing both of the two's comments, he looked at her with big cute eyes. "R-really?" He squeaked out. He stood up in triumph. "Well. I knew that." He continued on, trying to sound manly. Finaly, he just sat down, legs crossed looking down at the ground. Gino gave a sigh, crossing his arms. "Well. I guess you learned more about my personality. Strange eh?" He said with his eyes closed. He put a hand behind his head and gave a small laugh with a sweatdrop. "Yeah. This is me."
Gino was a very colourful personality neko. And yes, sometimes he wasn't to proud of it. It would usually get him into tough situations. He twitched an eye brow as he stood up and got back into his seat on the other side of Razzer. "Thanks Ashley, Razzer." He said, with another sigh. "Oh yeah, and Razzer, what did you say that stuff was called? Ramen?" He questioned as he looked at the bowl again. The smell was getting to him again. His eyes grew faint, then he shook it off.
His mouth was still abit tanged because of the Mars bar he just ate. It wasn't like him to eat chocolate because of his taste of things. Feh. Damned chocolate. He looked at the clock and soon relised that it was quiet a while he was there. "Oh, you guys," He said, trying to get some more information on his sister, "do any of you know a Nika? A small fun personality neko, who says 'Nyyahhh' alot?" He queastioned, while his ears twitched once. {{OSHSC Is getting to me DDX/XDD}}

The girl looked apologetic, and blushed as she promised not to do it again. "It wa-" Razzer stopped in midsentence as he saw her reaction to his mentioning Rin and spirits. He was going to comment, but didn't. "It wasn't your fault, Ashley." he said. Then, as an afterthought, "Say what you were thinking." It would just annoy him if she didn't get it off her chest. Might as well be open now, since he was finished his venting.
Razzer nodded at Gino's comment. "Yeah, it's ramen."
"Oh, you guys," Gino added, "do any of you know a Nika? A small fun personality neko, who says 'Nyyahhh' alot?" Razzer racked his memory. Nika... Nika... "Sorry, can't remember any Nikas. But if I hear any 'nyyahhh'ing I'll know who to call."

Ashley looked back at Razzer, trying to push away her thoughts and calm herself as she focused upon what he was saying. She still kept her gaze on his face, though she found it strangely embarassing to do so, and just kept blushing gradually darker as more time passed, until she couldn't take it and stared back at the table. During this time, she'd absently taken in his words, blinking as he'd paused and then continued. "What I was...?" she began to repeat, and then frowned slightly to herself.
Once again, she suddenly felt really dumb, but tried to ignore it as she nodded her head slightly. "So spirits... ghost and things, they really do exist?" she asked, obviously nervous as her eyes widened slightly again. She was the type of perseon who was absolutely terrified of horror movies, even the little ones that everyone else laughed at. She would have to repeat to herself that ghost and monsters weren't real, but it seemed that reassurance was about to be crushed.
She tried to distract herself while waiting for, and fearing, whatever answer she'd get from Razzer as she looked back at Gino instead. "...really," she nodded, only hesitating so she wouldn't stammer. She smiled somewhat weakly at him, wincing a bit at his thought about chocolate, but trying to ignore it as she listened to his question. Then she slowly shook her head. "I haven't. Sorry..." Her eyes moved to his flicking ears, and her hands clenched slightly as she kept herself rom playing with them. It was... very difficult.

"Yes, spirits exist." Razzer said. He guessed that she was the kind of girl who was terrified of such things and lived her life telling herself that they weren't real.
"In fact, they're probably all around us even as I speak." he smiled, knowing that a nearby spirit was probably doing the same. "But they aren't going to pop up through the table and yell 'boo', or anything like that. The only way they can have contact with humans is if they integrate with a spirit integrator." he glanced casually over at Rin, who so far still hadn't noticed Razzer. "So yes, they are real. But they aren't all evil. Some are just peaceful wanderers." And some, like Razzer was hoping Rin would find, had magical powers that could be harnessed. Damn, he hoped Rin could find one who could help him.

After Fayth finished 2 chapters of her book she closed it and put it back in her backpack. She got up to go and order some mango juice. Even the thought of it refreshed her mentally. Mango juice had always refreshed her after the most tiring of days. Looking around she saw that there was a conversation going on between a seven year old girl and another girl who looked like she was doing something interesting Fayth wasn't sure what exactly though.
"It looks like those two are having a interesting conversation."
So Fayth walked over to the two girls to start a conversation at the least. She was curious on what the girl was doing exactly. "Hi Im Fayth! I'm kind of wondering if I can join you two. Is it ok for me to?."

Haruko looked over at the new girl who had just joined her. Here eyes beamed and she popped up from her chair to shake hands with the new girl. Tama approved. "Konnichiwa! Hatashi Haruko Suzuyashi! How are you today?" she asked. She slipped into Japanese, but that was fine. New friends were always good, even if she was the youngest one there. She smiled and Tama's eyes lit up. A small gust of wind burst foreward, nothing too strong. Just something to greet Fayth with.
She was still holding her fish with her other hand. She ate it quickly and dropped her chopsticks into her bentou. "Maybe Fayth will join us...?" she thought to herself. She hoped so. She liked walking in a big group. It reminded her of her time in Osaka.

Rin looked up slowly, hearing someone approach, and their footsteps not fade away like she'd hoped. She frowned, turquiose eyes narrowing slightly. Just how many people were planning on bothering her today? She was regretting letting Kayato take her to dinner, and actually wished she hadn't come here at all. She sighed heavily to herself, staring coldy towards the girl who'd just arrived. She didn't say anything, instead watching as Haruko greeted her instead. One greeting was enough, so Rin felt no need to speak up as well.
She ate a couple more french fries, and then picked up the last between two pale fingers, staring at it silently still. She definitely wasn't in a mood to talk, and simply wanted a chance to escape to her room. She let her eyes dart around the area for a moment, lingering for a moment upon Razzer, as he was accompanied by two others now. She then looked back at her plate, somewhat relieved he wasn't bothering her, as it was farily obvious she hadn't found anyone who could help.

Fayth was imeddiatly shaking hands with Haruko. She seems like a very cheery girl. Almost glad for her to come over. She looked over at the other girl. Fayth got the feeling that she didnt want to talk. So she diverted her attention on Haruko. "Uh would it be okay if I came with you both? I mean if it isn't any trouble..."
She felt a cold stare come from the silent girl. It was clear she didnt want Fayth around.

She didn't say a word until her salad at least was gone, that way she would have something out of the way. "Nothing..it's nothing" she said, trying her best to sound convincing although she was almost sure she didn't. She just didn't know yet how to handle what had happened. Her emotions scared her, especially the one that had been acting up lately. The one involving him. So, after quite a bit of thinking, she thought of the best excuse for her attitude that she could, feeling a little awful that she was about to lie. Again. "I'm on my period so... I'm moody right now." Looking at her soup, she winced a little. That was a topic she never talked about, never the less used to lie about avoiding talking about something. Placing her fork down, she grabbed her spoon and began to eat her soup now.

He looked to her and he blinked just alittle and he looked donw alittle more " he had kinda got that it was a lie and that she realy didnt wont to talk to him about it. he sat there for a second with his head donw before he slowly stood up and be moved around the table back to his normal spot and he sat down across the tabled from her keeping his eyes donw on the table as he thout alittle. the lie realy handt upseted him alot, he new it was human nature, it was something everyone did now and thin. he was looking donw mostly becouse he thout he had upset her or it was his falt she felt bad, and indeed it was just not the way he thout it was. he slowly rested his head on his arms donw on the table looking to the side thinking some he let out a small sigh and he placed with a coin he had found in his pocket spining it around alittle as he thout some nowing she didnt wont to talk to him. he didnt now what to do
