Felicity stared back up at him not noticing Alexia standing up on the chair behind her as the chair wobbled. she turned just in time to see the chair fall with Alexia on in. she stood there gasping in horror no fully comprehending what had just happened. then came the screams from Alexia

Shadow darted over to Alexia, pushing the chair aside he picked her up in his arms and held her close to him. "Shhh, everytings ok your father is here." he said quietly.

Felicity rushed over right behind Shadow as Alexia continued to scream and cry "oh god oh god oh god is she hurt is she ok?!?!" Felicity asked hysterically

"She is just in shock from the fall. She should be fine." he said to felecity as he rocked gently back and forth. "My poor baby hurt herself. Hush now." he said to Alexia as he kissed her head.

Felicity's heart was still racing as Shadow talked to Alexia "i shouldnt have turned my back on her" Felicity said as she sank to the floor and grabbed her knees "i am so horrible..." and began to cry again "i cant take this"

"no its not just that...its everything" she said as she just sat there "i'm going to be a horrible mother i just have a feeling" she whispered to herself moving away slightly from Shadows touch

Felicity laid her head back on her knees "yeah for now but who's to say i wont be when your gone...Shadow i'm scared" she whispered as if someone would over hear them

"i dont know it seemed like a nightmare to me tho..."she pauses and took a deep breath and sighed "you were transforming and slowly you started to pull away from me stopped wanting to or be around me or Alexia. eventually you left i wondered around the forest for days then i came across you once when you were completely changed and you...you seemed to hate me with such intensity and i didnt know what i had done to you. you took off later that night and i never heard from you. i watched my daughter grow up without a father always asking about her father and why he wasnt here with us. i would have to make up lies to tell her cuz i just could tell her the truth...that her father seemed to have abandoned us. then when Alexia was all grown and married i found out from someone that you had been killed" Felicity looked up into Shadows eyes with desperation "Shadow if that...if that ever happened i would...i cant even bring myself to say it, but i would kill myself if that ever really happened. i've been trying to put it out of my mind all night by keeping myself busy taking Alexia to town anything and everything just so i wouldnt have to remember it"

"That will not happen. I will never abandon you or Alexia. This transformation stops now. Your nightmare can't come true if I don't change. I never knew I was putting you under so much stress, I'm sorry all the pain I have caused you." he said as his eyes dropped.

Felicity stood and walked to Shadow "you havent i'm just scared of new things...things that i cant control. please dont blame yourself" she said as she kissed him then gave their daughter a kiss on the forehead hugging both of them tightly
