It was a rather warm day, unusual for this time of year, or maybe it was just her. Shyly Anjiu entered the okiya, she had just finished her quiz to join the house, and received her new uniform. She was a bit excited to be honest, this was very new to her, though she has had some Etiquette lessons before.
She quietly began to look around her new home. She felt a little out of place she was pretty old to enter the Okia but she had no idea where else to go or what else she could do.. The tension that filled the air did not help the butterflies in her stomach. She had always admired the Geishas'.
"I will do it, I can do it! I will become a Geisha like the one that helped me all those years ago. And I will work hard and do my best!" she said hoping to boost her courage while she explored her new home. Dwelling on the fear of failure she wasn't watching where she was going and walked into someone or something. {01}

"Oh!" Hanikamiya, who had been watching her feet to check if she were accurately modeling Iyasu-sama's gait, hadn't been looking where she was going and accidentally bumped into the newcomer.
Recovering quickly, Hanikamiya quickly bobbed down and apologized.
...Before doing a double-take when she realized just who was standing in the doorway.
"A-Amyjane-chan?!"

"Honey-chan!!! What on earth are you doing here! Of all places I should have known you would here, you always did want to be a Geisha.. Maybe that is why I decided to join, inside I was hoping to find you again.. How are you? How have you been? You look a bit ill is everything ok?" Anjiu blurted out, her mood had jumped about five feet thanks to the chance meeting with her closest friend.. Or maybe it was fate?
It had been five long years since they had been forced to say good bye. Oh how she had missed Honey-chan! Maybe if we had stayed in contact my life would not be so messed up now, she thought to herself.

Shymagical "My dear friend!" exclaimed Hanikamiya happily, wrapping her arms around the girl in her excitement. "Where have you been? I have not seen you since after the Fire that took out the town" She paused a minute to reflect on what she had just said.
"Oh, but...that was a very sad time...for both of us, wasn't it??" She just couldn't reach her friends eyes.(10)
"How long have you been here, I am lost and looking for the head of the Okiya, might you know where I can find her" she said trying to change the subject. She didn't want to think right now.

MsAmyBug "Oh how I have missed you Honey!!" she replied as she wrapped her arms around her friend, returning the hug. "Yes that was a tragic day, but I have continued living, yet only one day at a time." she added as a tear decided to grace her cheeck.
"How long have you been here, I am lost and looking for the head of the okiya, might you know where I can find her" she said trying to change the subject. She didn't want to think right now.
Grabbing her friends hand, she started to lead her into the direction of the only place she had been able to find easily: the garden.
"Come this way! Perhaps she is in the garden. We will humbly ask her to direct us!"(11)

Anjiu wondered what it would be like and if she would fit in with the others. Would they be kind and pretty? she asked herself as she increased their pace ..{04}

Reading her friends expression, Hanikamiya wrapped her arm around her friend's reassuringly.
"Don't worry! From what I've seen this place is like a beautiful pond full of elegant waterlilies." she said smiling while looking ahead. "You and I are but just buds now, but one day we'll be dancing in the water with the rest of them" (12)

Hakue stood just outside the door to the okiya. Her violet eyes anxiously scanned the streets of the flower quarters as she clutched her few belongings to her chest and pressed her back against the wooden building. Her clothes were worn and threadbare, and she felt ashamed to be in such a place as she caught glimpses of the beautiful figures of geisha and maiko, fluttering down the streets like flower petals.
A bent old woman stood beside her and waited at the entryway to greet the mother of the okiya to arrange for Hakue's indenture. This knarled creature was the woman her grandmother had contacted about moving the girl from their home to an okiya. Grandmother spoke of this place with such enthusiasm, but all Hakue could feel was fear. She was in a unknown place, so different from the small town she had spent her life in. She had never felt so out of place before.
Watanabe-san noticed that her small charge was not beside her and reached out a scrawny arm to drag the young girl closer, swatting her upside the head as she did so.
"Do not wander. I didn't go through all this trouble to lose you," the old woman chided.
Hakue ducked her head and muttered an apology, wondering just what would happen next.

((IM REALLY SORRY ABOUT NOT BEING ON FOR 2 WEEKS!!!! crying crying crying crying my compter got infected with spyware and its taking alot longer then id like to get rid of it hopefully ill be able to get back on soon im really sorry if ive caused any inconvenince))
Mika made her way towards the Okiya she had finaly been releaced from the hospital with orders to take things easy for couple days "home sweet home" Mika muttered walking threw the gardens and towards the entrance to the Okiya
